Gold made huge profits after falling short, 3100 may breakGold fell back under pressure at 3150, testing the 3100 mark, breaking the previous trend line that had been rising for several days. The market gradually slowed down from strong bulls, and the daily line turned negative for correction. Don't expect the market to turn to short and fall sharply when it reaches here. The long-short conversion needs time to brew, and it is still a bullish trend now, so the probability of forming a volatile trend here is relatively high, with a range of 3138-3100. Only when it breaks below 3100 can we see the market turning to short. If the daily line is just a single negative correction, it will not change the overall upward trend. It depends on whether it can continue to close negative. The previous trend line support broke and turned into a pressure line, which basically coincides with the 3135-3138 line of pressure. If the decline weakens, then the third test of 3100 may break. If it continues to strengthen and break through 3138, it will also hit the high point of 3148-3149.

XAUUSD Hitting 44 year ResistanceGold is currently hitting a key resistance area that goes back to 1980 (44 year) trendline. Some time may be required to correct and absorb this recent bull move. However, I would not be selling out of it completely if that's what one wishes to do with this information. Closing multiple orders with ProfitAs discussed throughout my Wednesday's session commentary: "Technical analysis: The Price-action was once again seen Trading below the #3,152.80 benchmark extended decline where Sellers should finally prevailed and dragg the Price-action more than #57 points downwards (as was announced on one of my remarks lately that Gold always prints #57 point decline once the local High’s rejects the sequence and delivers the eminent rebound). Gold is dangerously approaching again the Higher High’s trendline of the Daily chart’s wide Ascending Channel, way above the #MA50 (aswell on Daily chart, representing in the same manner the Long-term Support zone) in Overbought waters, however every pullback on Gold is accumulation zone for new Bullish cycle." First order I have engaged was Wednesday's Sell order (#3,132.80 - #3,111.80) and I have continued Selling every local High's throughout yesterday's session as I announced possible Selling correction ahead on Gold. Technical analysis: Gold delivered Selling extension as I announced however it would be best for Short-term Sellers to wait for area to be engulfed, as today’s session will most likely represent the crossroads for the next Week, taking in consideration that one can never foresee the sequence until when Fundamentally driven rises and upswing (such as current one) will last and how Gold will digest today's session NFP numbers. Lagging upswing sequence comforted Sellers on it’s Intra-day basis, as Price-action was close to the #2-Month Bottom. The Price-action has altered the downtrend fractal near the Daily chart’s Ascending Channel’s Lower zone, as discussed on my latest commentary, with current mentioned configuration above representing former strong #1-Month Resistance zone. As long as this holds, there are Higher probabilities to reach the Hourly 4 chart’s Higher High’s Lower zone again on Spot prices however touch may be completed Lower depending on the aggression of the current variance. Technically, Gold should ease the Overbought levels, but on such Fundamental landscape (Bull bias), both sides are equally probable unless #3,137.80 gets invalidated to the upside once again. After all, on the Daily timeframe, the pattern is an healthy Ascending Channel which just touched the Higher High’s trendline and has a limit just over current structure, my main point of interests (depending on the impulse of the wave started early last Week). Above the #3,137.80, Short-term Selling pattern is invalidated and the relief attempt may be accelerated towards the Hourly 4 chart’s #3,152.80 benchmark. My position: After excellent week behind me, I didn't had to Trade the NFP however I will as I do expect downside surprise on NFP which could skyrocket Gold upwards coupled with Powell's talks.

Gold and Elliott Wave Theory.Wave 2(Green) was a Zigzag and we should expect a Flat correction for a Wave 4. An A Wave forms shortly after Wave 3 was formed and a Wave B should follow. B's have 3 waves-- two impulses and one corrective-- and in this case Wave A was a simple Wave that was corrected by a Flat for B(Black). Our last impulse is a 5 Wave move and is marked in Black. We are currently on Wave 4 which will be a Flat because 2 was a zigzag. We are currently on the last phases of the B wave(Blue) that comes before a C(Blue) also a 4(Black) in this case. A retest at the 261.8% would spark a Wave 4.

GOLD ROUTE MAP UPDATEHey Everyone, A Piptastic day on the markets today with the breakout finally taking off, perfectly inline with our plans to buy dips and then into our Bullish targets. We had 3 tests on our Bullish target at 3032 this week and then finally a cross and lock opening 3050, which was hit perfectly. We will now need a cross and lock above 3050 for a continuation into the next Goldturn or failure to lock will see rejections into the lower Goldturns for the bounces inline with our plans to buy dips. We will keep the above in mind when taking buys from dips. Our updated levels and weighted levels will allow us to track the movement down and then catch bounces up. We will continue to buy dips using our support levels taking 30 to 40 pips. As stated before each of our level structures give 20 to 40 pip bounces, which is enough for a nice entry and exit. If you back test the levels we shared every week for the past 24 months, you can see how effectively they were used to trade with or against short/mid term swings and trends. XAUUSD Channel Up holding but be ready to short if broken.Gold (XAUUSD) has been trading within a Channel Up on the 4H time-frame, hitting today its 4H MA200 (orange trend-line). That is the first time the price hits this trend-line since February 28 and the previous Higher Low of the pattern. As long as it holds, expect a Bullish Leg similar to the previous one, to hit first the 0.786 Fibonacci retracement level at 3130 and then the 1.786 extension for a Higher High at 3280. Gold operation suggestionsOvernight, gold prices encountered resistance near $3,150 and then fell back as traders took some profits near the all-time high. The current gold price is $3,123.39/oz, up 0.31%, with a high of $3,135.60/oz and a low of $3,107.29/oz. If gold falls below $3,100, it will move toward the nearest support level of $3,050-3,060. If gold stays above $3,100, bulls will remain in control. If the rally continues, the first resistance will be the all-time high of $3,149, followed by the $3,200 mark. From the daily chart of gold, the high and low of gold on Tuesday moved up from the previous trading day, which limits the bearish potential of gold. All moving averages are still far below the current gold price level and continue to rise. The 20-day simple moving average (SMA) is currently around $3001.00/ounce. Although the daily line has pulled back, the trend has not changed. There is a certain peak pullback pressure in the short term. The current trend has not fallen below the 5-day moving average support. The bulls still have expectations of strengthening again. Therefore, before closing below the 5-day moving average, it is still bullish. From the 4-hour chart of gold, the technical indicators are steadily falling, but they are still above the midline. There is a repair trend today, and the main focus is on whether 3150 can be broken. From the trend of the past two days, we can get several signals. Although the bulls are strong, the gold price has exceeded dozens of points when it has a wave of pullbacks at high levels. Another is that the low point of the pullback on Tuesday did not fall below the low point on Monday, and even the low point of the pullback in the US market has just been touched.
