It operates through the following segments: Renewables and Field Development, Life Cycle, and Other. The Renewables and Field Development segment represents the projects within offshore wind power, green onshore, and the market for traditional oil and gas platforms, onshore facilities, decommissioning, and marine operations. The Life Cycle segment provides optimized field life solutions driven by decarbonization and environmentally sound offerings both for offshore and onshore facilities. The Other segment consists of unallocated corporate costs and the effect of hedges not qualifying for hedge accounting. The company was founded in 1841 and is headquartered in Lysaker, Norway.
