As I am more bullish on Gold than USDJPY, I think this is how it would play out in the near future. Let's see. USDJPY has to break out of the flag pattern, hit above the important resistance else it would continue its downward spiral move. Gold has been surging for almost non-stop over the last 10 days or so. It is time to take a breather and likely to continue...
There are 2 scenarios. If it breaks down from the lower channel, it would test the 618 FIB level and hopefully have a rebound. If not, it may rebound from the lower channel and heads up. Notice it is still in a bullish trend in the 4H chart. Do not short unless you are clear what you are doing and have a strategy for it. Best of luck to all

Did you see what I see on this chart ?
It took me quite a while to learn how to sell. Seriously. Even saying , to sell high buy low sounds weird to me. In most instances, selling means 1) cutting loss 2) taking profits - partial or full Now, selling means an entry position, hoping to buy back later at lower price. That takes practice , at least for me. Honestly, many many practices as it is a...
Nothing is impossible to those who believe.
In trading, the recency bias / effect is when a trader focuses too heavily on his or her most recent trading decisions / trades and loses perspective on the bigger picture. In other words, when a trader has recency bias, they can't see the forest for the trees, so to speak. Ask most people about their views on bitcoin, most would tell you about its parabolic...
Some like it , some hated it. For me it depends if the price action and signs are clear, if not I just stay away. We don't have to trade every single pair all the time. Spreading too thin also affect your focus to watch "too many eggs" at one time. When market turns and suddenly your portfolio turns red (small individual loss when aggregate becomes big), one is...
Too many people are afraid of the crash of cryptocurrencies having seen how ripple, bitcoin had fallen double digit in a single day. Welcome to the new normal. This class of unique assets (if it can be classified as one) has these characteristics, high volatility. It can works both ways and I think that is the draw or charm of this "asset" to many. It's a quick...
US$ has been in a carnage for the whole of 2017. I hope it starts to rebound at the blue price zone. Basically, it is shorting pairs like USDCHF and buying EURUSD in this case.
Remember we say there is money in your coffee? See our linked chart. Now it has breakout of the channel, retraced, this is a good buying opportunity.
Don't berate yourself just because you missed the first opportunity. Some people are convinced the first time they hear a sales pitch, others may need more time to be convinced. They need stacking evidence to be assured. Nothing wrong with that.
