SPY creating a possible double bear flag to drop us to the 200 day sma
Watching a possible bear flag pattern forming on SPY. Pattern will be confirmed Monday if we see follow through.
A new bearish divergence has shown up on the hourly charts.
Red box- impulsive selling into the close, with higher volume.
Watching a possible new trendline in SPY. Looking for one more test of it to confirm the line. If this line is confirmed, follow it with for a 2%-4% correction.
Watch for a correction in the S&P soon, as it is officially overbought and is about to hit resistance as it breaks the rising wedge.
SPY ended the week at a large long term support turned resistance line. Next week will be interesting to see if we break resistance or start a substantial pullback.
There is a possible cup and handle showing up in ACB. Watch for a small consolidation period before a larger push to the upside.
CGC has been stuck in a short term descending triangle. By the end of the month i'm looking to see a breakout.
SPY broke the rising wedge yesterday and is backtesting the trendline today. The backtest has clearly failed and has caused almost a percent drop from today's open.
QQQ might have broken out of the uptrend channel today. Watch for a leg lower in the premarket tomorrow with support around $156.80. NASDAQ:QQQ
IWM has hit long term resistance at $144 and bounced down off it. This looks to be setting the stage for a reversal, at least in the short term, Tuesday. Be careful out there, as the markets have been trading sideways for a week now.
DIA broke out of the uptrend channel today with slightly higher selling volume at the days close. Watch for a pullback in the premarket tomorrow with possible intraday support at $236. EURONEXT:DIA
SPY is in a tricky situation here. Currently it is stuck in a short term ascending channel. The breakdown point could be any day now as the daily Stoch and RSI are reaching overbought levels.
