Masraf Al-Rayan QSC engages in the provision of Islamic banking, financing, investing, and brokerage activities. It operates through the following segments: Corporate Banking, Retail Banking, Treasury and Financial Institutions, Asset Management, and International Operations. The Corporate Banking segment offers an extensive range of Islamic funded and non-funded credit facilities, deposit services, investment advisory, currency exchange facilities, profit rate swaps, financing syndication and other services to corporate, commercial, and multinational customers. The Retail Banking segment provides investment accounts services, credit card and Islamic financing to retail and individual customers. The Treasury and Financial Institutions segment deals with the Group’s funding and centralized risk management activities. The Asset Management segment refers to portfolio management and the development of investment products and investment placement business. The International Operations segment includes financing assets, deposits and other products and services with corporate and individual customers. The company was founded on January 4, 2006 and is headquartered in Lusail, Qatar.
