TDI Hedge Strategy
This is the incomplete version but upon multiple requests, I have released it early. All of the strategy and alert functions are yet to be written and I'll get around to it soon.
This indicator aims to be the best TDI indicator on TradingView. It is a strategy or study. It will have all of the filter, entry, and exit conditions for the strategies around the TDI.
What is implemented
MFI or RSI: the MFI is a much better TDI baseline than the RSI, in my opinion, and very effective
EMA or SMA used for the moving averages on fast, slow, and volatility band
Dynamic timeframe: set a factor of current timeframe and indicator will analyse higher timeframe automatically
Manual timeframe: set a higher timeframe to analyse different to currently viewed
Features for later
conditions for TDI filters/entries/exits
Strategy functions to use built-in strategy tester

EBB & Flow: a multi-EMA-based BB cloudIntro
This is an idea evolved out of the market maker method and EMA convergence, divergence, and mean reversion.
The market maker method informs us that the 5, 13, 50 and 200 EMAs are important to regulating price. Those EMA lengths are multiples of the 50 and 200 on lower major timeframes -- the 1 minute, 5, 15, 1H, 4H, 1D. I include the 21 because it is also a multiple and in crypto very often respected.
When market makers are testing price, they set their range and spike in the direction they test for liquidity. This can get chaotic. For instance, in a shorter time frame consolidation inside a bigger timeframe uptrend, it can be too easy to forget where you are in the many trends playing out.
When the EMAs are dragged over each other during normal price movement, you get these crisscrossing tracks of price, and the individual breaks can be hard to trace.
The range is what matters, ultimately, and the range is dynamic. In that case, the Bollinger Band is a great tool for detecting outliers in this case.
The Answer
So the answer this indicator seeks to give, is to look for outliers. This gives you a scalping strategy built on Traders Reality thinking and best put together with the PVSRA indicator, which I may include in this indicator just for the sake of concision, but they can work alongside each other or separately.
The key thing is the different EMA clouds, which are bollinger bands. Tight bands mean imminent breaks, favouring the trend. Vector candles out of a zone, pins to the low/high, etc. are all very relevant alongside this indicator.
You can also use it on its own and scalp the breaks of a cloud.
How it works
Each cloud is a standard deviation from their respective EMA, all in the same colour. The deviation multiple is 1.618 by default. Yes, fibonacci sequences are usually nonsense, but it works better with the BB than 2, 2.5 or 3.
Using just the clouds, you can see where each EMA is headed and how it behaves within the deviation of the others.
But that on its own isn't enough.
The indicator will also print snowflakes above and below the candle for notable outliers. It will be in the colour of the cloud it breaks, but only if that break is also breaking the smaller EMA clouds too.
The most snowflakes will be yellow because that's the 13 EMA. That one is dependent on nothing else and every break will print a snowflake. The 21 will be dependent on the 13. The 50 dependent on the 13 and 21 breaks. The 200 the most important.
For example, if the 200 EMA-BB or EBB is broken at the upper band, deviating by more than 162% of price over a 200 period EMA, and that break is not above the 50 EMA cloud, there will be no snowflake. However, if it exceeds the 13, 21, 50, and 200 clouds, then a purple snowflake will appear above the bar.
Any snowflake is an extreme in price. The purple is an especially good point of entry. That doesn't mean it is a perfect entry. You can build position from it, though, and be relatively certain of a price correction in the near future, because not only was this major EMA cloud violated, but all of the smaller ones too.
Reminder
You still need your PVSRA and candlesticks. This indicator on its own may have a nice hit rate for scalping and building position, as an alternative to the TDI or alongside it, but it is not enough on its own, just like the TDI.
Enjoy!
MTF CCI using EMAsThis is a CCI script adapted from 'CCI w EMA by Rick3712' which removes the EMA of the CCI and adds different sized CCI results to the same plot. An info box is also added for easy reference of current values.
CCI is a useful way to see the price's relation to moving averages in a different way, and being able to see the trend strength over time using the larger CCI allows a trader to make better informed decisions when reaching oversold or overbought conditions in relation to the shorter EMAs, such as the 20. You can also see patterns in a trend's strength easier by comparing the movements and levels to find likely areas of a pullback or buying opportunity.
In the example you can see a common level in ETH's parabolic movement on the 4h 750 EMA and 200 EMA that indicates a likely correction area.
MA-SS ( EMA SSL ) Indicator StrategyThis is the strategy script relating to the already-published MA-SS Indicator Study.
Backtest properties for the strategy tester results shown below are;
- 10k initial capital
- 50% of equity
- 0.0075% commission
- zero values on everything else
The MA-SS Indicator is a simple yet effective indicator using a combination of EMAs and SSL channel, utilising higher time frame data to help confirm trend/ price direction.
How does it work?
The Indicator consists of;
- 3 x EMAs – The 3rd EMA being a filter EMA
- Multi Time Frame EMA (This is an additional filter EMA which can be switched on and off)
- Multi Time Frame SSL Channel (This acts as a filter and can also be switched on and off)
The concept initially began as a simple EMA crossing indicator, but adding an MTF EMA plus a MTF SSL channel for additional filtering, helped to give a better indication of trend and ultimately filter out several bad trades.
- EXAMPLE: If price is …
o below the MTF EMA filter
o The MTF SSL Channel is red
o White and blue EMAs cross below the yellow (filter) EMA in the red SSL channel
> …a short is fired!
- (Opposite scenario for longs)
- Your stop loss would ideally be the top/ bottom of the SSL channel (either the MTF SSL channel or a standard SSL channel added manually to the chart), or, go for a clear pivot point or support/ resistance level.
- Take profit is yours to decide but I opt for a 1:1.5 risk/reward ratio. You could also use the MTF SSL channel to gauge when you should exit your trade (i.e. if you're in a long, wait for the SSL channel to flip red).

CH-I: Trend - Multi-Timeframe WatchlistWatchlists give only a flat perspective on changes in the market, as they show only the daily change of underlyings and give no comprehensible context to other underlyings and other timeframes to show the bigger picture.
With a cockpit showing price changes of different underlyings over several timeframes at the same time, a real understanding can be developed about shorter term momentum embedded into a longer term trend.
Look how major commodity currencies (in purple) have outrun other major currencies in recent months, but where the biggest losers in the last days as seen below. When now looking at the also displayed chart of the Norwegian Krone against the US Dollar, this gives more context, as the indication clearly shows, that commodity currencies in general have been rising for the last months and startet dropping recently.
By grouping related underlyings with the same kind of representation, it also becomes clear, in which of these sectors the action is gaining or losing momentum.
Here you can see how the major european markets (in green) are currently outperforming most other major markets with the major asian markets (in purple) being the laggards.
Another important benefit is the clear visibility of a shift in focus from one underlying or class of underlyings to another over time, which gives valuable insights into mode changes of differing markets to increase understanding of the current state of the relationships between different markets.
For more than half a year, mid and small caps have outperformed large caps in US equities, as much as Value caps have outperformed Growth caps. Here you see, how the outperformance of Value stocks has been maintained, but the focus shifted from smaller to bigger caps.
The indicator allows up to 20 individually selected ticker symbols classifiable into up to 6 separate groups with up to 12 different selectable time periods (including a custom time period) to be displayed.
The results can be displayed either only as a percentage change from start to end of the corresponding time period as well as additionally with highs and lows in the interval in a candlestick representation.
The output can be ordered by symbols as individually entered as well as by performance for a selectable time period.
For further convenience, a range of predefined sets of symbol is preconfigured to give insights into the development of markets for bonds, commodities, currencies, cryptos, equity markets and the economy without having to manually configure the corresponding symbols into the list of selectable symbols.
Additional details about Open, High, Low and Close values and the exact percentage changes as displayed as well as about selected symbols and allocated groups can be displayed by hovering the mouse over any time period or any symbol.

Stochastic RSI MTF - 6 TimeframesDisplays Stochastic RSI from 6 different timeframes.
Default timeframe settings: 5min, 15min, 30min, 1hr, 4hr, 1day.
Multi Time Frame EMA Signal & ResistanceFull code and description: github.com/samgozman/MTF-EMA-Signal-and-Resistance
The idea of this script is quite simple. Imagine that you have a 200-day EMA and its support or resistance line is the 200-week EMA.
Then if EMA 200 1D > EMA 200 1W then the trend is bullish.
That is, EMA 200 1D is the signal line, and EMA 200 1W is the resistance.
Of course, you can independently set the time interval for the signal line and resistance, as well as the number of periods.
In addition to setting time intervals and period lengths, you can optionally enable the display of additional class EMAs.
You can also set the timeframe for the signal line equal to the current time period.
(IK) Stoch-60-15This strategy uses 60 minute and 15 minute stochastic data to determine entry and exit; it only executes long trades. I've only used this on BTC/USD, but I imagine the concepts employed should hold for any ticker
The script builds a simple Stochastic indicator for the current timeframe, and it also plots a single stochastic line for a higher resolution time frame. I've found good results trading on 15 minutes with a 60 minute higher resolution.
We enter a trade if the higher resolution stochastic is in an uptrend, if the current resolution stochastic is in an uptrend, and if the current stochastic value is less than 50.
We exit a trade when the current stochastic value crosses below 80 or the trailing stop loss is hit.
Stop loss is calculated with the input value, Stop Loss Percent. This value represents the percent of capital you're willing to lose before exiting a trade. A stop loss percent of 0.050 means your trade will exit if it falls 5% from the highest high since entering a trade. You will have at least 95% of your original capital left. There is no option to change a trailing stop loss to a set stop loss (in order to keep the code as simple as possible), however, you can turn it off by setting Stop Loss Percent to 1.
I tried to keep the script itself lightweight and very easy to understand, so it's not very customizable in regards to input options. You can change stochastic data, as well as the trailing stop percentage. The script can be adjusted to other timeframes, however this requires a small change in the code (details in script comments). Changing just the "Higher Resolution" input will not produce expected results
My hope is that by keeping it lightweight and simple, it will be easier for you to adjust to your specific needs, or work into a larger strategy.

MTF SwingSwiss - Premium@panthair9, a SwingSwiss user, asked me to develop this script based on the two SwingSwiss crosses.
The indicator shows in real-time how the other timeframes are trading the asset.
It's pretty useful to know that the higher timeframes are also trading your way as it limits your risk (because you are trading the right trend)
You can choose up to five timeframes and style the lines and colored blocks 😃
There is one line per timeframe and whenever the green cross appears on the timeframe, it will get updated into the line as well !! I love the thing, thanks again @panthair9 ❤️
PS:
Dear SwingSwiss community, I am really trying to build the best indicator out there!
If you feel like I could improve the indicator in any way, just ask!
I'll do my best to make your dream indicator come true 🙌

h4hdwm (updated)I put most importand moving avarages for most importand time frames together. When you whatching a graph you are sometimes missing another time frime very importand moving avarage and there is a reaction on price. with this multi time frame multi ma indicator you can see all of them at once. it makes a little mass if you let all of them together. so you might close some of them.
Bigger time frames Moving Avarages has ticker lines and bigger steps.
HTF Highs Lows [JV]█ OVERVIEW
This script presents a label with an overview of higher timeframe highs and lows. This can be useful information as we all know that price likes to revisit previous highs and lows area, specially on the higher timeframe.
█ CONCEPTS
This information can be relevant and valuable for various reasons:
Finding horizontal Support and Resistance
Get a better view on Market Structure
Provide some information about Order Flow
TrendLines
...
█ FEATURES
Plots
This script provides the option to show information about 3 timeframes
Each timeframe can be separately shown or hidden
The Y position of the info label can be user defined, based on high or low of the chosen timeframe
The X offset of the info label can be adjusted to the user's liking and the chart resolution
The label color and text color can be user defined
The info label's size can be user defined
█ NOTES
Caveat
The timeframes must be chosen in order of size. Meaning that the highest timeframe should be on top. This is title as such on the info label, but I want to mention it again as it's something to pay attention to.
Repainting
The question that pops up all the time is: Does it repaint ?
I will quote PineCoders on this:
We're pretty sure Wilder was not asked very often if RSI repainted. Why? Because it wasn't in fashion—and largely unnecessary—to ask that sort of question in the 80's. Many traders back then used daily charts only, and indicator values were calculated at the day's close, so everybody knew what they were getting. Additionally, indicator values were calculated by generally reputable outfits or traders themselves, so data was pretty reliable. Today, almost anybody can write a simple indicator, and the programming languages used to write them are complex enough for some coders lacking the caution, know-how or ethics of the best professional coders, to get in over their heads and produce code that does not work the way they think it does.
Briefly: yes, it repaints and no it does not matter.
Simple because we are working with highs and lows on a higher timeframe. So if we get a new high or low within a certain time frame, we want this new high or low to be displayed and, for me, it's not relevant if this information appears when it happens or when the candle closes.

5. Industrial Product
6. Construction
7. Property
8. Plantation
9. Utilities
10. Transportation
11. Energy
12. REIT
13. Finance
The last line (Line 15) is provided for other stock/index which is not available in option to manually fill.
All sector and index price are smoothen by Moving Average (MA). The default moving average is Relative Moving Average (RMA) which is used in Relative Strength Index ( RSI ) Oscillator. But the range is different from RSI , it is from -100 to 100 instead of 0 to 100. In the end, result and interpretation are just the same as RSI . Green area indicates oversold area, while red area is overbought.
Other choice of Moving Averages are available to change.
The problem of putting all together is the script may take longer to process. It is just for convenient use.

Waindrops [Makit0]█ OVERALL
Plot waindrops (custom volume profiles) on user defined periods, for each period you get high and low, it slices each period in half to get independent vwap, volume profile and the volume traded per price at each half.
It works on intraday charts only, up to 720m (12H). It can plot balanced or unbalanced waindrops, and volume profiles up to 24H sessions.
As example you can setup unbalanced periods to get independent volume profiles for the overnight and cash sessions on the futures market, or 24H periods to get the full session volume profile of EURUSD
The purpose of this indicator is twofold:
1 — from a Chartist point of view, to have an indicator which displays the volume in a more readable way
2 — from a Pine Coder point of view, to have an example of use for two very powerful tools on Pine Script:
• the recently updated drawing limit to 500 (from 50)
• the recently ability to use drawings arrays (lines and labels)
If you are new to Pine Script and you are learning how to code, I hope you read all the code and comments on this indicator, all is designed for you,
the variables and functions names, the sometimes too big explanations, the overall structure of the code, all is intended as an example on how to code
in Pine Script a specific indicator from a very good specification in form of white paper
If you wanna learn Pine Script form scratch just start HERE
In case you have any kind of problem with Pine Script please use some of the awesome resources at our disposal: USRMAN , REFMAN , AWESOMENESS , MAGIC
█ FEATURES
Waindrops are a different way of seeing the volume and price plotted in a chart, its a volume profile indicator where you can see the volume of each price level
plotted as a vertical histogram for each half of a custom period. By default the period is 60 so it plots an independent volume profile each 30m
You can think of each waindrop as an user defined candlestick or bar with four key values:
• high of the period
• low of the period
• left vwap (volume weighted average price of the first half period)
• right vwap (volume weighted average price of the second half period)
The waindrop can have 3 different colors (configurable by the user):
• GREEN: when the right vwap is higher than the left vwap (bullish sentiment )
• RED: when the right vwap is lower than the left vwap (bearish sentiment )
• BLUE: when the right vwap is equal than the left vwap ( neutral sentiment )
KEY FEATURES
• Help menu
• Custom periods
• Central bars
• Left/Right VWAPs
• Custom central bars and vwaps: color and pixels
• Highly configurable volume histogram: execution window, ticks, pixels, color, update frequency and fine tuning the neutral meaning
• Volume labels with custom size and color
• Tracking price dot to be able to see the current price when you hide your default candlesticks or bars

█ ERRORS AND PERFORMANCE
Depending on the choosed settings, the script performance will be highly affected and it will experience errors
Two of the more common errors it can throw are:
• Calculation takes too long to execute
• Loop takes too long
The indicator performance is highly related to the underlying volatility (tick wise), the script takes each candlestick or bar and for each tick in it stores the price and volume, if the ticker in your chart has thousands and thousands of ticks per bar the indicator will throw an error for sure, it can not calculate in time such amount of ticks.
What all of that means? Simply put, this will throw error on the BITCOIN pair BTCUSD (high volatility with tick size 0.01) because it has too many ticks per bar, but lucky you it will work just fine on the futures contract BTC1! (tick size 5) because it has a lot less ticks per bar
There are some options you can fine tune to boost the script performance, the more demanding option in terms of resources consumption is Updates per period , by default is maxed out so lowering this setting will improve the performance in a high way.
If you wanna know more about how to improve the script performance, read the HELP INFO accessible from the settings panel
█ HOW-TO SETUP
The basic parameters to adjust are Period size , Ticks per bar and Pixels per bar
• Period size is the main setting, defines the waindrop size, to get a better looking histogram set bigger period and smaller chart timeframe
• Ticks per bar is the tricky one, adjust it differently for each underlying (ticker) volatility wise, for some you will need a low value, for others a high one.
To get a more accurate histogram set it as lower as you can (min value is 1)
• Pixels per bar allows you to adjust the width of each histogram bar, with it you can adjust the blank space between them or allow overlaping
You must play with these three parameters until you obtain the desired histogram: smoother, sharper, etc...
These are some of the different kind of charts you can setup thru the settings:
• Balanced Waindrops (default): charts with waindrops where the two halfs are of same size.
This is the default chart, just select a period (30m, 60m, 120m, 240m, pick your poison), adjust the histogram ticks and pixels and watch
• Unbalanced Waindrops: chart with waindrops where the two halfs are of different sizes.
Do you trade futures and want to plot a waindrop with the first half for the overnight session and the second half for the cash session? you got it;
just adjust the period to 1860 for any CME ticker (like ES1! for example) adjust the histogram ticks and pixels and watch
• Full Session Volume Profile: chart with waindrops where only the first half plots.
Do you use Volume profile to analize the market? Lucky you, now you can trick this one to plot it, just try a period of 780 on SPY, 2760 on ES1!, or 2880 on EURUSD
remember to adjust the histogram ticks and pixels for each underlying
• Only Bars: charts with only central and vwap bars plotted, simply deactivate the histogram and volume labels
• Only Histogram: charts with only the histogram plotted (volume profile charts), simply deactivate the bars and volume labels
• Only Volume: charts with only the raw volume numbers plotted, simply deactivate the bars and histogram
If you wanna know more about custom full session periods for different asset classes, read the HELP INFO accessible from the settings panel
EXAMPLES
Full Session Volume Profile on MES 5m chart:
Full Session Unbalanced Waindrop on MNQ 2m chart (left side Overnight session, right side Cash Session):
The following examples will have the exact same charts but on four different tickers representing a futures contract, a forex pair, an etf and a stock.
We are doing this to be able to see the different parameters we need for plotting the same kind of chart on different assets
The chart composition is as follows:
• Left side: Volume Labels chart (period 10)
• Upper Right side: Waindrops (period 60)
• Lower Right side: Full Session Volume Profile
The first example will specify the main parameters, the rest of the charts will have only the differences
MES :
• Left: Period size: 10, Bars: uncheck, Histogram: uncheck, Execution window: 1, Ticks per bar: 2, Updates per period: EACH BAR,
Pixels per bar: 4, Volume labels: check, Track price: check
• Upper Right: Period size: 60, Bars: check, Bars color mode: HISTOGRAM, Histogram: check, Execution window: 2, Ticks per bar: 2,
Updates per period: EACH BAR, Pixels per bar: 4, Volume labels: uncheck, Track price: check
• Lower Right: Period size: 2760, Bars: uncheck, Histogram: check, Execution window: 1, Ticks per bar: 1, Updates per period: EACH BAR,
Pixels per bar: 2, Volume labels: uncheck, Track price: check
EURUSD :
• Upper Right: Ticks per bar: 10
• Lower Right: Period size: 2880, Ticks per bar: 1, Pixels per bar: 1
SPY :
• Left: Ticks per bar: 3
• Upper Right: Ticks per bar: 5, Pixels per bar: 3
• Lower Right: Period size: 780, Ticks per bar: 2, Pixels per bar: 2
AAPL :
• Left: Ticks per bar: 2
• Upper Right: Ticks per bar: 6, Pixels per bar: 3
• Lower Right: Period size: 780, Ticks per bar: 1, Pixels per bar: 2

MavilimW Strategy MTF EMA with HA CandlesThis is a strategy adapted initially for Mavilim moving average indicator, based on WMA MA.
It seems to works amazingly on long term markets, like stocks, some futures, some comodities and so on.
In this strategy, I form initially the candle, using EMA values, so I take the EMA of last 50 closes, open, highs and lows and form the candle
After this I take interally HA and convert the EMA candle to HA.
Then using the moving averages on multiple timeframes, like in this example we have a chart on 4h, but I use 1h and 1d moving averages.
For long condition we have : close is above moving average timeframe1 and oving average timeframe2 and oving average timeframe3
Initially short would be close below ma timeframe1, ma timeframe2 and timeframe3 -> but here I also convert it into a long signal.
So we actually go only long .
And we have 2 different exits : for first long if we have a crossdown of 1h ma with 1 day ma, and for second long if we have a cross up of 1h ma with 1 day ma in this example.
Message me if you have any questions about this strategy.
MTF_HA & CANDLE [by coral1213]Hi traders.
This is a multi-timeframe Heikin-Ashi candle chart script.
There is no repaint.
This is used when you want to see a high time frame Heikin-Ashi candle on the candlestick chart.
1. HTF RESOLUTION = Frame of output candle... 1H=60, 4H=240, 1D=1D, 1W=1W...
2. HTF SOURCE TYPE = Selects the target chart mode for the output candle... Candlestick of HighTimeFrame or Heikin-ashi of HighTimeFrame
3. HTF RESOLUTION HIGHLIGHT = Marks the beginning of the selected resolution.
For better visibility, it is recommended to turn off the optional border color.
Enjoy Trade
Triple RSIThis idea behind this indicator was to show an un cluttered view of the RSI on 3 different timeframes. The RSI for the current chart highlights Lime/Red when it crosses the Overbought and Oversold levels, which are editable in the Inputs tab. RSI 2 defaults to the 1h timeframe and prints a lime dot at the top of the indicator when it's above the 50 level and a Red Dot at the bottom of the indicator when it's below the 50 level. It can also be viewed as a plot line that changes color when it's above or below the 50 level. RSI 3 defaults to the 4h timeframe and prints a blue square at the top of the indicator when it's above the 50 level and an orange square at the bottom of the indicator when it's below the 50 level. It also can be viewed as a plot line that changes color when it's above or below the 50 level.
I've added the indicator multiple times to show a few of the different viewing options, with the default settings at the very bottom.
