XMRMonero after the surge of 2016 until the beginning of 2018, we entered a correction that started wave 2. But it is not just any wave. It is a complex second wave wave. In which it involves continuation pattern. Pattern cup and handle figure. When we break out of this loop we will see higher high prices. And of course, for that to happen we need to see bitcoin restore prices higher and higher. XMR Crab market? potential reversal? I'm a permabull either way!XMR is the most threatening digital asset to "the powers that be" since bitcoin. Unfortunately, monero is a victim of its' own success - the private-by-default currency is so good it naturally attracts the darkside of the economy (darknets, ransomware, et al). However, it is important to note that bitcoin got it's start in exactly the same manner and anyone avoiding purchasing bitcoin under this same logic missed out on 2-3 figure BTC - will history repeat itself and those hesitant of regulatory uncertainty will miss out once again on cheap monero? Or perhaps, more bearishly, bitcoin (& other transparent-ledgers) will simply be pushed to the mainstream with more zeal, as governments cannot afford to have their citizenry educated on monero for it potentially threatens their biggest revenue generation tool: taxation? As we see Monero experience delisting pressures at a time when community metrics and chain metrics are at their peak (in November, we did 11% of bitcoin's monthly tx's in the same month, for example), it is hard to get a grasp on where this coin is truly headed. I hope the true dexes and atomic-swaps that the community is working on come to fruition and can offset some of the delisting pressures. In any case, 0.4% of bitcoin's price while doing 11% of their tx-volume on the same time-frame makes XMR a seriously attractive buy for bitcoin whales even if they just want a small hedge bag. Personally? I think pandora's box has been opened and monero can't go much lower than it already is without an entire market crash bringing everything down with it. Monero is the only coin poised to be able to handle any/all potential crypto regulations thrown at it, as well. In the privacy space, there is no serious competitor. The market is in a game of chicken with the price of Monero. How low can it go? We'll see... They say the market can remain irrational longer than one can remain solvent. But that only applies to margin traders and the overleveraged/overexposed. If you invest properly, you should be able to remain patient longer than the market can remain irrational. That's the real secret. Buy the good stuff, and do nothing - for years potentially - until one day your whole life is different.

Monero Breakout Imminent, $500USD Price TargetHello Traders, Today we will take a look at the weekly chart of Monero (XMR). It is evident that Monero has been underperforming this bull run due to its price action being rather bearish. The one red flag is that time after time Monero continues to be delisted off exchanges due to regulatory concern but, that does not change the stunning privacy technology the coin has to offer. However, I propose to you why a bullish continuation may take Monero to the upside. On the Weekly Candles of XMRUSD, a falling wedge pattern is playing out (measured by weekly candle closes, not wicks.) One of the standard methods of a Falling Wedge Pattern is taking the first Impulse-Up move of the pattern and then measuring it above the upper trend line of where the current price is looking to break Another alternative way to know what to expect for the Falling Wedge Pattern is that the price will eventually meet back of where the top of the wedge was, (both methods also can be applied to rising wedges inversely). Lastly, the Weekly Candle's MACD has been red for too long, it is bound to flip soon and the RSI is looking relatively neutral and receiving a tiny bullish divergence on the Daily. Monero Forming Massive Cup And HandleThis is a weekly chart! If the handle is formed, the resistance is broken and the pattern is validated it will clearly be time to go long. You could also enter now and trade with a stop loss that ends above the upper half of the cup as otherwise it will no longer be a Cup & Handle pattern. Targetpoints for me would be around $800, $1000 and $1200. In regard to the coins fundamental values: It's still the darknets number one choice privacy coin :)

Strong Backing, Thoughts on Monero Monero Analysis: Two things that stand out to me immediately are the decisively volatile price action periods in late 2017/early 2018, and in early 2021. The levels during these volatile sessions seem to be trading generally higher in 2021 than in 2018, and the decisiveness of market closing is clearly greater in 2021. This market seems to have undergone an extremely similar market phase in 2021 as it did in 2018, although this time around there has been several years of consolidation distancing the action. I feel that considering the eventfulness and the general uncertainty of the global markets during the global pandemic that started in 2020, the fact that Monero continued to trade at generally higher levels than prior to early 2018, and was able to again display considerable value leading into early 2021, shows that this asset is here to stay. I think in the short term we will most likely see a continued period of consolidation and market correction, with levels perhaps even getting as low as 100.00.
