Just a quick snapshot showing the 500% + price gain on crude oil from COVID crash in 2020 to March 2022. Over 500% increase. Given tensions in Ukraine and boycotts of Russia, this bull run is likely to continue.
This might be just a simple charting of the fall from grace for Pfizer (PFE), Moderna (MRNA) and BioNTech (BNTX). Compare the dates of dips with press coverage of fading covid19 efficiency and emerging adverse effects and the story becomes more complicated.
Stepping back to look at a long term chart of the ASX200, S&P500 and ASX.WES (Wesfarmers) over 30 years. It's very telling seeing the higher % gains in the US indice over the ASX indice. More telling is seeing ASX.WES outperform the indices due to significant reform and expansion of the company via acquisitions and growth.
this chart might be too busy, fundamentally Supermarkets (COL & WOW) chart differently to electronics/entertainment (HVN & JNH) which chart differently to
just a quick comparison of ASX coal stocks. while much of the price movement is due to commodities prices, the differing levels of resources, expansion plans and exploration proving resources explains much of the chart movements.
