Swiss Franc CHF -- via stock FXF The USD (I track through DXY) is king for now, and causing/will cause a whole lot of problems globally. I'm looking for entry to the Swiss Franc, a longer term play, via the stock FXF, which I have traded in the past but have no shares in, as I type this. Technical - note the Bullish Divergence on the Relative Strength Indicator...
This chart shows my price targets for a Livermore Speculative pattern playout on BTC.
Livermore Speculative Chart is the guiding tactic of this analysis, and the next part as well. See 2 of 2 for the strategy. My move in is a confirmation of 5 set.
Please note, I define short term as a range of a few weeks, mid term as a Quarter, maybe a Quarter and a half. In the short term I'm Bullish, however, very wary at longer time frames - anything can happen -- too many systemic problems. Risk Off is a key term. Back to TA -- note the channel - that presents the Bull Case **WITH...an Inverse Head and Shoulders...
This SPY Daily Chart (Proper name SPDR S&P 500 ETF) is complimentary to a Weekly Chart I'll be publishing in a few minutes. I've always annotated on this chart, and only use ES as a reference. I'm a big fan of Inverse Head and Shoulders reversal patterns - these I H&Ss (plural) form the core of this analysis. On the Daily, note the Megaphone Pattern forming...
Divergence Spotted: Divergence between Relative Strength Index (RSI) and Price Action. Note the red and blue lines. RSI is strengthening, as price is pushed downward for a number of reasons, including, I think - the need for Platinum with all the Geopolitical saber-rattling this spring.
I'm usually a Bitcoin Bull. I hope that my main Bearish these is invalidated. Today, at NYSE market close, I sold a considerable (for me) BTC position. I like to buy, hold and trade Alts for BTC but it's recently been off-putting to me. Analysis: Price action: Note all the red arrows and interaction with MA (Moving Average) Lines. Note the green colored text box...
on the 4 hour view, I see many Bullish indicators - higher lows (labeled HL1, and HL2) - and a recent LTF (Low Time Frame) clearly developing H&S (Inverse Head and Shoulders) pattern - Bullish -- once the neck line is passed and confirmed.
Here we are make or break I've been watching this funding index (middle indicator on chart) for well over a year - note the "gate" notes, and 54% drop correlations - then notice the green circles -- past and present. Notice the tight price action in this period. hi Putt
I've tweaked the Ichimuku settings. Bullish Bitcoin needs to rise above the orange signal line, and break and close above the cloud.
let's see if I can get this humor...ahem...I mean, TA --- out there, before anyone else :) bullish mid term, but disclosure, I've been trading this back and forth short term DYOR
This not meant to be a tutorial, this is how I'm doing things. I run multiple BTC charts, so I see things on one, that I'll have not seen on another. Custom Ichimoku settings here. Base line (orange) is tweaked. DYOR, NIA
someone at point 3 didn't get the memo back in June 2020...(and then their floor boss corrected them)....but, it looks (to me) like a Livermore pattern. DYOR
I'm leaning on the MACD for this analysis. Please see notes on the chart. At the moment I am not adding to my position. I did make a buy last night, to set aside FOMO, but will only add on more confirmation. Note, 2 days ago everything was lined up "so perfect" for a Bull ish call. So perfect -- so, it seemed like a trap, or...perhaps, simply the beginning of...
Livermore's Speculative Chart (on the LINK / USD pair, lower pane) forming?? (point #7?)
Possible Inverse Head and Shoulders. Bottoming pattern developing? - Gold Junior - early leader/early indicator of the PM version of the Battle of Kursk?
My Ichimoku inputs are: Lagging Span 37 Base Line 8 Neutral - but long
OBV OSC -- I'm watching. Higher low is Bullish.
