I had some dumb takes over the past year.
Overall though i think i did pretty good, especially in comparison with the competition.
Most of the takes on this chart were at the complete opposite of the consensus.
It's not that i enjoy being a contrarian, but experience has proven to me time and time again that following the crowd will get you wrecked. Hive mind is dumb as fuck.
People's need to be part of the crowd far exceeds their ability to assess objectively a situation.
Fun fact : despite all these great takes, I gained literally zero followers over the last year.
There's probably many reason to that. One of them being that people are excessively bullish at the top (and like bullish tweets at the top) and vice versa at the bottom.
Being correctly bearish at the top and bullish at the bottom will give you zero clout, only getting ridiculed at the top and hated at the bottom. So, being correct will get you only negativity tbh.
I'm doing this for now, but there's literally zero reward in there for me. I'll probably stop at some point.
