Loving some of the gains seen since posting that higher time frame chart, my outlook hasn't changed and I'm long baby!! That support highlighted took a bashing over Christmas, wouldn't be surprised if strat walks straight through it...
man im bullish on bitcoin, really bullish. i think it could break out right now, maybe tomorrow but honestly, this would be max-pain scenario. spend the next few weeks looking to make a new lower low in the 9100 area before really rocketing off. get some bears super trapped.
Well... BTC channel may have been a bit shortsighted of me. After looking at the break out more Im now leaning towards this being a full on falling wedge and we just got an iH&S to break it out.
Big longs now imo.

noting a few points where the volume has dropped to sustained low averages, we can spot a trend of significant price action response with the return of significant volume.
leaning slightly bearish on the short term for btcusd as alt coin volume is an outlier. alt coin volume was drastically lower over all of the time captured in this view until the last few weeks.
watching for a volume increase, need something bigger if we test the top of channel as highlighted in the last post. still bullish bit coin into the halving but fully expecting chop in the short term
Not really playing with btc here, mostly stacking sats from alt plays. Ill be a buyer below 7.4k on the red movement, otherwise if the volume is good on a green movement ill happilly buy 8.2k btc
