Daily Settlement (BM&FBOVESPA B3 FUTURES)This script is simple designed to plot the daily settlement to any Securities traded on B3, Brazilian stock exchange.
The daily settlement is an important price where position traders are adjusted every day. This adjustment is defined by the exchange itself every day at approximately 4 pm, with an average of all trades in this window.
We consider that the settlement is a region of "money spent", where every day, some player "woke up" in long or in short at that price. As this is a region of "money spent", traders should give significant attention when traded at this price.

B3 PSAR v4This is an update to Pinescript version 4 for one of my oldest indicators, Parabolic Stop and Reverse.
The indicator math and algorithm has not been modified, but the stylization and usage has improved.
Added:
Bar-coloring = User sets the up and down colors in user interface style menu.
Inputs = The two inputs' up-down arrows now increment by thousandths & hundredths respectively. This is a vast improvement! Just leave the UI up when fishing for a value and watch the chart change.
Alerts!!! = Set your alerts to "B3 PSAR" then "Any alert() function call" in your Alerts User Interface; and you can also quickly turn alerts on/off in the PSAR indicator's UI.
Important Note:
TradingView has a version of PSAR, and you may find other scripters make the indicator as well.
People make claims on what math or algorithm is correct and what were Wilder's intentions for the indicator.
I am not interested in the theory, MY VERSION OF PSAR MATCHES OTHER PLATFORMS' CHART RESULTS for their native PSAR (Tradestation, TOS, etc). ;-)
Text copied from the obsolete posts:
Version 1 notes:
I have seen Parabolic SAR done several ways in the past and on several platforms. I have a few trailing systems I use to have a time-affected stop, meaning that as time goes, the way the stop works changes. In this method, you have a stop starting off of the high or low at the time of the cross of the previous stop, giving you a binary flipping agent. I like the usage of this system upon trendy action, however, in sideways action, the indicator flips back and forth with no pertinence. The flat lines represent the last price that was crossed, and as the PSAR crosses the line you essentially lock in profits in the trend.
Version 2 notes:
The minimum value inputs for acceleration and limiter inputs have been set to zero, by P.M. request.
B3 HL2MA Painter ~ Extremely Smooth Average & Bar PaintMy HL2MA is a 'proprietary' formula based on the idea that I never again want to see a jagged average line. I released a version of this a long time ago, but I wanted to update it to how I have it on my charts in other platforms. Here are some notes about this moving average script:
The default input value is 5, and I suggest the range of use 4-6 with the rare occasion of using 3 or 7.
For me 5 is what I use UNLESS I AM IN A TRADE, then I might switch to 4 if I have some profits to lock, or 6 if I want to stay in for a lengthier trade.
This average when kept within the above parameters is the smoothest MA in my arsenal, HL2 refers to the middle of the candles which further de-noises the line.
The colors are green/red for good movement with the confirmed trend.
The colors are gray for movement against the current trend (signaling a possible mean reversion)
The colors blue & yellow appear when signaling possible chop or trend exhaustion.
Carried forward from the last time I posted this, the bias for longs and shorts is depicted as the color of the average line green or maroon, and ALERTS are based on that overall bias created the line by itself.
Also carried from the last post, the green and maroon clouds depict the price deviance from the line; when the cloud stretches wide it may be time to take profits and enter back in closer to the line.
Thanks again for liking and following!!!!

B3 Stochastic Full w/BarColorNow with Bar Color!
The simplest upgrade to the classic indicator, old script:
B3 Stochastic Full
Also, if you like this one you may appreciate my personally modified take on the stochastic readings:
B3 Extended Stochastics
B3 3-Stox - Scalping OscillatorThis is an indicator that combines what I see some scalpers use on youtube videos and webinars.
3 Stox = Three Stochastic Readings
Fast Stochastic of Highs
Fast Stochastic of Lows
Slow Stochastic of Bar Average
Bar Color Code
Bar Color Coded
Light Green = Long with trend
Dark Green = Long counter trend
Light Red = Short with trend
Dark Red = Short counter trend
Fast Line Color Code
Green = Lows leading highs up (Organized Rise)
Olive = Highs leading lows up (Rapid Rise)
Red = Highs leading lows down (Organized Fall)
Fuchsia = Lows leading lows down (Rapid Fall)
Trades to be looked at:
Trading in the direction of the fast lines, when they are similar to and near one another, in the same direction as the Slow stochastic line's color or slope
Trading Long Fastline green color when all 3 lines are oversold
Trading Short Fastline red color when all 3 lines are overbought
AVOID Trading when fast lines are spread out and a large cloud appears between them (Chop Filter)
Look for solid up & down & up & etc. oscillation or you can use the slow line to find trends to trade
Green and red fast lines are organized moves, the olive and purple lines are faster moves and harder to lock in sometimes
Things to note:
Pairs nicely with a level printing study like B3 Level Break (applied on above chart)
There are 2 color schemes for the Fast High and Low Stochastic lines, and 2 color schemes for the bars
In this script the bar average is defined as (open+high+low+close+close ) / 5, keep the slow line at a large length input so that you can get a macro trend reading without zooming out the chart
The Extended Stochastics from one of my previous scripts is defaulted as the style used, however, you may turn that feature off and use the classic Stochastics

B3 Clear Method Streak CountAbout Clear Method -- to repeat my prior post on the bar painter script:
This indicator is translated out of Technical Analysis of Stocks & Commodities , September 2010, (I take zero design credit). The script simply looks for the price action to break or "clear" the most recent action, and only changes the paintbar color if the action indeed clears the previous candles. Simple to use, just add to your chart from your favorites and change the colors in the UI. It does the rest.
This version can replace my previous Clear Method Bar Painter as it also paints the bars.
What is different is this share is a lower study that counts the streak of the bars shown via histogram.
The way to use the streak is to notice the previous streaks and get a sense of how long the current trend is lasting versus prior trends of the same direction.
@Tradestation recently posted their "price streak" study, and this one is quite similar in nature.
Enjoy, the code open to view,

B3 FisherTransformThis is the indicator from the trading strategy I posted recently. I do like Fisher Transform a lot on day bar charts. However, the smaller you go in bar interval, the less I feel it is as usable. At that point, any oscillator will usually do. When comparing the slope of the line and direction to the chart price action using day bars, I get a great sense of when to enter into a swing.
The indicator is often earlier to turn than other indicators, therefor, occasionally a trade may take a day to 3 days to start moving well in the desired direction, but it is never late which is very nice!
Use in conjunction with your support and resistance levels to find great entry points on reversals.
Use in conjunction with moving averages to find the reentry into a continuing trend.
Features include bar paint, zero line, and adjustable deviation values to target trend continuation and possible max oscillation reversal trades.
Enjoy! ~B3 d^.^b
B3 FisherTransform TraderB3 Fisher Transform Trader ~ As you may have found, Fisher Transform (FT) is not an easy beast to tame. However, I have never seen an indicator so consistently early to a move, so, I had to pry into it some more. I tend to stick with indicators that work on many symbols and time-frames, but FT isn't one of them. For starters, I only had a small amount of success in back-tests and only with stocks not futures. I did find however that when set to 9-10 and tightly trailed with a signal average and then put to a intermediate chart like 2h to day bars, it seems to have a nice sweet space in back-tests. I found this to work in multiple platforms, and after plenty of testing, I came up with a few personal tweaks to the indicator. Then walking forward the tests have played out like the back-testing, which is key!
Each symbol you trade will have a sweet spot bar interval in that intermediate area, so long as you keep the input setting to 9-10 for the FT and 2-3 for the signal average length. You are welcome to test well beyond these parameters . :)
Here is a quick view of the success the system has had trading AAPL in binary long or short at all times fashion over the last 10 years.

B3 Extended StochasticB3 Extended Stochastic ~ This is my personal take on the standard "Stochastic Full" study that most platforms natively carry. However, this is slightly more powerful. The simple difference is that in a normal stochastic indicator, 0 and 100 are the minimum and maximum values. Here there is no min/max, hence the title "Extended Stochastic." When extended beyond 0 or 100, this tells you if you're expanding range (breaking out), and often the stochastic turns that are beyond the 0 or 100 lines tend to be more juicy than normal stochastic overage turns. There is still the classic 20/80 over-lines, and they still carry their full validity in this script. Think of extended range as additional information and not a remaking of the indicator. You will find it quite successful in oscillation, but as always, oscillators struggle in long running trends.

B3 Least Squares Regression - "Price Leading MovAvg"B3 Least Squares Regression or "LSR" is very similar to the mid-line at the end of a linear regression channel, except that in a linear regression you cannot see the history of the regression well. There is also the linear regression and least squares curves in some platforms, and this would also be a similar indicator. The smoothness of my indicator and the back-to-basics approach to the mathematics sets it apart from the others. The look of this MA on a chart speaks for itself.
Some people like the flow of this indicator, as it will actually shoot out ahead of price. Most moving averages trail the price action; this one doesn't do that for long before it catches price or begins to lead price. It isn't necessarily a future price predictor; think of it as a slope stylist. The slope of this indicator determines all painting and signals for the strategy. There are two available versions: with or without order placement.

B3 HL2 Method Candle PainterThis script is similar to the "Hi-Lo" or "Clear" methods of painting bars. Instead of using the tips/edges of the candles like those two, the "(H+L)/2" method uses the change in (high+low)/2 to paint the bars. This gives you some similar results if you were to be binary with the candle coloring. However, my coloring scheme is not entirely binary. There are 5 possible colors:
HL2>LastHigh = Bright Green
HL2LastHL2 = Dull Green
HL2<LastHL2 = Dull Red
Bar Change (close - open) is going against the indicator = Gray

Trend via K.I.S.S. ~ B3
B3 Level_BreakUsable on any style chart, B3_Level_Break is simply a breakout play off the highest high or lowest low of a period. What makes this script slightly different is that it looks forward and backward for the pivotal point. This line is then carried forward with time decay; they will either erase with time, or erase when crossed by price. So many traders young and old like to draw price level lines, and this indicator certainly helps the lazy person do this.
Hedge Fund firms and trading groups around the market use indicators like this one to bring awareness to the last time price failed to reach further. When these levels are approached again, the cloud-fill will highlight the break outs, but a firm trader isn't always trading the breakout. What a good trader will do is look at the Level 3 data and the Time & Sales to determine if the story of supply and demand is pointing to a breakout, or a reversal (like a double-top or double-bottom).
I have automated this strategy to some varying degrees of success, avoiding the range reversal trades. Like any trend finding indicator, a rangy day will be tough to find a good signal from it. However, if you find range with no breakouts in this indicator, an oscillator of your choosing would be appropriate to trade the reversals within the ranges.
On a NQ1! 5m chart I have been using a length of anywhere from 7 to 16, (higher length gets you out of noise). The higher in interval you go, the less length you likely need. I have been looking at Stochastic turns at OVB OVS in combination with stocks breaking out on this indicator length set to 3 with interval Day or 4-6hr charts. Its a good catch for fading an earnings dip or bump after the call, or simply a confirming entry on the old school stochastic swing trade.
It has been some time since I have made a post. I will continue to post anything I find useful. It's best in the market to find things that work and stick with them, so it should make sense that I don't post as often. Enjoy !! :)
B3_HL2MAB3_HL2MA is a super smoothed mean of medians. This moving average is a great trend switch mechanism with a bit of a knack for showing mean deviation and reversion. If your clouds get to be large, you are probably ripe for taking the profits. Often the MA comes to meet price, so the reversion trade isn't what this indicator is all about. Enter on the cross or turn of the line, and exit on major deviations from the line if you can time them. This makes for a decent way to help stay in the trend. The line turns dark blue as in the case that a trend is compromised by price action, otherwise stay in the direction of teal = long and maroon = short.
The length on this is very sensitive, and a smaller number is the best; the four to six range is usually the best for that input. I made the math for this indicator myself from a simple idea to use the median price of the bar, and then average that out, and afterwards smoothed per my style. It has become one of only a couple MA based indicators I will use. Enjoy! :) ~B3

B3 Edge Trail-TraderAnswer to the locked strategy... Formerly "High-Low Trader" .. Changed the name to Edge Trail Trader to delineate from the locked version, which is no different. You can add this one to your favorites now.
Similar to SuperTrend or the ATR trailing stop lines that are common-place in chart indicator circles, the B3 High-Low Trail-Trader works as a back-break line to flip binary long and short biasing. Here is the strategy set to 7 bars back. You can find this style of trading system in several books, and there are many ways to come to the trailing stop line, so I imagine the bars back length can be slid around to suit certain charts. This happens to be my favorite trailing line.
B3 AutoEdgeBreak FibonacciHere is the lazy person's Fibonacci retracement drawing machine. Keep the bars in range pretty big, but you can play around and see what it does. If too small, it gets in your way, and If oversized, your retracements will not properly work upward and downward according to action. So, if you notice that it's always retracing the same direction, then lower the first input.
Now on top of the coding being tricky because of massive history in T-view, trading the Fibs is not an easy task either. Experienced Fib traders will probably love my script, and those that are not good at Fibs will love the historical look of it, but feel helpless in real-time. It took me years to learn a reaction pattern to the Fib lines, and the one key piece of my memory: if a price-line test comes and fails in relation to your trade, get out!!! <- Not real advice, just experience talking.
I expect to be upgrading this particular script in the future. Enjoy!
B3 Donchian CloudsThis is the Donchian Channel expressed with a percentage cloud. Default 12.5% of the range will be filled at each edge, this helps to show reversal possibilities as price returns to the area between the clouds. This offers a usage to essentially fade the turtle trader system. That system is loosely based on the playing of the breakouts of the the channel... as you can see the that last turtle trade long in YM1! was and is off the charts awesome. I will look for the fall out of the cloud to short the market.
B3 20/50 MeanSimple MA's 20 and 50 are averaged to produce a mean MA line. I like the smoothness of it, and it can help you stay in a trade in the slow moving trends. Also if you start to see a large cloud in your favor, it could be a great time take the profits.
B3 Stochastic FullA colorful take on the classic stochastic indicator, coded from scratch. Enjoy! :)
B3 Edge TrailB3 Edge Trail is similar to a SuperTrend or ATR stopline system. It is based on the average of the highs and lows, and when back-broken, the binary bias flips. Simple as pie to use, just set your input to whatever suits your chart. The more "bars back" length the less flipping, then if you lower that input number it will result in an increase in sensitivity.
Enjoy, and now that TradingView has made it easy to do, I will be offering access to the strategies I have made based on my indicators. These will be available on the web eventually.
B3 High-Low Trail-TraderSimilar to SuperTrend or the ATR trailing stop lines that are common-place in chart indicator circles, the B3 High-Low Trail-Trader works as a back-break line to flip binary long and short biasing. Here is the strategy set to 7 bars back. You can find this style of trading system in several books, and there are many ways to come to the trailing stop line, so I imagine the bars back length can be slid around to suit certain charts. This happens to be my favorite trailing line.
