Looks to me like $MSFT is forming a cup with handle formation. These types of set-ups have a high success rate. A proper entry would be when it breaks above the cup. I like to do early entries so I have an alert set at $224.25 which is not too early but early non-the-less. Of course, I'll be looking for a good market and higher volume on any breakout. All TBD....
$PENN looks to have a nice wedging pattern here. I have an alert set for $70.01. I'm looking for a good market and increased volume on any breakout to go long. Ideas, not investing / trading advice.
I'd like to see $DKNG drop down and hold the 50 SMA. However, I don't think that's going to happen so I've set an alert just above the 10/12 high @ $52.60. If it can do that in the next day or two I'll look for a logical entry point. I also like how the selling volume is drying up as this falls. This tells me $DKNG is running out of sellers. All TBD. Ideas, not...
I published this idea about 2 weeks ago. I was looking for it to drop to the 50 day SMA and then bounce up. It did not do that. I am now watching this to simply resume it's move higher. I've got an alert at $67.15, just above yesterdays (10/12) high. Then I will look for a logical entry. This is a recent IPO so It can be volatile. All TBD. Ideas. not investment /...
I've been giving my last post on $NDX Bull Channel some additional thought. I have now considered that what was once support (Yellow Trend Line) could now be resistance. I am now looking at a similar thesis on the bull channel with the yellow line as being the upper limit or resistance and when getting near or over to look for a pullback into the new lower channel...

I have been in and out of $DOCU the last couple of weeks. It's been a difficult hold. However, I'm looking to get back into this name on the long side if it can hold at least 2/3's of today's gain going into the close. It appears to me that we now have a series of higher highs and higher lows since the pullback. Ideas, not investing / trading advice.
As you can see by the notes on my chart I have a position in this. I'd like to point out that on Oct 2 while the large volume bar says it was a strong selling day look at the candle above associated with that volume. It closed higher on the day then when it opened. I take that as a very bullish day. The bears kept trying to push this down but the bulls were...
I'm looking for $TSLA to move to the upside and I have an alert set for $430. If it can do that, I'll be looking for a logical entry to go long. TBD. Ideas, not investing / trading advice.
I'm already long this name and I like how volume has been drying up the last few trading sessions. I think that means that the day traders are pretty much out setting it up for more institutional buying. I like how it's been knocking on the higher end and I'm looking for $DDOG to break thru that and move to new ATHs. I have an alert set at $108.25, a new high, if...
I've been looking at the action for the last few weeks and it seems as though the market may be re-aligning for a new bull channel. All TBD. For me, if this violates the bottom channel line I'd have to re-think my hypothesis. Just sharing thoughts on probabilities.
I've been long this name before, sold for a small profit. It looks to me like it wants to head back down the the 50 SMA. If it does that, I'll be looking to go long as it has bounced from that line (or near) in the past. So, I'm looking for it to drop to around $56. My target when / if I go long will be the low $70 range. Ideas, not investing / trading advice.
As you can see on my chart I have a very small position in this (IPO's can have wild swings). I plan on adding on a close over $31 (it crossed $31 as I'm writing this). $AMWL is in the tele-health space and sells software to that end. Their sales were up over 90% last quarter and are expected to continue to grow. They have yet to make a profit. Ideas, not...
One can draw lines anywhere you like on a chart. Since that is the case, I thought I'd post this to make a record of my thoughts. While drawing lines on a chart can help identify support and resistance, they can also help in evaluating if a hypothesis is true. I think we are in a secular Bull Market and that the recent pull back is simply a run of the mill...
I'm looking to go long, in strong market, if / when $NFLX regains the 50 which is not far away. I'm hopeful it can close over that today. TBD Ideas, not Investing / Trading advice
I put a trade on this last week and was stopped out rather quickly. (I'm not giving my entries much room on the downside right now.) $CRM looks to have broken out again from this descending wedge. However, I want this to clear the $250 level before I consider an entry. Market will also need to be good. Ideas, Not Investing / Trading advice.
$ADBE broke above the down trend line yesterday. It looks to me as though it is going to continue to move up for the short term here. My entry $491.00, with a stop below today's low (all my trades right now have a very short leash). My 1st target is the daily resistance level of $506.00. If it can push thru that I'm looking at $535.00... All TBD. Idea's not...
As you can see by my notes I have a starter position in this name. It has good fundamentals and is showing a lot of strength in this market. 71% sales growth last quarter and 31% sales growth last 3 years! I am a little underwater on this but I gave it more room than usual because it is an IPO. I'd look for this to move to ATHs if / when the market starts to push...
