Average Daily Range% for DaytradingThis indicator shows how many Average Daily Ranges was covered in today's move.
Average Daily Range is always calculated based on the last 5 previous days (before current day).
Tables show:
► How many % of days exceed their ADR.
► How many days in a row did the range remain lower than 5 Day ADR
► How much is already covered by today's move.
It is designed for Daily chart, don't try to use it elsewhere.
Volatility
Market Meanness Index [CC]The Market Meanness Index was created by Johann Christian Lotter and I added some smoothing of my own, so feel free to try it without any smoothing to see the differences. This indicator relies on the mean reversion theory that all prices will eventually revert to the mean over a long period of time. Obviously there is more to the theory but the basic idea is if you plot a sma or other typical moving average, you will see the price moving up or below the long term moving average such as a 200 day sma but usually heads back to the average in the short term. This is a good statistical analysis used for volatility which is where this indicator comes in. Simply put, we calculate volatility based on how often a price is both above the median and above the previous price or vice versa.
A rising Market Meanness Index means that the market is becoming more volatile and that there is a high likelihood of a change in the underlying trend. A falling Market Meanness Index means that the current trend is dying and there is a high likelihood of a trend reversal. Typically I put general buy and sell signals in red or green but in this particular case, this indicator works best as a overall trend filter and you would want to place a trade when this indicator has a peak or valley. Let me know if you find a good overall buy and sell signal system of course.
I know I keep saying that I will get active again and post more indicators but life is very hectic for me. For those who have been following my updates, my twins were finally born a little over a month ago and as you can imagine, they keep me up at all hours of the day so it is hard to create new indicator scripts when I'm getting no sleep lol. I will do my best to start publishing the giant backlog of scripts I have created but in the meantime, please be patient with me. This indicator was a special request so let me know if you have any special requests of your own!
ZenBot Signals - Trend StrengthI developed this indicator as a "regime detection" for my algo trading bot. It uses the ADX +/- values with a few twists.
- If ADX DI+ is over 30 and DI- is below 20 and falling (inverse for shorts)
- Price action rising/falling thru various VWAP standard deviations indicates a strong trend break
- Some other custom juju (open source so have fun).
I use this primarily to monitor the SPY index as a backdrop for my long and short trades. If the colored line below price bars is red or green, a strong trend is present and there is a decent trade environment.
Visible RangeA quick and easy "at a glance" display for the viewable candles. It does repaint, but that is a non-issue, as it is simply a quick and handy tool to visually see a quick peek at the visible range.
The highest, lowest, and average are displayed, with labels for the percentage distance from the current close value and total range.
Automatic color for each based on relative distance for consistency in stable or volatile conditions.
Position Sizing CalculatorThis script calculates the position size base on the stop loss price, entry price, and the percent of equity willing to risk.
Formula:
(Asset Quantity) = (Amount Risk at Trade) / (Price Difference Between Entry Price and Stop Loss)
or
Position size = (% Equity at Risk) * (Equity) / (Entry Price - Stop Loss Price)
Volatility MeterThe title is quite self explanatory. It is a Volatility Meter based on Bollinger Bands Width and MA.
These parameters can be selected by users in settings tab:
- Basic Bollinger Bands Parameters: length , standart deviation and source
- Timeframes: 1h, 2h, 3h and 4h
If the indicator is red it means volatility is high in the market. If it is white , it means that market is not volatile right now.
Sigma Expected Movement [D/W/M]Based on the VIX, this indicator shows the expected movement of a stock, ETF or index.
This indicator has two standard deviations that you can set for better guidance.
You can also adjust it for a result in one day, one week or one month.
Settings
* Period
* 1st Deviation: Default 68%
* 2nd Deviation: Default 90%
*Round To Integer: If it checked, it will search for the nearest integer (+/-). Optimal for people who do Options.
*Table Position: refers to which corner you want to put the table with information.
DonchianFib[Akcay]How does it work?
- The indicator detects the highest and lowest price level in the last x periods every time prices advance by x periods.
- From these values, retracement (0.618, 0.786) and expansion levels (1.272, 1.618, 2, 2.618, 3.14, 3.618, 4.236) are obtained.
- Since the symmetrical counterpart of the retracement levels is used, there are two of each of the 0.618 and 0.786 lines, for a total of four.
How can it be used?
- It can be used for step buying.
- It can be used for step selling.
- Can be used to set a profit target.
- Can be used to set a stop target.
- This indicator can be used in the same way as Pivot levels can be used. You can think of this indicator like the Pivot Points Standard indicator, where you set the period more flexibly.
Which indicators can it be combined with?
- I don't think there are any limitations, but I think it is compatible with trend detection indicators, trend detection with DonchianFib, and stepped buy/sell with limit orders.
- If you want to enter a position with mismatch signals, you can wait for the DonchianFib levels to break.
- Its use is limited by your imagination :)
Where does the name come from?
- As the name suggests, Donchian Channels. I was inspired by Donchian Channels when developing the indicator. Donchian channels show the highs and lows of prices over the last x number of periods. DonchianFib does this once for every x periods and uses the fibonacci levels to create upper and intermediate levels.
Note : I don't know if such an indicator has been done before or not. If it has been done, I haven't seen it in tradingview.
Not : Daha önce böyle bir göstergenin yapılıp yapılmadığını bilmiyorum. Yapıldı ise ben tradingview'da görmedim.
MA MomentumThis simple script takes two ma's sums them and takes the the difference between the current and previous data points. This gives a lovely smoothed momentum indicator. The way it works is if its green its good and if its red its bad. In other words, I take the smooth signal as a filter for the momentum. You can also spot divergences between the indicator and the price to make decisions. Some features include extra smoothing and adjustable ma's. I hope you find this script useful!
Thank you.
Synapse Level IndexSynapse Level Index Indicator
This indicator simply allows the user to set their desired "Lookback Period",
and "Lookahead Period" in the Bars Back and Bars Ahead, Pivot Settings. Once
selected, the indicator tracks the highest high from X Bars Ahead, and the
lowest low, from Y Bars Back. Then, the indicator calculates the Mean Value.
Then, the indicator proceeds to draw the High to Low range by Eighths.
Fear and Greed increase at these levels psychologically. Volatility Ensues.

Mr. Storm
VIX/VOLI RatioWe all know TVC:VIX . But what is NASDAQ:VOLI ?
VOLI is basically a measure of expectations for market volatility over the next 30 calendar days as expressed by ATM options on AMEX:SPY
nations.com
So why is this VIX /VOLI ratio important? It's because it can give an important measure of options skew.
It can show the premium of OTM options (particularly puts) over ATM.
It can show if traders are interested in owning wings in AMEX:SPY
Not a lot of info can be taken by just looking at the ratio as a standalone nominal value. Plus, the ratio is noisy and spotting a clear trend can be hard.
For these reasons, I decided to code this indicator (which is best used on the Daily chart).
I added two EMA clouds, 7 and 12 and color code them with respect to their positions. If 7 > 12, cloud will be green. If 7 < 12, cloud will be red. This will give a better view of how the ratio is trending.
I then added a lookback period that can be changed from the indicator's setting (along with the fast and slow EMAs).
The lookback period will be used to get the following parameters:
- highest value
- lowest value
- 10th, 30th, 50th, 70th and 90th percentiles
- Percentile Rank
- Average, Median and Mode
Having all these values in a table will give a better idea of where the current ratio sits.

Volume CVD and Open InterestVolume, Cumulative Delta Volume and Open Interest are great indications of strength and sentiment in the market. Until now they have required separate indicators, but this indicator can show them all.
With a clean and aesthetic plot, this indicator has the option to choose the data source:
- Volume - the total volume of transactions, buys and sells
- Up Volume - the total volume from buys only
- Down Volume - the total volume from sells only
- Up/Down Volume (Net) - the difference in the Buy Volume and Sell Volume
- Cumulative Delta - the sum of the up/down volume for the previous 14 bars
- Cumulative Delta EMA - a smoothed average of the sum of the up/down volume for the previous 14 bars, over a 14 period EMA
- Open Interest - a user defined ticker, whose value is added to the plot, while this is designed to be used with Open Interest tickers, you can actually choose any ticker you want, perhaps you want to see DXY while charting Bitcoin!
There are several customization features for the colour of the plot, with a nice gradient colouring from high to low. You can choose the lookback which defines only the highest and lowest values for the colour gradient. There is also an option for how the Open Interest value is determined, based on Close, Open or differences between previous values.
While similar, Volume and Open Interest are not the same. To me the simplest explanation is Volume shows the trades that have been executed and the buy/sell direction, while Open Interest shows the value of open trades that are yet to be completed.
Volume shows strength, sentiment and volatility.
Open Interest does not show direction, but does indicate momentum and liquidity in the market.
Enhanced ShareGenius Swing TradingSwing Trading Strategy Features:
1. Point out candles where days low price matched 20 day low price (Blue Triangle with Yellow Bar)
2. Hollow Body candles depict days when days close is within the threshold of 20 day high (defaulted to 5%). An indication to start GTT buy orders.
3. Point out candles when GTT buy order was triggered (Light Green body)
Experimental:
1. Using tolerance to low price matching logic (instead of exact match)
As a result if the days low is within the tolerance, such candles will be highlighted with light blue triangle and yellow body
Extension %This is a tracking tool to measure two different kinds of distances:
- Gaps, from the open/close or the high/low value to the nearest open/close or high/low value.
- Price extensions of one or two candles from a preferred starting point (open, high, low or close) to a final point (open, high, low or close). The two-candles mode includes an optional rectangle to help you visualize the first and the last point of the measurement.
The script will plot a label with a percentage when the extension reaches the value you set. Unless you choose to track the one-candle price extension, the label will always be displayed on the high/low value of the second candle.
Cosmic Markers LiteThis marker-only indicator traces highest and lowest bars using 5 different periods (the first 3 in aggregation and the rest as is) for a total of 10 support and resistance signals of varying strength. Use Cosmic Markers Lite on its own or add on top of existing chart patterns or other line indicators.
Wavetrend in Dynamic Zones with Kumo Implied VolatilityI was asked to do one of those, so here we go...
As always free and open source as it should be. Do not pay for such indicators!
A WaveTrend Indicator or also widely known as "Market Cipher" is an Indicator that is based on Moving Averages, therefore its an "lagging indicator". Lagging indicators are best used in combination with leading indicators. In this script the "leading indicator" component are Daily, Weekly or Monthly Pivots . These Pivots can be used as dynamic Support and Resistance , Stoploss, Take Profit etc.
This indicator combination is best used in larger timeframes. For lower timeframes you might need to change settings to your liking.
The general Wavetrend settings are the same that are used in Market Cipher, Market Liberator and such popular indicators.
What are these circles?
-These are the WaveTrend Divergences. Red for Regular-Bearish. Orange for Hidden-Bearish. Green for Regular-Bullish. Aqua for Hidden-Bullish.
What are these white, orange and aqua triangles?
-These are the WaveTrend Pivots. A Pivot counter was added. Every time a pivot is lower than the previous one, an orange triangle is printed, every time a pivot is higher than the previous one an aqua triangle is printed. That mimics a very common way Wavetrend is being used for trading when using those other paid Wavetrend indicators.
What are these Orange and Aqua Zones?
-These are Dynamic Zones based on the indicator itself, they offer more information than static zones. Of course static lines are also included and can be adjusted.
What are the lines between the waves?
-This is a Kumo Cloud Implied Volatility indicator. It is color coded and can be used to indicate if a major market move/bottom/top happened.
What are those numbers on the right?
-The first number is a Bollinger Band indicator that shows if said Bollinger Band is in a state of Oversold/Overbought, the second number is the actual Bollinger Band Width that indicates if the Bollinger Band squeezes, normally that happens right before the market makes an explosive move.
Please keep in mind that this indicator is a tool and not a strategy, do not blindly trade signals, do your own research first! Use this indicator in conjunction with other indicators to get multiple confirmations.

SPX Expected MoveThis indicator plots the "expected move" of SPX for today's trading session. Expected move is the amount that SPX is predicted to increase or decrease from its current price, based on the current level of implied volatility. The implied volatility in this indicator is computed from the current value of the VIX (or one of several volatility symbols available on Trading view). The computation is done using standard formula. The resulting plots are labeled as 1 and 2 standard deviations. The default values are to use VIX as well as 252 trading days in the years.
Use the square root of (days to expiration, or in this case a fraction of the day remaining) divided but the square root of (252, or number of trading days in a year).
timeRemaining = math.sqrt(DTE) / math.sqrt(252)
Standard deviation move = SPX bar closing price * (VIX/100) * timeRemaining
Rate of Change Candle Standardized (ROCCS)ROCCS is a standardized rate of change oscillator with "error bars". Rate of change helps traders gauge momentum in a market by comparing the current price with the price "n" periods ago. What makes this special is you get to see the momentum of the momentum via the candle view. The candle transformation utilizes a moving average to smooth the signal however this is only used for the close price. The high and low prices are not smoothed. The moving average has an adjustable period, and so does the standardization.
I hope you can find great use in this upgraded roc indicator.
ATR & APCAverage True Range (ATR) and Average Price Change (APC). Shows the ATR and APC as well as the TR and PC for the current bar, colour coded to indicate very large/small bars. The ATR and APC are also colour coded to reflect whether they are increasing or decreasing. Style will need to be customized.
VWAP Market Session AnchoredVWAP Market Session Anchored differs from the traditional VWAP or VWAP Auto Anchored indicator in that the Volume Weighted Average Price calculation is automatically anchored to four major market session starts: Sydney, London, Tokyo, New York.
Settings
Source: the source for the VWAP calculation.
Offset: changing this number will move the VWAP either Forwards or Backwards, relative to the current market. Zero is the default.
Band: enabling this will show Standard Deviation bands.
Band Multiplier: the value the Standard Deviation bands will be multiplied by before being plotted on the chart.
Sessions : enabling the sessions will plot the respective anchored VWAP on chart.
Custom: enabling this will show a custom user-defined session.
Custom UTC : the custom session is defined by a starting UTC hour followed by the ending UTC hour.
Usage
Similar to the traditional VWAP, VWAP Market Session Anchored is a technical analysis tool used to measure the average price weighted by volume. VWAP Market Session Anchored can be used to identify the trend during a specific market session.
Limitations
When setting a custom session, be mindful that calculations are based off of the Coordinated Universal Time (UTC) time, you must convert your local time zone to UTC in order to have an accurate representation of your custom session.
It is not recommended to use this indicator on timeframes above 1 hour as market sessions only last a few hours.
