Hunting the dips in decent companies after hysteric sell-offs. That's what I'm doing in US stock markets. The other strategy that gave profits was buying into undervalued sectors with great perspective, which I don't do now, as the last sector I believed in was the IT-related (FB, AMZN, GOOG, BABA) and it was all fun and games until this year where it just doesn't...
One of today's top losers is MMM (NYSE), after the results came out the sell off began, even thou the earnings met projections. There is still some room for the downside, I will keep an eye out for this one and if it hits the trend line it may be worth getting into it, on a ride back to 240 levels.
LMT bleeped on my radar just now as it went down more than 7% despite going up by 1% in pre-market. The move came in after new results were out, I'll quote some of them and you be the judge if this fall is organic: "- earnings of $1.2B, or $4.02 per share, compared to $78M, or $2.69 per share, in the same quarter a year ago. - Quarterly cash deployment: Cash...
FB came out with great results yesterday beating earnings and revenue expectations. It is trading at +7% in pre-market or around 171 level. Last week or so, Twitter and Netflix came out with great results as well. Mind you, the same type of investors like to invest in all 3 of these companies. Twitter and Netflix reached their maximum on the day of earnings...
PM fell today after earnings report more than it really should. It passed through level 88 like butter and is trading lower at the time of writing. Next support is around 75.5, however I would look into buying it at 78 if it falls there. In short earnings report beat PROFIT expectations, expected: 0.90$, was 1$; Revenue was also higher Y/Y by about 13%, however,...
Earlier today I found this video www.youtube.com which shows the price movements since the day 1 of Bitcoin. We had several bull runs just like this one and each one you observe without looking at the price may fool you into thinking you are looking at the most recent chart (2017-2018). I think we should go way up in coming years, but that's that, years, not...
Why did I sell all my coins at a loss and entered short positions? - BTC has been falling in a manner that shows that there is no significant demand for it. - BTC hasn't had any FUD or bad news about it for quite sometime to justify this fall. - Almost all major alts, LTC included have basically passed through all invalidation levels that were in place to...
Everyone who followed my last idea saw we were 100% on point on all turning points for BTC in its final 5th wave of wave 2, and as one of my followers noted, it was possible to earn 2.500$ per BTC traded just by following those turning points. I was also amazed how well it went and I left that analysis with a conclusion that we are entering the 3rd, impulsive wave...
Seems like the recent push towards 9900 was just a final leg up of the IV wave which is now over and we are in the V final wave of this correction. We may still see 7500-7600 levels and we should see a bounce from there up until at least 12.500 area. You need a lot of data to confirm the bottom (7500) but if the drop is extremely sharp and the lowest point is...
If you followed our previous update you know that we are counting down to the bottom which is projected at around 7550 level. The way to get there is in waves and so far we bounced off the 8800 level and then stopped the climb at 9400 level, which some of our followers traded and managed to take quick profits. We stand by the original projection and are waiting...
To make the long story short - NG keeps bouncing off the 2,5xx level to at least 3,2 whenever that level is reached. I think it will happen again. Also there is a gush of cold weather coming after 26th February, and when this is pushed to the media it should start climbing towards 3,2 much faster, as current storage draws report are very bullish.
To make the long story short, BTC/USD tends to move by Elliot wave rules in 80% of the time. My current count says that since the major bottom we had in February we've been in major wave 1, before turning bearish towards the major wave 2. I still think we are currently in that major wave 2 but in it's final round. Major wave 2 also has 5 waves within itself and...
Hello everybody, maybe some of you, like myself trade on tight margins, daily, and are sometime caught with these unexpected chop downs, like the one that happened tonight. When these sudden dips occur, some traders around you might panic and over-exaggerate expecting the whole market to completely crash down. When this happens I keep reminding myself to zoom out ...
