As illustrated on our chart we can see NAS becoming exhausted and upward momentum is dying off. We also can observe some large bearish divergences on our RSI which typically can indicate where the market is headed next. XAUUSD had an intense US session as eyes were on the Jackson Hole Symposium. The DXY along with gold soared while European currencies took a dip. While a move to 1926 is definitely in the cards, I wouldn't be shocked to see a small retracement down to the indicated fib level before returning bullish in the Asian and London session. This is just merrily a short term idea as the Jackson Hole Symposium will begin taking place tomorrow and has a high probability of creating volatile market swings. Overall on the medium to higher timeframe I still have a bearish bias. This week will be interesting as we have a lot of market news being released. As of right now I believe this could be a good...
