ComiCo - Joel on Crypto - MACD ScalpingThis is a modified (hopefully improved) version of the "Joel on Crypto - MACD Scalping" indicator. It got turned into a strategy, and added some extra filters, like number of trades after EMA cross, minimal EMA distance (EMA 50's distance from the EMA 200). It is just an experiment to see how good this scalping strategy can get.
Play around with it and let me know if you found good settings, or just have a comment on it.
I could get fairly good results on BTCUSDT 5m with these settings (all others left on default values):
Ticks Avg. Multiplier = 1.4
Max trades after EMA cross = 16
Limit Price Difference = 0
Take Profit = 0.0065
Stop Loss = 0.0085
Min EMA difference = 110
Pyramiding = 3
Centered Oscillators
MACD ScalpsMACD Scalping
50 EMA crosses below 200 EMA = Only shorts
50 EMA crosses above 200 EMA = Only longs
For longs: -> Enter on red MACD bar
For shorts: -> Enter on green MACD bar
Bars not big enough or that do not follow the EMA rule are greyed out.
WSTF RSI2 IndicatorThis is the Indicator replicating the basic RSI(2) created by Wilders.
Buy condition:
(RSI(2) crossed under 10) & (close > EMA(200)) & (EMA(5) > close)
Sell condition:
(RSI(2) crossed over 90) & (close < EMA(200)) & (EMA(5) < close)
You can play around with the script by adjusting the RSI Values, EMA values and crossover & crossunder threshold.
We will update the script with new features in the futures.
Please don't hesitate to share some Ideas or Feedbacks, we would be happy to improve the script for you !
Have fun !

Genesis Matrix [Loxx]Over a decade ago, the Genesis Matrix system was one of best strategies for new traders looking to learn how to really trade trends. Fast forward to 2022, a new version of Genesis Matrix has emerged using TVI, CCI, HL Channel & T3
What is T3?
The T3 moving average is an indicator of an indicator since it includes several EMAs of another EMA. Unlike any other moving average, it adds the so-called volume factor, a value between 0 and 1. Like the SMA, traders typically use this indicator to spot trends and trend reversals.
What is CCI?
The Commodity Channel Index ( CCI ) measures the current price level relative to an average price level over a given period of time. CCI is relatively high when prices are far above their average. CCI is relatively low when prices are far below their average. Using this method, CCI can be used to identify overbought and oversold levels.
Genesis matrix uses Jurik-Smoothed CCI w/ MA Deviation--a spin on regular CCI .Usually CCI is calculated as using average ( Simple Moving Average ) and mean deviation. In this version, average is replaced with well known JMA (Jurik Moving Average) instead for the smoothing phase and the deviation is replaced with variety moving average deviation. The result in this one is responsive and fast (as expected) and also it is smoother than the original CCI (as expected).
What is SSL?
Known as the SSL, the Semaphore Signal Level channel chart alert is an indicator that combines moving averages to provide you with a clear visual signal of price movement dynamics. In short, it's designed to show you when a price trend is forming. For our purposes here, SSL has been modified to allow for different moving average selection and different closing price look back periods.
What is William Blau Ergodic Tick Volume?
This is one of the techniques described by William Blau in his book "Momentum, Direction and Divergence" (1995). If you like to learn more, we advise you to read this book. His book focuses on three key aspects of trading: momentum, direction and divergence. Blau, who was an electrical engineer before becoming a trader, thoroughly examines the relationship between price and momentum in step-by-step examples. From this grounding, he then looks at the deficiencies in other oscillators and introduces some innovative techniques, including a fresh twist on Stochastics. On directional issues, he analyzes the intricacies of ADX and offers a unique approach to help define trending and non-trending periods.
William Blau's definition of TVI ergodicity is that the indictor is ergodic when periods are set to 32, 5, 1, and the signal is set to 5. Other combinations are not ergodic, according to Blau.

What is Jurik Volty used in the Juirk Filter?
One of the lesser known qualities of Juirk smoothing is that the Jurik smoothing process is adaptive. "Jurik Volty" (a sort of market volatility ) is what makes Jurik smoothing adaptive. The Jurik Volty calculation can be used as both a standalone indicator and to smooth other indicators that you wish to make adaptive.
What is the Jurik Moving Average?
Have you noticed how moving averages add some lag (delay) to your signals? ... especially when price gaps up or down in a big move, and you are waiting for your moving average to catch up? Wait no more! JMA eliminates this problem forever and gives you the best of both worlds: low lag and smooth lines.

Bulls vs BearsThis indicator helps show whether Bulls or Bears have more power at a given time.
On the chart, you can see how one might use this indicator for entry, exit, and confirmation.
The math used to calculate the indicator line is as follows:
bullPower = high - MA
bearPower = low - MA
indicatorLine = bullPower + bearPower
If the indicator is above the baseline of 0, line is green and Bulls are in power.
If the indicator is below the baseline of 0, line is red and Bears are in power.
Baseline is defaulted to 0. This can be changed in either direction to create more confirmation about bullish or bearish. This line determines the color of the indicator line.
The dark band/channel is based on the Average True Range (ATR). The channel size can be adjusted. When the indicator line moves outside of the channel, it is an extremely strong indicator of who is in power and may precede a reversal or slowdown.
Settings that can be adjusted:
ATR Multiplier - adjusts the size of the channel. Default is 3
Source (default hlc3)
Moving Average Length - Default is 13.
Moving Average Type
- EMA
- SMA
- SMMA (RMA)
- WMA
- VWMA
Baseline - Sets color of indicator line to show what's bullish/bearish. Default to 0.
Colors:
- Indicator Line Colors
- ATR Band upper & lower lines
- ATR band background
Jurik Filter TRIX Log [Loxx]Jurik Filter TRIX Log is a TRIX indicator that calculates TRIX using a Jurik Filter instead of EMA. this indicator responds much quicker than traditional TRIX.
What is TRIX?
TRIX is a momentum oscillator that displays the percent rate of change of a TEMA. It was developed in the early 1980's by Jack Hutson, an editor for "Technical Analysis of Stocks and Commodities" magazine. With its triple smoothing, TRIX is designed to filter insignificant price movements. In his article he uses a logarithm of a price (which is in many versions, left out).

TTM Regression°This oscillator attempts to provide context to John Carter's "TTM Squeeze" indicator.
Similar to my MAR° indicator, statistically significant areas based on the past n candles (Lookback) are calculated to provide context for the y-axis values of the TTM indicator.
Note that Carter's squeeze idea has been dropped in favour of the regression bands, in that they offer a clear visual momentum squeeze condition.
The regression bands identify temporary exhaustion of bullish (purple) and bearish (green) momentum; these could potentially be seen as overbought and oversold indications.
The dotted midlines dictate intra-zones where momentum could reverse to continue the larger trend.
All the latter behave similarly to Support and Resistance zones.
The oscillator can also be normalized over a given interval to show results on a scale between 0 and 100, preserving even more context over time.
You should experiment for yourself to find out what is best for you in terms of scale, and Normalization Period.
Normalization Example: on the left you can observe how the momentum is visualized differently based on the scale, given the rapid momentum to the upside.
// –––. Regular
// –––. Normalized
It's crucial to use this oscillator as confluence only and not to take trades based solely on its indications.
At the moment there are no alerts set for this script, open to suggestions :)

BenMACD Wilders LTF (Learning to Fish) PTBH (Paid By The Hour)Howdy folks!
The study/script is based on Wilders MACD , and has its roots in "Learning to Fish", and "Paid by The Hour" , made popular by Daniel on Twitter. This takes Daniel's work a step further.
As stated, this MACD Wilders based study . By using this script in TradingView you can take guesswork out of the "curls" and "I think it's curling up? Let me check the blue line and subtract..." Forget all that. This study alerts you with big red arrows and big green arrows, and a banner and a message. And it makes sounds. Alert for bullish and a different sound for bearish.
This study is timeframe and instrument agnostic. Use it to daytrade, swing trade, or trade pairs. I've personally found a lot of success using this, trading pairs (SQQQ/TQQQ or TNZ/TZA, for example) on the 5m and 15m intervals. It's also been very accurate on PBTH using stocks like SQ or BX.
With arrows showing the MACD curl, it makes trading a lot easier.
Also included are 4 built in alert conditions:
upsignal - A bullish alert for 1 bar on the MACD.
upsignalconfirm - A bullish alert on 2 consecutive bars on the MACD. Confirmation alert.
downsignal - A bearish alert for 1 bar on the MACD.
downsignalconfirm - A bearish alert on 2 consecutive bars on the MACD. Confirmation alert.
I can help setup alerts for you if need be, or if you're fluent in TradingView, you're welcome to do that yourself. The premise here, is that the upsignal is a bullish indicator (and is indicated with a green up arrow on the BenMACD chart) and the downsignal is a bearish indicator (and is indicated with a red down arrow on the BenMACD chart).
The upsignalconfirm and downsignal confirm and alerts built into the code. The alerts themselves will have to be created, but they're already here for easy reference and installation.
Fast and Slow Trend-Line Momentum [Loxx]Fast and Slow Trend-Line Momentum is a momentum indicator using FATL, SATL, RFTL, & RSTL Digital Filters
What is FTLM-STLM?
Fast Trend Line Momentum (FTLM) and Slow Trend Line Momentum (SLTM) indicators show the rate of price change, FATL and SATL are calculated the similar way as Momentum indicator.
FTLM(bar) = FATL(bar) – RFTL(bar)
STLM(bar) = SATL(bar) – RSTL(bar)
The main difference FTLM from the classic Momentum indicator is the following: it source prices processed by digital filters instead of close prices itself. As a result, FTLM looks smoothed and regular, in contrast with classic Momentum technical indicators.

Jurik Filtered Perfect CCI (PCCI) [Loxx]Jurik Filtered Perfect CCI (PCCI) is a faster and more accurate version of CCI with Jurik Filtering.
What is the PCCI (Perfect Commodity Channel Index)?
PCCI (Perfect Commodity Channel Index) indicator is calculated by the following formula:
PCCI(bar) = close(bar) – DF(bar)
PCCI resembles D. Lambert's Commodity Channel Index by the method of its calculation.
Actually, CCI index is calculated as a normalized difference between the current price and its moving average. PCCI is calculated as a difference between a day closing price and its statistical expectation presented by a Digital Fitler value. Therefore, PCCI is more efficient than CCI.
PCCI index is a high frequency part of the exchange rate fluctuations normalized according to its standard deviation.

Wait no more! JMA eliminates this problem forever and gives you the best of both worlds: low lag and smooth lines.
Ideally, you would like a filtered signal to be both smooth and lag-free. Lag causes delays in your trades, and increasing lag in your indicators typically result in lower profits. In other words, late comers get what's left on the table after the feast has already begun.

BenMACD Wilders LTF ScriptSo the script... some details!
What I've created is a MACD Wilders based study. By using this study, in TradingView you can take guesswork out of the "curls" and "I think it's curling up? Let me check the blue line and subtract...". Screw all that. It alerts you with big red arrows and big green arrows, and a banner and a message. And it makes sounds. Alert for bullish and a different sound for bearish.
It also has a confirmation component.
If you don't think it's worth it I'll gladly refund your $. I also help you set it up and answer any questions you have.
RAS.V2 Strength Index OscillatorHeavily modified version of my previous "Relative Aggregate Strength Oscillator" -Added high/low lines, alma curves,, lrc bands, changed candle calculations + other small things. Replaces the standard RSI indicator with something a bit more insightful.
Credits to @wolneyyy - 'Mean Deviation Detector - Throw Out All Other Indicators ' And @algomojo - 'Responsive Coppock Curve'
And the default Relative Strength Index
The candles are the average of the MFI ,CCI ,MOM and RSI candles, they seemed similar enough in style to me so I created candles out of each and the took the sum of all the candle's OHLC values and divided by 4 to get an average, same as v1 but with some tweaks. Previous Peaks and Potholes visible with the blue horizontal lines which adjust when a new boundary is established. Toggle alma waves or smalrc curves or both to your liking. This indicator is great for calling out peaks and troughs in realtime, although is best when combined with other trusted indicators to get a consensus.
Squeeze mom MTF filtered by Wavetrend with div (Tilt)📋 Description :
This script is based on two famous indicators from @Lazybear : Squeeze Momentum and WaveTrend. fr.tradingview.com
The idea is to use the Wavetrend crossovers and filter them according to the momentum curve.
There is a multi timeframe module with automatic selection of the higher timeframe. The user can also choose his timeframe manually.
There is also a detection of regular and hidden divergences
🛠 Options :
- filtering the cross wave trend according to the momemtum curve
- active or not higher timeframe with automatic or manually timeframe selection
- display or not WaveTrend ans squeeze momentum
- Show a tape that signals when wavetrend is overbought or oversold
- choose colors and apparences
- display a panel for the higher timeframe value
Short Swing Bearish MACD Cross (By Coinrule)This strategy is oriented towards shorting during downside moves, whilst ensuring the asset is trading in a higher timeframe downtrend, and exiting after further downside.
This script can work well on coins you are planning to hodl for long-term and works especially well whilst using an automated bot that can execute your trades for you. It allows you to hedge your investment by allocating a % of your coins to trade with, whilst not risking your entire holding. This mitigates unrealised losses from hodling as it provides additional cash from the profits made. You can then choose to hodl this cash, or use it to reinvest when the market reaches attractive buying levels. Alternatively, you can use this when trading contracts on futures markets where there is no need to already own the underlying asset prior to shorting it.
ENTRY
This script utilises the MACD indicator accompanied by the Exponential Moving Average (EMA) 450 to enter trades. The MACD is a trend following momentum indicator and provides identification of short-term trend direction. In this variation it utilises the 11-period as the fast and 26-period as the slow length EMAs, with signal smoothing set at 9.
The EMA 450 is used as additional confirmation to prevent the script from shorting when price is above this long-term moving average. Once price is above the EMA 450 the script will not open any shorts - preventing the rule from attempting to short uptrends. Due to this, this strategy is ideal for setting and forgetting.
The script will enter trades based on two conditions:
1) When the MACD signals a bearish cross. This occurs when the EMA 11 crosses below the EMA 26 within the MACD signalling the start of a potential downtrend.
2) Price has closed below the EMA 450. Price closing below this long-term EMA signals that the asset is in a sustained downtrend. Price breaking above this could indicate a bullish strength in which shorting would not be profitable.
EXIT
This script utilises a set take-profit and stop-loss from the entry of the trade. The take profit is set at 8% and the stop loss of 4%, providing a risk reward ratio of 2. This indicates the script will be profitable if it has a win ratio greater than 33%.
Take-Profit Exit: -8% price decrease from entry price.
OR
Stop-Loss Exit: +4% price increase from entry price.
Based on backtesting results across a selection of assets, the 45-minute and 1-hour timeframes are the best for this strategy.
The strategy assumes each order is using 30% of the available coins to make the results more realistic and to simulate you only ran this strategy on 30% of your holdings. A trading fee of 0.1% is also taken into account and is aligned to the base fee applied on Binance.
The backtesting data was recorded from December 1st 2021, just as the market was beginning its downtrend. We therefore recommend analysing the market conditions prior to utilising this strategy as it operates best on weak coins during downtrends and bearish conditions, however the EMA 450 condition should mitigate entries during bullish market conditions.
Commodity Channel IndexThis is a great indicator to use when following the trend. If the indicator line moves ABOVE +200 then you are in a STRONG trend until it moves back BELOW -200. Watch the indicator bounce of the 50 line and continue in the direction of your trade.
MACD XDThis indicator is based on the classic MACD indicator, and with the following additional features:
1. Another set of MACD and signal lines (green and orange) is added for analyzing a bigger trend in a higher time frame. The default set of MACD and signal lines (red and blue) are used for the smaller trend (current time frame).
2. Small upward and downward triangles are added to mark the golden and death crosses of MACD and signal lines: Blue and red triangles (buy and sell signals) - golden and death crosses of MACD and signal lines for the smaller trend (current time frame), green and orange triangles (buy and sell signals) - golden and death crosses of MACD and signal lines for the bigger trend (a higher time frame).
3. The total areas of histograms above and below the MACD zero axis are calculated and shown by the numbers next to the histogram. This information can be used to analyze the top and bottom divergences of the smaller trend (current time frame).
4. A line connecting peaks of adjacent positive or negative histograms is drawn when top and bottom divergences occur, which indicates a potential trend reversal.
This indicator can be used in the following way: after a golden cross occurs in the bigger trend (green arrow), a death cross in the smaller trend (red arrow) may lead to a potential long entry at the pull back of the bigger up trend; after a death cross occurs in the bigger trend (orange arrow), a golden cross in the smaller trend (blue arrow) may lead to a potential short entry at the pull back of the bigger down trend. Note that in general, golden crosses occur when MACD and signal lines are above the zero axis means a higher high will be made, and death crosses occur when MACD and signal lines are below the zero axis means a lower low will be made. On the contrary, golden crosses occurring below the zero axis or death crosses occurring above the zero axis may only lead to a potential pull back in a trend.
Fancy Bars v.02.07Hello Lads,
this is the mandatory description to not get this indicator banned by tradingview. :-)
So what you can basically see are different types of colored candles and some weird signs below and above the candles.
In this picture you can see all features that the indicator is providing at the moment of the relase. More to come soon anon.
As first we got different color settings for different candles.
There are two different types of color candles.
Casual Extensions of the source you have chosen in the settings are either green or red by default.
If the market extends a little more, the bars are being colored either blue or purple.
These candles work well to identifiy local exhaustion points after a rallye to the up or the down side. But you can also take them as an entry.
For Example:
A green or blue extension appears after a significant drop in price. Candles like these are usually a first sign of a local bottom to form or a bounce to appear.
In order to view green and blue bars at the opposite, you can take them as an exit for your long after a rally, because the market tends to be exhausted afterwards.
It works the same way for the red and purple bars as you can see here. I hope the screenshot can make that clear aswell. :-)
So on the screenshots you can see aswell many different signs below and above the candles.
Candles with an "F" below or above the candle are showing you that the Fisher Transform indicator has made a turnover.
So this basically means that if there is a green "F" below a bar the value of the Fischer Oscillator is smaller then - 3 and the fast line is crossing the slow line, which is bullish.
If you see a "F" above a candle, this means that the slow line is crossing the fast line and the value of the fisher transform is greater then 3.
If you see an "H" above or below the candle this means that the Indicator "Hull Suite by InSilico" is turning over.
If the "H" is red and above the candle it´s a bearish sign, if it´s green and below the candle, it is a bullish sign.
Well as next we have these white colored "X" appearing form time to time.
Well X stands basically for EXIT.
We have calculated the difference from the current price to a selectable EMA / MA and if the percentage difference in market is bigger then the selected value in the menu, the market will simply print an "X" where you can exit your long or short position.
We recommand to use this function, espacially as all other functions aswell, only for scalping purposes, to catch a possible reversion of the price.
Here you can see the menu at it´s full beauty. You can select every mode and adjust your settings for your personal preferences.
gyazo.com
gyazo.com
You can even chose different modes for the extension bars, which are currently being tested. If you got some feedback, please let us know!
The "Vanilla" mode of the extension bars takes the volume from the current chart that you are looking at. So this mode basically works for all in TradingView existing markets where chart provides you volume.
The second mode aggregates Spot and Perpetual Volume from the biggest exchanges. We recommand to use this and the other modes (except vanilla ofc) only for BTC and ETH.
Furthermore we took the provided Open Interest from Binance to calculate the bars. It is as all the other things aswell highly experimental and hasn´t been tested a lot yet.
Last but not least, we calculated from the given Open Interest by Binance a CVD for BTC and ETH, which expansions are also being plotted as the previous explained candles.

You can also change the length and the type of the AVG that is being calculated for the bar coloring. As well as for the Exit Bars and the Hull Suite.

Multi-timeframe MomentumThe Multi-timeframe momentum indicator is similar in concept to a velocity indicator like rate-of-change, but visualizes smoothed price changes by applying an EMA and linear regression to price difference at every bar. Momentums from 1 minute to 1 quarter are plotted on a single chart using the request.security function. Standard and Fibonacci timeframes are available as well as the ability to hide high-timeframes to keep the chart clean. Like any oscillator, divergence in the momentums can be used to identify price reversals in conjunction with support and resistance. When linear regression is applied, high and low inflection points are used to identify reversals in a manner similar to MACD.
Much love to DumpCap! The script is presented sans secret sauce.
ATRP (Average True Range Percent)ATRP compares the average true range in percentage terms between two periods. A healthy correction occurs with short-term volatility contracting vs longer-term volatility. It also helps spot low-risk entries as volatility falls.
I also included the historical average true range in percentage terms so an investor can quickly visualize what a likely daily range will be.
In my experience, it is vital to apply this analysis to stocks trending above their 50 and 200-day moving averages as stocks in downtrends can keep falling for extended periods of time with dwindling volatility.
