Faisal Islamic Bank of Egypt engages in the provision of retail and corporate banking and investment services. Its operates through following segments: Large, Medium & Small Enterprises, Investment, Individuals and Other Activities. The Large, Medium & Small Enterprises segment handles current accounts, deposits, debited current accounts, finance and investment transactions, and financial derivatives. The Investment segment deals with mergers, purchase of investments, and financing companies restructuring and financial instruments. The Individuals segment includes savings accounts, saving pools, deposits, personal Murabaha, and property Murabaha. The Other Activities segment comprises of other banking activities, such as funds management services. The company was founded by Mohammed Al-Faisal Al-Saud on August 1, 1977 and is headquartered in Cairo, Egypt.
