GOLD ROUTE MAP UPDATEHey Everyone, Another great day the charts with our chart idea playing out in usual fashion. After completing our bearish target on our last update, we stated that price was heading towards 2629 to complete the Bullish target that was left short by a few pips previously. - 2629 bullish target was hit perfectly followed with ema5 cross and lock opening 2655. This target is now also complete, which gave plenty of time from confirmation to getting hit . We will now wait for a cross and lock above 2655 for further continuation or failure to lock above will see price reject and find support at the lower Goldlturns for a reaction. We will keep the above in mind when taking buys from dips. Our updated levels and weighted levels will allow us to track the movement down and then catch bounces up. We will continue to buy dips using our support levels taking 30 to 40 pips. As stated before each of our level structures give 20 to 40 pip bounces, which is enough for a nice entry and exit. THE KOG REPORT THE KOG REPORT: In last week's KOG Report we said we would look for two levels from the open to be attempted where we wanted to short the market. The first level of 2630-5 worked extremely well for us giving us a level to level, point to point short into the red box region and target level we had shared. This move completed a majority of our bearish targets apart from one, also giving us the opportunity to then long back up into the Excalibur targets we had above. During the later part of the week we shared the updated chart and gave the levels again to attempt the short, and again, a pinpoint short came from the level we wanted and we closed the week with runners left on those trades. Another decent week in Camelot, not only on Gold but also the other pairs we trade and analyse giving us a 15 out of 16 targets completed. So, what can we expect from the week ahead? To start, we have NFP towards the end of the week, so we’ll use this report for the first half of the week and then release the NFP KOG Report with our view per-event. After the bearish move on Friday, we’ll be looking for a base during the early sessions, potentially deeper into the 2625-30 region before then attempting the long trade back up to target the resistance levels. It’s those resistance levels 2640 and above that again the 2650-55 region that need to be monitored this week for the break, if held, further opportunities may be available to short again unless broken. We’re still in the larger range with key level support 2605 and resistance sitting way up at 2670-75 so it gives us some idea of the play. If we do break above that 2550 level and hold with a close, we'll look higher again into the range high trading level to level. Gold can drop from resistance line of pennant to 2595 levelHello traders, I want share with you my opinion about Gold. Observing the chart, we can see how the price rebounded from the support line and rose to 2790 points, after which turned around and started to decline. In a short time, the price fell to the support line, breaking the resistance level, which coincided with the seller zone and then continued to fall next. Soon, Gold declined below the support line and even broke the 2595 level and fell to 2536 points. But later Gold turned around and made a strong impulse up to the seller zone, breaking the support level one more time, and started to trades inside pennant as well. Next, the price made a small correction and then some time traded in the range, after which in a short time rose to the seller zone back. In this area, it reached the resistance line of the pennant and then started to decline to the buyer zone, breaking the 2710 level. Later XAU some time traded near the support line of the pennant and then rebounded up to the resistance line of this pattern, which at the moment continues to trades near. For this case, I think that Gold can rebound from the resistance line and drop to the support level, exiting from the pennant. Therefore I set my TP at 2595 level. GOLD DAILY CHART MID/LONG TERM UPDATEHey Everyone, Please see the daily chart update we have been trading and tracking for a while now, to give you all an overall view of the range. As stated last week the retracement range is still providing support and we also stated that we had a candle body close above 2629 opening 2686 gap and will also need ema5 lock to further confirm this. - This gave a nice push up last week with over 200 pips. We now also have the ema5 confirmation for the long range gap above at 2686. As long as the retracement range holds and provides support we will continue to buy dips knowing we have the gap above open. We will use our smaller timeframe analysis on the 1H and 4H chart to buy dips from the weighted Goldturns for 30 to 40 pips clean. Ranging markets are perfectly suited for this type of trading, instead of trying to hold longer positions and getting chopped up in the swings up and down in the range. We will keep the above in mind when taking buys from dips. Our updated levels and weighted levels will allow us to track the movement down and then catch bounces up using our smaller timeframe ideas. Our long term bias is Bullish and therefore we look forward to drops like this, which allows us to continue to use our smaller timeframes to buy dips using our levels and setups. THE KOG REPORT - UpdateQuick update for market open tomorrow: We were looking for the move upside on the Monday initially wanting the 2610-15 level but exceeded the resistance giving us a nice capture. We're now above 2610 as the key level so we'll be looking for support to hold us up around the red box region for an attempt at the 2630-35 order region with the possibility of slightly higher before a RIP. Lingrid | GOLD Potential EXIT from the CONSOLIDATION ZoneOANDA:XAUUSD moved higher and is currently testing the previous week's high. It has broken out of the consolidation zone, and notably, the price has also broken and closed above a trendline that acted as a resistance zone for more than three weeks. I believe the price is targeting a retest of the weekly high at 2,665. However, I anticipate that the market may experience a pullback before continuing its upward trajectory. Looking left on the chart, we can see that the price has bounced off this support level several times in the past, reinforcing its significance. Therefore, it would be prudent to wait for confirmation of further movement. THE KOG REPORT - UpdateEnd of day update from us here at KOG: Yesterday we wanted the pull back to go higher and said we would be looking for price to attempt the 2630-35 region with the extension of the move into the 2640-45 region before a potential RIP. GOLD WEEKLY CHART MID/LONG TERM ROUTE MAPHey Everyone, Another update on the weekly chart idea we have been tracking for over a month now and still playing out as analysed. As stated already this chart allowed us to project the long term corrections and direction. We are using this chart to track our bullish targets until no ema5 lock to confirm rejections on the levels. The channel top is continuing to provide support like we stated for the past few weeks, We had a test within the channel into 2590 axis inline with the retracement range, which gave the perfect reactional support bounce. This is the beauty of our Gold channels, which we draw in our unique way, using averages rather than the price. This enables us to identify fake-outs and breakouts clearly, as minimal noise in the way our channels are drawn. As long as we see no ema5 break and lock below into the channel, we cane safely continue with our plans to buy dips in this range using the the levels just like the last few weeks reactional bounce above the retracement axis level. Ema5 is still playing above the channel top and has not broken into the channel providing support above the channel. Best Chart Patterns in Price Action for Intraday & Swing Trading Last year I shared more than 1000 free swing and intraday trading signals for Forex, Gold, Silver, Oil, Crypto and Major Indexes. The majority of the setups were based on classic price action chart patterns. What I did through the trading year, I kept a record of each free signal that I posted: noting the winners, losers and the entry reason. In this article, I will share with you the most accurate and profitable patterns for trading by accuracy and winning rate. First, let me reveal the list of chart patterns that I traded this year: double top & double bottom, head & shoulders pattern, cup & handle, bullish and bearish flag, rising and falling wedge, horizontal channel, ascending, descending and symmetrical triangles. And I did not trade every pattern that I spotted. There were some specific criteria that I relied on to confirm the validity of the patterns. Keep reading and you will learn these criteria. Secondly, you can back test the performance of a trading setup and of each pattern that I shared on my official tradingview page by your own. Simply, use the filter to display the desired pattern. Tradingview does not allow removing the trading signal once it is posted, so all the results are 100% real. My TradingView Page - www.tradingview.com Thirdly, all the chart patterns that I trade strictly formed on key daily supports and resistances . I never trade the patterns beyond key levels. For example, the triangle chart pattern on an hourly time frame on EURAUD that I posted recently was formed on a key daily horizontal resistance. Please, note that the price action patterns alone that are formed far from strong supports and resistances will always have a lower winning rate. Also, I applied the chart patterns primarily for day trading and swing trading. The time frames that I used were daily/4h/1h. For scalping, the performance will be different. And the last thing that patterns in chart patterns trading is the direction of the market trend. The price action pattern that indicates a price movement against the trend will always have a lower accuracy than the one the aligns with the trend and give a trend following signal. In the trading setup above, I spotted not only a bullish price action pattern on an hourly time frame but also a strong bullish trend on a daily. Following all these criteria, here are the winning rates of chart patterns that I traded this year. Double top & double bottom pattern get 66% winning rate. That's the example of a perfect double bottom chart pattern for trading. Remember that the fact that the price formed a pattern does not provide a reliable signal, we trade only after a breakout of its neckline and a candle close beyond, that is our strong confirmation. Head & shoulders pattern and its inverted version get 69% winning rate. You can find a valid head and shoulders pattern above. It was formed on a key daily resistance, and the trade was opened strictly after a violation of the neckline. Cup & handle pattern and its inverted version has 67% accuracy this year. That's a very perfect cup and handle that the price formed on a key support. Confirmation is the violation of the horizontal neckline. Bullish and bearish flags get 62% accuracy. Examine the perfect flag pattern on USDJPY. The market is bullish on a daily and trades within a rising channel. The price formed a bullish flag on an hourly, approaching its support. Our signal to buy is the violation of its upper trend line. Rising and falling wedges get 64% accuracy. The rising wedge that the price formed on the chart above perfectly aligns with the up trend on a daily. Horizontal channel - the range achieves 68% winning rate. The horizontal range that the price formed after a breakout of a key daily support and its consequent test was broken to the downside, giving a reliable intraday confirmation signal. The accuracy of ascending and descending triangles gave correct signals in 67% of the trades. We made a nice profit, buying Bitcoin after a breakout of a neckline of the ascending triangle pattern that was formed on a retest recently broken daily resistance that turned into support. Symmetrical triangle got 61% winning chance. The violation of a falling trend line of a symmetrical triangle after a test of a key daily support gave a strong intraday bullish signal. The best and the most accurate trading setups were based on a combination of multiple patterns. It is a situation, when the market forms 2 or even more the-same biased patterns. The trading setup above combines 2 bearish price action patterns on a key daily resistance: rising wedge pattern and descending triangle. Breakouts the trend line and neckline of both patterns gave very accurate bearish signal. Such setups have a winning chance above 70%. GOLD ROUTE MAP UPDATEHey Everyone, Once again our chart idea is playing out perfectly. We got our bearish target now complete at 2600 followed with the weighted bounce and now heading towards 2629 to complete the Bullish target gap that was left short by a few pips yesterday. We are still seeing price play between the two weighted levels and will one of the weighted levels to break and lock to confirm direction for the next range. We will keep the above in mind when taking buys from dips. Our updated levels and weighted levels will allow us to track the movement down and then catch bounces up. We will continue to buy dips using our support levels taking 30 to 40 pips. As stated before each of our level structures give 20 to 40 pip bounces, which is enough for a nice entry and exit. If you back test the levels we shared every week for the past 24 months, you can see how effectively they were used to trade with or against short/mid term swings and trends. THE KOG REPORT - UpdateEnd of day update from us here at KOG: A nice start to the week with price dipping into our Red box support region, giving the bounce for the long into the Red box resistance as highlighted, and then giving the perfect short into the lower levels where we stopped just short of the region we wanted. We've had quite a few requests for our long term projections so we'll try and keep up to date with publishing them. If the level holds us down, we have support below 2555-60 on what could be the breaker swing!
