The Corporate and Treasury segment refers to financial results related to cost of own capital attributed to commercial activities, in addition to financial results of typical treasury activities, such as management of currency gap, rates and other arbitrage risks in foreign and domestic markets and results in managing proprietary positions, as well as other costs and corporate results such as provisions for contingencies and indirect costs of activities, redistributing such costs to the commercial area. The company was founded on December 27, 1983 and is headquartered in Sao Paulo, Brazil.
