Perhaps LTC is reaching the breakout stage in a coiling process? There is a recent crossover in the MACD lines, but there have been a couple of those that came to nothing in the past two hours. BTCUSD seems to be following a downtrend begun on the 17th December. Barring the effects of any forthcoming market news events, the apparent coiling associated with that downtend could continue, breaking sometime before the 14th February. The EURUSD looks like it is currently in a downward channel that began in 2008, but if it is following the pattern it did fifteen years ago, then if the Euro breaks the resistance line at 1.24 during the next few months, it could go on to rise by 25% over the following twelve months, 35% over two years, and 60% over five years.
