A Renko Strategy for Trading - Part 2This is intended more as educational material on a strategy for using renko charts. To begin with, I'll be using USOil in the examples but will include other markets as I continue through the series. The material is not intended to prescribe or recommend actual trades as the decision to place trades is the responsibility of each individual who trades as they assume all risks for their own positions and accounts.

Keep the read simpleKeeping it simple with less noise will help you determine a general trend of pricetime and where it's headed. By using different candles, indicators and Gann angle relationships, you might be able to see a clearer picture outside your bias and belief of what a stock is going to do.
Did this help. Let me know. I love feedback...

A SMA pair that still being the most profitable for 13 years!Hey there!
This is an example of how you can improve and simplify your trading decisions using algorithmic approaches.
Watching this video you can see that SMA 15/16 crossover trading system still being the most profitable combination for the last 13 years on daily AUDCAD.
The most profitable combination of the periods was obtained using Profitable SMA Crossover . You can see this indicator below the price chart. What is intresting is that it uses a decision tree-based algorithm under the hood to find and plot the most profitable SMA combination and that makes it stand out from other technical analysis indicators.
As I promised, this year I will work a lot on optimizing classical indicators and strategies.
Good luck and Happy Trading!
USDJPYUJ further longs are in order. there are 3 factors of confluence that support this idea. the first and most important being the trend {uptrend}, the Second being the moving averages {looking at the daily chart, the market formed a bullish rejection candle on the 8 SMA line} and the third being the trend
line that it bounced off on Tuesday evening
EURUSD Setting Up for a Daily Move DownIs EU telling us where it is going to be heading in the year coming? Looking at an On-Trend Continuation in the current area. 61 & 38 Confluence on the 1.15 Mantle, wicks out to the top, Previous Price Reversal Area, 3-4th Loose
hit on the Downtrend line, 100EMA floating across the top. Very nice set-up, possibly for the first half of the year.
Sneak Peek: Intelligent Moving Average (AI)Here is the first sneak peak of the beta-version Intelligent Moving Average (AI).
Remember, this is currently the ONLY intelligent indicator on TradingView and any other indicator labelled as an "Intelligent" indicator may not be artificially intelligent.
I have been working hard to publish this in a reasonable amount of time and I should be done with it within the next couple of days (or less.)
Thanks for all of the kind messages and support.
HULL Moving Average StrategyThis is my strategy based off the Hull Moving Average, created by Alan Hull.
www.fidelity.com
The HMA is extremely fast and accurate in determining price reversals - I exploit this quality and add the ability to select a granular TimeFrame to use for the HMA calculations (ranging from 1m to 1D). The HMA can be painted on any TimeFrame. When the HMA indicates a price reversal, the strategy waits for the current candle to close before entering a trade.
Target profits and losses can easily be set, as well as: Leverage, % to risk per trade, trailing stop entry point, trailing stop offset, Spread, Commission, and more!
The indicator works on any currency pair (excluding metals) and as low as the 5m timeframe.
Looking for feedback on an indicator I'm developingI've been working on an indicator to help me out with swing trades and buying the right dips, and knowing when to sit out. I'm new to trading and I find that breakout trading isn't the best strategy, and it actually rarely works when we're in a downtrend as we currently are.
So how to have the confidence to know which dips to buy?
Here's a strategy I'm playing around with and I'd love to get your feedback.
Am I missing anything? Are there other indicators with similar strategies you can point me to? Leave a comment and let me know!
Spontaneous Indicator!Hey Friends!
I made this video spontaneously and without any preparation so I am sorry if my explanation was very fragmented.
This is a new indicator I have just made that uses these key factors for a forward projection:
Red Target
1. Price based on average profit of every trade over the entire course of history.
2. Time based on average time in every trade over the entire course of history.
Blue Target
1. Price based on price movement of the most recent 2 trades.
2. Time based on average time in every trade over the entire course of history.
The trades are determined by a moving average crossing of a user-defined period length.
I hope you like the concept.
Publication coming soon!
Intelligent Exponential Moving Average (AI)!Drop a like for more machine learning versions of the top indicators!
I know that I totally didn't keep the video short like I said, but luckily the maximum time for a video is 10 minutes so you didn't have to listen to my blabbing any longer.
Introduction
This indicator uses machine learning (Artificial Intelligence) to solve a real human problem.
The Exponential Moving Average ( EMA ) is one of the most used indicators on the planet, yet no one really knows what pair of exponential moving average lengths works best in combination with each other.
A reason for this is because no two EMA lengths are always going to be the best on every instrument, time-frame, and at any given point in time.
The "Intelligent Exponential Moving Average" solves the moving average problem by adapting the period length to match the most profitable combination of exponential moving averages in real time.
How does the Intelligent Exponential Moving Average work?
The artificial intelligence that operates these moving average lengths was created by an algorithm that tests every single combination across the entire chart history of an instrument for maximum profitability in real-time.
No matter what happens, the combination of these exponential moving averages will be the most profitable.
Can we learn from the Intelligent Moving Average?
There are many lessons to be learned from the Intelligent EMA . Most will come with time as it is still a new concept. Adopting the usefulness of this AI will change how we perceive moving averages to work.
Limitations
Ultimately, there are no limiting factors within the range of combinations that has been programmed. The exponential moving averages will operate normally, but may change lengths in unexpected ways - maybe it knows something we don't?
Thresholds
The range of exponential moving average lengths is between 5 to 40.
Additional coverage resulted in TradingView server errors.
Future Updates!
Soon, I will be publishing tools to test the AI and visualise what moving average combination the AI is currently using.
TradingView's First Intelligent Indicator! The Moving Average is the most used indicator on the planet, yet no one really knows what pair of moving average lengths works best in combination with each other.
A reason for this is because no two moving averages are always going to be the best on every instrument, time-frame, and at any given point in time.
This will no longer be a problem because this free to use indicator will plot only the most profitable pair of moving average on your chart
when it is applied and it will update when a different combination of moving average lengths becomes more profitable .
This will be the first of a series of indicators that self optimise in real-time called the "Intelligent Series (AI)".
If you like this concept, you will like the indicator.
Also, please like this if you wish to support my endeavours as a contributor and wish to see more intelligent indicators as it is a lot of work.

Scalping idea in EURUSD M15 with SMA23.In this clip, I shared the idea of how to use SMA2 and SMA3 crossing in scalping EURUSD in a short term reversal of 15 minute time frame. Local maximum and local minimum points were used to draw supply lines that could be used as resistance lines for taking profits.
EURUSD H4 bounced down from a CC-5 counting resistance level.
This video show how to look for the trend from a big picture chart in EURUSD H4. Then go into more details to the use of middle Bollinger(20,2) band to determine the smaller trend. A resistance level generated by CC-5 counting has been shown as a resistance level for the price to bounce downward.
