WASKO SA provides information technology services. It operates through the following segments: Infrastructure Investments, Commercial Activity, IT Systems and Programming Services, IT Services, and Other Services. The Infrastructure Investments segment engages in the development of broadband backbones, base transceiver stations, and radio communications centers. The Commercial Activity segment sells computer equipment. The IT Systems and Programming Services segment designs and implements systems for telecommunications companies, industry, and public administration. The IT Services segment provides development and implementation of IT infrastructure projects. The Other Services segment pertains to maintenace services of security and measuring systems, auditing as well as lease of property. The company was founded by Wojciech Wajda on February 18, 1988 and is headquartered in Gliwice, Poland.
