SPX Monthly (since 1981) - log chart with time symmetry - Oct-1987 vs Mar-2009 bottoms. Of course, nothing says it's going to end up similar. There were only 2 declining years 1987-2000. There have been 2 from 2009-2017 (2011 & 2015). 4 more up yrs (47 months) to finish it? OK, more than a few things are disregarded with an isolated market analysis like this...
