When it comes to moving averages, people tend to forget what they are. A moving average is just as the name suggests - an average of the chosen number of candles that moves (once a new candle prints). I know it seems obvious to most, but why then, when it comes to lengths we seem to be so confused about it? When choosing the length of a MA - what do you look for?...
Waiting for the hourly candle to close to enter a long. Multiple reasons for entry. Bottom indicators are showing each currency strength in relation to the market, and in relation to Gold.
Is this a short in the making? Waiting to see if the New York Opening Range breaks down. If yes, the top of range, or the MA channel's top would be my stop.
Would be nice to see a break of New York Opening Range and nice slow move down.
I would love for this scenario to play out. First the bottom indicators would need to cross over - Red over Blue and AUD over USD. Then a nice candle close above the Moving Average channel and hopefully close above the New York Session Opening Range.
