DIA closed at 329.07. Overall DIA doesn't look too different from SPX. It put in a slightly better day with a green doji on Friday, but the higher timeframe look is similar. DIA does have more range to recover, and needs to test 340 before bullish intent can be restored. Underneath this level, DIA has historically weaker support, so it's more likely we can see DIA...
QQQ closed at 309.25. QQQ showed more weakness on Friday comapred to SPX. It's more likely that QQQ can continue down at this level. QQQ underneath 308 will break beneath both fib and trendline supports. QQQ seems set to be testing larger timeframe lows at 293. It's possible though if the market can find significant buy-side momentum that QQQ recovers from a...
SPX closed at 4123.35. SPX is holding the overall pitchfork trendline with it's daily closes, but has wicked underneath twice. It's decently likely that SPX will break underneath sometime this week if we don't see a reversal out of Monday/Tuesday. SPX can test 4085, and likely 4000 next after on the weekly if we do not find support at this levels. Less likely, SPX...
TSLA closed the week at 870.76, and rejected the key golden zone fib area multiple times last week. TSLA can continue to fall and test ~755 if we can see TSLA underneath 848 early into this week. Daytrades/weeklies can work if TSLA loses this level quickly and breaks down on Monday. I would consider a longer term larger position if TSLA doesn't show any momentum...
DIA closed the week at 329.69. Compared to the other major indicies, DIA looks the least bearish this week. DIA held up better than QQQ did as it's components that had ER posted slightly better results on average. DIA did not yet break beneath the previous local low at 328, nor the critical low at 322. It's likely to test both of these levels this week.
QQQ closed the week at 313.25. We saw QQQ reject 326 and quickly fall on Friday. QQQ broke beneath the previous lows at 318, and is likely to test 306-300 next. QQQ moved violently this week as a result of earnings, with many large-cap components posting poor results. We can see QQQ test ~300 this week, before any potential reversal.
SPX closed the week at 4131.92. SPX closed very near the previous low of 4115. Look for this area to be a decisve fighting ground this week. SPX tested and rejected hard off of the 4300 area last week, and now can test lower underneath 4115 if more sell-side momentum is found. We should see a more definitive look on SPX after Tuesday. If SPX can set up in either...
SPX closed at 4271.79. SPX is mostly bearish at these levels, especially after a high momentum sell-off starting on Thursday. SPX can continue to test lower, but critically needs to break below 4251 trendline resistance and move to test 4197-4150 resistance area this week. If these levels can hold, we can see SPX rebound to test 4454 eventually within 2 weeks. If...
MCK closed at 318.18. MCK presents an interesting short oppourtunity after putting in a potential topping pattern at 320, near the 1.0 fib off of it's monthly move. MCK can break below 317.43, then move to test 313, and more likely 302. MCK has been extraordinarily extended, and is ready for a larger pullback. If MCK can clear 322, I would avoid puts.
