Why I'm Only Shorting Rallies in E-mini S&P 500 Futures ES1!Environment is everything. If you are a short term trader or swing trader I believe it's always important to have a bias of direction. The bears recently took the bulls punch with a decent rally off the lows and the bears fought back with vengeance. This is not my opinion, this is what my strategy tells me. In this video I go over why I'm so bearish the E-mini S&P 500 futures ES1! by using an Auto Anchored VWAP, Anchored VWAP's, 10 day simple moving average, Bollinger Bands and the RSI.

Specific Trendline to Determine the Direction of any MarketHow to identify the specific points for trendline to determine the direction of the market? In this example, I am using the Nasdaq index.
You can use this trendline technique to any markets because its principles in this tutorial are applicable throughout whether to an individual stock, indices or even commodities.
I am going to introduce the primary and secondary trendlines, I hope after this tutorial, it will bring greater clarity in how you can deploy them.

Ethereum (ETH) • The Fork rally & ongoing carry futures tradeIn this video I discuss the ongoing strong ETH rally and some of the components that is make it a very strong one.
ETH is hitting here some resistance in the books and there is aggressive short selling in the forward futures market (not the perpetual swaps)
The video goes through that is going with Futures and why it is in backwardation.
Everyone is very keen for the the 16th September and get those free coins from the fork... only to dump them after.
Expect huge volatility around those dates.

The Fork of Thrones - Will the Merge Fracture the ETH Ecosystem? The much anticipated (or dreaded if you're a miner) "merge" coming in Sep 19th will officially move the Ethereum ecosystem from proof-of-work to proof-of-stake. Justin Sun seems to see the opportunity for this event to sow some chaos within his competition by supporting ETHW and ETHS coins on the Poloniex exchanges as of this week.
- ETHW and ETHS is similar to ETC (Ethereum Classic) in the sense that they are hard-forks of the original ETH chain - which means that if you had money in a wallet during the time of the fork, you would have gotten copied coins of it there, too. (Free money!) FYI, if you had your money on an exchange during that time, however, the coins go to them, not you.
- ETC has had many issues in the past, including having gotten 51% attacked, which is probably the worst thing that can happen on any given chain. These new projects (with more likely to emerge as a result of miners looking for work after leaving ETH2) will also be vulnerable to similar attacks just because the smaller size makes it easier for hackers to target.
- A lot of developers and artists were chased off ETH due to its high-gas fee problems last year, and it's unclear if they're going to be going back, or if the foundation has any strategy of addressing this problem in the near future. (Right now the ecosystem is dominated by talks of speculators talking to other speculators about speculation - which usually is a bad sign for a project's long-term prospects.) ETH has many issues to contend with, even if the merge is successful. (Sharding and scaling issues are planned for 2023, not in September, btw - it's unclear whether or not this upgrade will have an impact on the high fees.)
- Crypto's biggest sell during a recession - staking rewards - is not available on Bitcoin, since simply doesn't have the mechanism to do so. The rivalry between the two coins right now revolves around the pros/cons of PoW vs PoS, but keep in mind that on PoW, mining power = voting power; on PoS, money = voting power. Aside from Tezos (XTZ) and a few other niche projects, most coins do not offer on-chain governance so the results of voting will always be unclear and vulnerable to manipulation/misinformation.
It's going to be a crazy year for both crypto and the general economy so hope people are prepared. Good luck, folks. 🤞
Is this recent rally a bull rebound of a bear retracement? To make an assessment if the market has turned bear, during the closing second quarter on 29th June 2022, we discussed on the topic “Using S&P to Identify Recession
and on the 19 Jul, 2 weeks ago the tutorial posted here, we studied and expecting this current rebound, topic “Nasdaq a leading indicator of Dow Jones, S&P & Russell”.
In today’s tutorial, I thought of doing a recap between the two videos and explore if the current market and its development, if it is a bull rebound heading to break another new all-time high or if it is a bear retracement?
I have included both the video links below.
Before we get into this topic, please also take some time to read through the disclaimer in the description box below.

Bulls or Bears In Control of E-mini S&P, Nasdaq, Interest Rates? When it comes to day trading the most important part of any strategy is understanding what type of market environment we are in. Are the bulls or bears currently in control of the E-mini S&P 500 ES1!, E-mini Nasdaq NQ1!, E-mini Russell 2000 RTY1! and Interest Rates? In this video I share my thoughts on who is in control and where I think the next critical areas are in those markets. I also go over my simple process for identifying the market environment using Bollinger Bands, Simple Moving Average, RSI and an Auto-Anchored VWAP to the beginning of the year.

How to Send Alerts from Tradingview to Telegram I found a new way for sending alerts from tradingview to telegram channel or telegram group by using webhook. I’ve been looking for a while and most of the ways had problems. Some of them had delays in sending the alerts and were not secure because they were using public bots. Some of them required money and were not free. Some of the ways needed coding knowledge. The way I recommend does not have these problems.
It has three simple steps:
1. Creating a telegram channel or group;
2. Creating a telegram bot by using botfather;
3. Signing in/up in pipedream.com.
I made a video for presenting my way. I hope it was helpful and if you have any questions make sure to comment so I can help you.
Thank you!
Pain + Reflection = ProgressHi Traders, welcome back to another mindset sharing video.
Whenever I go through some obstacles or failures, I always go back to this simple equation by Ray Dalio,
"Pain + Reflection = Progress"
In life, the only way to not experience any failures is to avoid them, which could be very detrimental to your personal growth.
To grow, one need to experience certain levels of pain.
To transform, one need to have a high pain threshold and tolerance.
For whatever you're going through right now, just remind yourself to not give up, and things will eventually come.
Nasdaq a leading indicator of Dow Jones, S&P and RussellHow to use related markets to complement each other? Definitely you can apply this technique to other related markets.
In this tutorial, I am seeing Nasdaq as a leading indicator for the rest may likely to follow.
i) Nasdaq bear trend was nicely formed, but not yet for the Dow Jones, S&P and Russell.
ii) Nasdaq in the short-term has also a confirmation for a rebound, and I believe the rest of the indices likely to follow subsequently.
Discussion:
• Drawing primary and secondary trendline
• Nasdaq has broken above, the rest should catch-up, why?

Has The Environment Changed in Crude Oil & E-mini S&P 500?Market Environment is key to any strategy. If we're in a bear market and the environment shifts to a sideways market (like I think we're seeing temporarily happening right now in the E-mini S&P 500 ES1!, then you have to adjust how you execute your strategy. If we're in a bull market and the market environment shifts to short term bearish or sideways like I believe we are seeing in Crude Oil CL1! and Treasuries 10Y! then you have to adjust how you execute your strategy. Remember it's not just about building a strategy, it's about becoming a great executor of your strategy. Getting better at position sizing in changing environments. In this video today I go over what I'm seeing in the market environment in ES1! NQ1! 10y1! and CL1!

2 Steps in Drawing a Downtrend Channel A buying strategy in a downtrend.
How to identify buying opportunity in a downtrend?
Not my preference to buy in a downtrend, but that does not mean we should avoid it when buying opportunity arises.
Recognizing it is a downtrend, we keep our buy position short-term; as we are going against the trend.
Discussion: Rules in constructing a downtrend parallel trendline
Rule 1 – First the downtrend line
Rule 2 – Then, its parallel

How I Use Treasury Futures To Better Execute The E-mini S&P 500Interest Rate Futures are the market leaders this year. Our technical indicators have less of an impact when the Bond & Treasury Markets are on the move and as Traders we have to be aware of when that is and how it impacts the price action in the E-mini S&P 500, E-mini Nasdaq 100 and Russell 2000 Futures. In this video I go over a simple, but effective way I use the 10 YR Futures ZN1! & the Micro 10 YR Treasury Futures 10Y1! to better execute the Indexes.
To learn more about the Futures Products discussed in the video please check out CME Group's Website. I also mention that I trade futures on TradingView using TradeStation so please go to TradingView's website or TradeStation's website to learn more.

Key Technical Areas In The E-mini S&P, Nasdaq & Russell 2000We're in a phase of the markets where the E-mini S&P 500, E-mini Nasdaq 100 & E-mini Russell 2000 Futures are all moving together without divergences. This is a good look for Index traders because when the Indexes are working together we get cleaner moves. In this video I go over the key technical areas I am seeing in these Indexes and how I now have a line in the sand for the bulls to hold. In the video I use Bollinger Bands, Anchored VWAP, 10 day simple moving average and my Beacon Indicator (it's free and open source here on TradingView).
I mentioned in the video I am using Micro Futures to execute some of these trades. To learn more about these products go to CME Group's website. I am also executing my futures on TradeStation which you can connect to TradingView to trade spot, futures and crypto. To learn more you can go to TradeStation dot com/anthony.
