I've been thinking about this and gone back and forward multiple times. I think we're not going to see the $3000 range everyone is waiting for (yet). This scenario makes the most sense to me and I am actually looking for a long entry here! Going against the crowd is definitely hard but I believe a trader has to decide for himself and not get other ...

We might have a potential short setup forming. Look for a loss of momentum and signs of reveral. The setup is not valid if we make a higher high and upside momentum keeps growing.
Protect your capital, have a plan and stick to it. Cut your losses quickly if things are going south.

From the recent action I suspect there is a high chance that we are currently in a bear flag and might see a lower low into $3200 - $3000 range. Placing some orders there just in case ;)

The price action in the circle looks alot like a bulltrap and I am anticipating a pullback here to test and confirm the support before moving up.

As always protecting your capital is the utmost importance for a trader - use stop loss!
For stop loss I will be looking for the momentum to the downside in 3600 range - a mental stop loss.

We can spot the volume spikes within the 3500 range. What we can make out is an anomaly - the volume and price movements are not correlated. I suggest this is accumulation going on and once it's done we can anticipate a break to the upside. Bears be careful, shorts squeeze could come soon!
