GOLD → The rally is intensifying. Growth after false breakdownFX:XAUUSD is breaking upwards and is trying to consolidate above the previous high of 3127 as part of a correction. This would be an ideal support for the bulls. The rally, on the background of political and geopolitical problems only intensifies Tariff escalation pushes up gold demand. Trump rejected the idea of lowering tariffs and the Treasury Secretary named a list of 15 countries that fall under the new measures. This has caused the dollar to weaken and fears of stagflation to rise, boosting demand for gold as a protective asset. Central banks and investors continue to build positions in gold, but corrections are possible before the tariffs announcement on April 2 and the release of U.S. economic data Technically, we have a strong bullish trend, it is risky to sell, we are looking for strong areas or levels to buy. Lingrid | GOLD Weekly MARKET OutlookOANDA:XAUUSD market started the week quietly, but we saw significant bullish movements on Tuesday and Friday. At this stage, any pullback in the market may be viewed as a buying opportunity. The market broke through and closed above the previous resistance zone around 3050 level. Furthermore, it closed above the high from the previous week, marking four consecutive bullish weeks. On a lower timeframe, the market formed an ascending triangle pattern, which is a bullish continuation pattern. If the price breaks above this pattern next week, it could continue to climb higher. Given the recent bullish momentum in the market, there’s a possibility that the price may consolidate after such a strong move, similar to what we observed between Monday and Wednesday. Alternatively, we might see a corrective move toward the previous week’s high, which would present an optimal entry zone. GOLD → It all depends on NFP and Powell....FX:XAUUSD got shaken by 600 pips on both sides. Technically, after such a move the price may go into consolidation, but the near-term outlook will depend on NFP and Powell. Gold hit a high of 3168 and went into correction. President Trump's imposed duties on imports from China (up to 54%) and other countries caused a sharp drop in the dollar and bond yields, reinforcing expectations of a Fed rate cut. Traders turned to profit-taking, which led to a correction. Now the market is waiting for the NFP report and Powell's speech. Weak data may return the upward momentum to gold, especially if the dovish rate expectations are confirmed. However, volatility may persist after the publication, given the impact of Friday's flows and Powell's speech Resistance levels: 3107, 3116, 3135 Support levels: 3086, 3067, 3055 Technically, it is difficult to determine a clear place from where to expect a move as there is news ahead (NFP, Powell's speech). But based on the falling dollar and high economic risks, we can bet on the continuation of the price growth from one of the mentioned support levels: 3086, 3067, 3055. Overall, OANDA:XAUUSD market is in the process of forming an ABC move, with the C point nearing completion around the 3175 resistance zone. The market has made a corrective move of about 1.9% from the peak of the consolidation zone before. I think that the price might create a similar pullback from the all-time high zone. Given the high-impact news scheduled for today, it’s possible that the price could retest the area below yesterday's low. However, considering the current momentum, I expect the market is likely to bounce off the support level and the upward trendline, ultimately moving forward to complete the ABC pattern. GOLD 1H CHART ROUTE MAP & TRADING PLAN FOR THE WEEKHey Everyone, Please see our updated 1h chart levels and targets for the coming week. We are seeing price play between two weighted levels with a gap above at 3090 and a gap below at 3074. We will need to see ema5 cross and lock on either weighted level to determine the next range. We will see levels tested side by side until one of the weighted levels break and lock to confirm direction for the next range. We will keep the above in mind when taking buys from dips. Our updated levels and weighted levels will allow us to track the movement down and then catch bounces up. We will continue to buy dips using our support levels taking 30 to 40 pips. As stated before each of our level structures give 20 to 40 pip bounces, which is enough for a nice entry and exit. OANDA:XAUUSD appears to have made a false break of Tuesday and Wednesday's highs before reversing. Currently, the market is forming a bearish long-tailed bar on the daily timeframe, which may indicate a deeper correction or a consolidation zone between the 3100 and 3140 levels. If the price pulls back toward the support level, I believe it may rebound from there. Given the upward trendline and channel border, this area could serve as an optimal entry point in anticipation of further upward movement. We started the day with our Bullish target 3090 hit, followed with 3103 and then cross and lock confirmation to complete 3117. We also got the cross and lock above 3117 to open 3128 and just fell short of a pip. We will keep this full gap in mind, as we continue with our plans to buy dips Rejection at this level will see lower Goldlturns tested and likely continue to see bounces on the weighted Goldturn levels, which we can use inline with our plans to buy dips. We will keep the above in mind when taking buys from dips. Our updated levels and weighted levels will allow us to track the movement down and then catch bounces up. If you have only started following us, please read the updates below at the bottom from previous weeks to see how effectively we have been tracking this. Once again another great day on the markets with our daily chart idea playing out to completion. Yesterday we updated the completion of our 1H chart route map and today we have finally completed this daily chart idea. Our last update we stated that we had the candle body close above 3052 opening 3103 axis target. This was hit perfectly this week completing this chart idea. We will continue to update our new multi time frame route maps, as usual, with renewed chart ideas on our usual weekly updates. Mr Gold GoldViewFX OLD UPDATES ON THIS CHART IDEA MARCH 23RD WEEK UPDAT E The half line of our unique channel gave the perfect bounce into the next axis target at 2904, inline with our plans to buy dips just like we stated. We now have a body close once again with ema5 cross and lock above 2904 leaving the range above open. We will continue to look for support at the ascending half-line of the channel, as we climb into the range. PREVIOUS WEEKS UPDATE After completing our Bullish targets we stated that the channel top will act as resistance confirmed with ema5 rejection. A break of the channel top with ema5 would confirm a continuation and failure would confirm rejection. This allowed us to identify true breakouts against fake outs. We also stated that we need to keep in mind the channel half line below to establish floor to provide support for the range, should we continue to track further up. A break below the half line will open the lower part of the channel to establish floor on the channel bottom. The safest way to track this movement is by buying dips. - Once again this played out perfectly as we got the rejection on the channel top followed with the channel half line test, which gave the perfect bounce like we stated. We will now either look for a continuation from this bounce or a cross and lock below the half line for a break into the lower channel floor.

GOLD → Correction after a false breakout. A reversal?FX:XAUUSD is forming a false break of the channel resistance within the rally, we should wait for a correction, but not for a trend reversal. Let's see what we can expect from the price in the short and medium term. Gold is reacting to market turmoil over Trump's tariff plans. Investors are looking for protection ahead of the possible imposition of new duties from April 2, boosting demand for the metal Fears of a trade war and a slowing global economy are supporting gold despite positive US GDP data. PCE data and tariff updates will be key catalysts for further movement. Higher inflation could dampen the rally, while weak data will reinforce bets on a Fed rate cut, helping gold to rally further. How to Choose the Right Leverage in Trading: What Metters?One of the most common questions I get from beginner traders is: What leverage should I use ? And every time, my answer is the same: The leverage offered by the broker is irrelevant. What truly matters is the position size you control in the market. Understanding Leverage in Trading Leverage is a tool that allows you to control a larger amount of money in the market than you actually have in your account. Brokers regulated in the U.S., EU, or Australia limit leverage to 1:30, but in other jurisdictions, these restrictions do not apply, and brokers may offer leverage of 1:200 or even higher. What does this mean? Let’s take a concrete example: • You have an account with $1,000. • Your broker offers 1:200 leverage. • This means you can control $200,000 in the market. Although this may sound tempting, you must understand that your profit and loss are calculated based on the amount controlled, not your initial capital. The Real Risk of High Leverage Let’s assume you open a position using the full leverage available and control $200,000 in the market. • If the market moves 100 pips against you, your loss is $2,000. • Your $1,000 account is completely wiped out in just 50 pips of adverse movement. In other words, high leverage can quickly take you out of the game if you do not manage your risk properly. How to Trade Safely If you have an account of $1,000, it is recommended to control much smaller amounts in the market to reduce risk. A safer approach would be: • To control $5,000, meaning you open a position of 0.05 lots. • If you have a higher risk appetite, a maximum of 0.1 lots, which means you control $10,000 in the market. This way, a 100-pip movement against you will not completely wipe out your account, giving you a better chance to manage risk and learn from experience. Conclusion The leverage offered by the broker does not matter; what matters is the position size you open. Set an appropriate risk level for your account and do not be tempted by high leverage offered by brokers. Survival in trading depends on proper risk management, not on how big you can bet on each trade.

Gold's trend has too many friendsThere’s a well-known saying in trading: “The trend is your friend.” I firmly believe in this principle. However, when price movements become too extreme—too fast and too far—it’s wise to exercise caution, even if you’re not ready to take the opposite side of the trade. And right now, I believe that’s exactly the case with Gold. ________________________________________ Why a Major Gold Correction is Likely As I’ve been repeating like a broken record since Monday, Gold’s price is severely deviated from the mean, signaling that a brutal correction is on the horizon. After reaching a new all-time high of 3,150, Gold retraced yesterday, dropping to 3,100—a support level formed earlier in the week. A rebound followed, but as I’ve explained in an educational article, this price action looks more like a stepwise distribution rather than true buying strength. The key point? ➡️ Support isn’t holding because buyers are stepping in—it’s holding because big sellers have paused selling. ________________________________________ Still Bullish, But a Drop is Coming There’s no doubt that Gold is in a strong uptrend. But even if it drops 1,000 pips, the overall bullish trend would still be intact. Key Technical Signs of Weakness 📉 Trendline Break – Yesterday, Gold broke below the rising trendline, marking the first sign of weakness. 📉 Failed Rebound – Despite a short-term bounce, the price is now more likely confirming the break rather than invalidating it. 📉 Lower High in Progress? – The next minor support sits at 3,120. If Gold breaks below this level, we’ll have confirmation of a lower high, which strengthens the bearish case. ________________________________________ Targeting the Correction If Gold breaks below 3,120, I expect a move below 3,100, targeting: 🎯 Soft target: 3,080 🎯 Likely target: 3,030 – 3,040 I believe it’s only a matter of time before this brutal correction plays out.
