Gator RibbonThere's nothing fancy here--I just like the look of this one. And it works pretty well. This started out as the standard Alligator indicator. There I reset all the offsets to 0 and added an Ichimoku Cloudish fill.
Astute observers will notice a fourth line has been added at 34 SMA. It's a bit of a cheat. 34 SMA is the zero line of another classic B. Williams indicator, the Awesome Oscillator. When the green line crosses over 34 SMA, it's quite likely the Awesome Oscillator will have changed sentiment as well. It also makes a nice loose trailing stop loss reference if you're hoping to get into some long trends.

Fractals | Swing Points | Highs & Lows | Custom PeriodsSimple script which marks out key swing highs & lows.
One of the only indicators I have on the chart most days
- perfect for naked charting
- quickly helps you to visually identify key areas of interest
An extension of Bill Williams fractals
- aka short term swing points
Allows you to filter for only the most prominent swing points
- you can even overlay multiple swingpoint filters in different colours (as per example chart)
The number ( Fractal Periods) is simply:
- the number of less prominent points either side of your swing high/low
- example shown on the chart
Otherwise make a fist
- look at your 5 knuckles
- swing high is your middle knuckle
- 2 lower points either side
Bill Williams Original Fractal:
Fractal Periods = 2
Your Fractal Period for Filtering:
3, 4, 5, 30, 365, etc
Allows you to find swing points down to:
Fractal Periods = 1
Simple, easy, shared to enjoy =)
Fibonacci RainbowThis indicator is inspired by Bill William's Alligator .
Taken 7 Fibonacci numbers, painted in the colors of the rainbow and highlighted when the rainbow fan is up or down.
Enhanced Williams %RThe Enhanced Williams %R Indicator was created by Robert J Kinder Jr (Stocks & Commodities V5:5 (180-182)) and is based on the Williams %R Indicator. It takes volume into account and the buy and sell signals are pretty much the same. I would recommend to buy when the indicator is over the signal and if you want a confirmation then also make sure the signal is above 0. Sell if it falls below the signal or if the signal goes below 0 or of course buy or sell when the indicator goes into overbought or oversold territory.
I'm still tinkering with this indicator and it is the first time I have seen this indicator script published so let me know if you have any suggestions for me.
And of course let me know if you would like me to write indicators for you or anything else you would like to see!
Ribbon_Arshiin this indicator
moving average 20-25-30-35-40-50-100-200 with fractal added to the chart.
Accelerator Oscillator DivergencesDiscover divergences found by the Accelerator Oscillator indicator.
Williams Fractal Trailing StopsUnlike the built-in version, you can configure how many bars it takes to confirm a fractal. This indicator plots all Williams high and low fractals, and a stop line that trails the fractals up and down. Includes long and short stop alerts. You can choose whether the trail flips long-short based on the price being exceeded within a candle or on candle close. This indicator deals only with fractals and doesn't get into the Alligator or anything else.
I've commented it extensively, so that it might be useful for people learning Pinescript. Enjoy!
Indicator: Price Weight Oscillator [xQT5]This is my revision of AO (Awesome Oscillator) that can give more correct and early signals as on my opinion.
I'm used a original formula of AO and modified it with high and low prices adding.
Enjoy it!
Bias And Sentiment Strength (BASS) Indicator by mattzabBias And Sentiment Strength (BASS) Indicator is designed to be a quick visualization as to the market strength.
Pair with Alligator, MACD, or Moving Average lines on your chart for good results.
How to use this indicator:
Blue above 0 is positive sentiment, red below 0 is negative sentiment.
If you have blue above and red below, be cautious! The Bass is telling you that we have a battle between the Bulls and the Bears!
The purple bars are your volume bias. Volume bias can be positive or negative, despite the direction of the overall trend. Positive Volume Bias along with Bullish Blue Sentiment is a great sign! Go Long! If you have Bullish Sentiment and have a negative Volume Bias, be cautious! Price may not be moving with much conviction, and may be subject to reversal!
This is basically several different histograms overlaying one another, and they are blue above 0 and red below 0.
MACD Histogram - Standard MACD Histogram here.
RSI Histogram - This is a standard RSI. It has been adjusted to "oscillate" above and below zero, which would be the 50 line on a normal RSI chart.
Slow Stochastic Histogram - This is a slow stochastic with a 21 Period K, 14 Period D, and 14 Smoothing K. The "oscillator" histogram is formed by subtracting K from D.
Awesome Oscillator - This is a standard Awesome Oscillator
Alligator Oscillator - This is formed by adding (lips + teeth) + (teeth - jaw)
Volume Bias - The Volume Bias is displayed as purple bars, and is calculated by a highly sophisticated and complex algorithmic function called subtraction. It's just the 30 Period Volume-Weighted Moving Average Minus the 30 Simple Moving Average.
Enjoy!
Momentum Sentiment Indicator by mattzabThis indicator uses 3 moving averages and includes volume to display sentiment and momentum.
By default, a 5, 8, and 13 SMA is displayed (black lines).
The colored bands are the corresponding volume weighted moving averages.
When the colored band is above the black line, sentiment is bullish.
Think of the color as being a show of volume, and the black lines as support and resistance.
When the lines are trending up, and colors are above the black lines, an uptrend is in progress.
When the colors are mixed above and below, and the lines are intertwined, it is a ranging market.
The lines operate similar to the Williams Alligator.
MultiTimeFrame Fractals D W M [xdecow]This indicator shows fractals in different timeframes. With the possibility of coloring the bars with any combination of current, daily, weekly and monthly timeframes.
The return points are calculated as follows:
high > last 3 highs and close above highest low
low < last 3 lows and closes below lowest high
The direction of higher timeframes fractals tend to be more durable and reliable. This indicator helps to find the fractal alignment of different timeframes, so that you can look for trade opportunities in the same direction as the higher timeframes and improve your chances.
Open Interest Market Facilitation IndexOriginal script from ChartChampions :
Let's start.
This script was created by using Open Interest instead of Volume in the Market Facilitation Index.
Thus, it can make a difference in the Future and CFD Markets.
If your financial instrument is not from these markets, that is, if Open Interest is not used, you can choose Volume.
You can set "FUTURES" and "OTHERS" from the menu.
If you use the Open Interest (FUTURES) option in the menu on 1W bars and defined Future markets, it will not repaint.
This is the best use for Open Interests, as data is extracted from Quandl and CFTC COT reports are published once a week.
Color Change Rules :
In my version :
Green Bars = Green
Fade Bars = Orange
Fake Bars = Blue
Squat Bars = Red
To show the difference in the presentation, both the Futures option using Open Interest and the Others option using Volume were published to compare.
You can observe the difference.
Best regards.
BEST ABCD Pattern ScreenerHello ladies and gentlemen traders
Continuing deeper and stronger with the screeners' educational series one more time.
This one is heavy crazy mega cool (pardon my french).
I - Concept
I present to you, ladies and gentlemen, the first screener for harmonic patterns.
Starting with an ACBD pattern screener this time!!
I used the calculations from Ricardo Santo's script
In short, he's using fractals (regular or Bill Williams ) for the pattern calculations. A masterpiece !!!
The screener will show in 1 consolidated chart the ABCD patterns for 5 selected assets. Could be stocks, forex, crypto, whatever you feel like making money with
II - Definitions
The ABCD pattern ( AB=CD ) is one of the classic chart patterns which is repeated over and over again.
The ABCD pattern shows perfect harmony between price and time.
More info here
The Williams Fractal is an indicator, developed by Bill Williams, that aims to detect reversal points (highs and lows) and marks them with arrows.
Up fractals and down fractals have specific shapes. The Williams Fractal indicator helps users determine in which direction price will develop
Source: www.tradingview.com
III - How did I set the screener
The visual signals are as follow:
- square: whenever there is an ABCD pattern detected
Then the colors are:
- green when a bullish pattern is detected
- red when a bearish pattern is detected
🔸 The script screenshot shows two red squares matching two ABCD bearish pattern from the above panel. As the chart is showing APPL, I highlighted where the screener mentioned the fruit stock ( APPLE, pun, bad joke, Dave out...)
🔸 I tried to make it as clear as I could with red arrows
Once again, we pushed together the limits of pine script beyond of what we thought was possible, beyond the realm of this world, reaching finally the dreamt pine script heaven (am I going too far? feel free to tell me)
Best regards,
Dave
FilthyIchiEMAXIchiEMAX has been backtested giving some great results, using Ichimoku and a mix of EMA'S/SMA .
I use this for both Cryptocurrency and Forex Trading.
Ema/SmaX system i have studied and have found it is giving me the results i want very similar to all the wave trend indicators being used currently. I have now adde buy/sell signals on crosses and williams fractal.
Williams Fractals - 3 or 5 Bar Wanted to give a user the option to choose between the original 5 bars in the Williams Fractal or 3 bars.
Zenith BladeThis script is based heavily on "Support/Resistance Zones x3" by Lij_MC
What I did is went and added alerts for when price breakouts the support line/zone.
You have the options to change if it is based on a zone breakout or a line breakout
You also can choose when it will go off, so for example you want an alert to trigger only between 7am and 8am then you can change that in the menu.
Lastly you can choose whither or not to show the Williams Alligator on the chart as I have found it beneficial in conjunction with the script since its based primarily on fractals to calculate Support and Resistance.
Williams Fractal (equals fixed)In contrast to the default Williams Fractal generator, this one also shows fractals if the two candles before or after are equal (>=, <=).
[OBV] [MACD] [Accelerator/Awesome Oscillator] + PivDiv 2Here is an indicator with 4 options:
- OBV
- MACD (uses default EMA, you can change this to SMA)
- AC
- AO
All accompanied with my "Divergences (Pivots)" with 3 settings:
- 'Long Period', default checks 19 bars to the Left (="History") and 1 bar to the Right (="Future")
- 'Medium Period', default checks 14 bars to the Left (="History") and 1 bar to the Right (="Future")
- 'Short Period', default checks 9 bars to the Left (="History") and 1 bar to the Right (="Future")
When choosing an indicator, it comes with their accompanying "Divergences"!
Each Bar checks an amount of Bars at the Left (="History") and Bars to the Right (="Future"), insuring this particular Bar is the Highest or Lowest of them all at "close",
this is compared to the or or and so we have our Divergences.
There is always a slight delay (number of Bar(s) at the Right side (="Future")
If you like a setting, where the amount of “RightBars” equals the ”LeftBars” you can enable the " > Only change 'LeftBars'" button.
Then you only have to adjust the amount of “LeftBars” and the amount of “RightBars” automatically will be the same.
Bullish divergences are "Green"
- 'Short' - 'Medium' "period" > "▲"
- 'Long' "period" > "⇧"
Bearish divergences are "Red"
- 'Short' - 'Medium' "period" > "▼"
- 'Long' "period" > "⇩"
Hidden divergences ( Bullish and Bearish ) are:
- 'Short' - 'Medium' "period" > "▲▼" - "White"
- 'Long' "period" > "⬆︎⬇︎" - "Yellow"
Since for me, at this moment, it is impossible to let this indicator work as our eyes work, it will miss sometimes. I've tried to solve this by putting 3 different "Periods",
but it is not perfect, so look at it as an aiding tool, a "hint" so you can look in detail if there is something of importance or not.
What also helps is to switch timeframes.
For example on a 1 hour chart a "Highest" point can be missed sometimes, but could be perfectly visible on a 2 or 4 hour chart.
Also, try to change the numbers in a way that suits you the best.
Enjoy!
