Engro Corp. Ltd. is a holding company, which provides end-to-end solutions to its consumers. The company engages in fertilizers, Poly Vinyl Chloride (PVC) resin manufacturing and marketing, food, energy, liquefied natural gas (LNG) and chemical terminal and storage. It operates through the following segments: Fertilizer, Polymer, Terminal, Power & Mining, Connectivity & Telecom, and Other Operations. The Fertilizer segment engages in manufacturing, purchasing and marketing of fertilizers. The Polymer segment engages in manufacturing, marketing and selling of PVC, PVC compounds, caustic soda and related chemicals. The Terminal segment includes operating and maintaining integrated liquid chemical terminal and storage farm, and LNG terminal for receipt, storage and regasification of LNG. The Power & Mining segment includes power generation, distribution, transmission, and sale of electricity. The Connectivity & Telecom segment includes buying, building, maintaining and operating telecommunication infrastructure and ancillary products and services. The Other Operations segment operates terminal for handling, regasification, storage, treatment, and processing of LNG and related petroleum products. The company was founded in 1957 and is headquartered in Karachi, Pakistan.
