Bull outlook: If the gold price can effectively break through the historical high of $3148.85 and stand firm, it may open up the upward space to $3200. Factors supporting this trend include geopolitical tensions, global economic growth concerns and the continued increase in gold reserves by central banks of various countries.
Short outlook: The technical indicators are fully overbought, indicating that the risk of short-term correction is accumulating. Once Trump's tariff policy is implemented, the market may see the phenomenon of "buying expectations and selling facts", leading to profit-taking. In addition, if the US economic data performs strongly, it may suppress the gold price. In the short term, the gold price may pull back to around $3072 to seek support.

In the long run, although it may face a correction in the short term, fundamental factors still support gold. Global inflation concerns, monetary policy shifts in major economies and geopolitical uncertainties will continue to provide upward momentum for gold prices, but we need to be wary of the risk of shock adjustments after too rapid price increases.
In terms of price, the current main support level of spot gold is around $3110 (visible in the 4-hour chart), corresponding to the rising trend line position. If this position is broken, the next support area is around 3072. The upper resistance level is first at $3148.94 (historical high), and after breaking through, it will challenge the round mark of $3200.
