Powell and SPY, BFFsNo matter what Powell says today I believe it's a buy. SPY will forgive him after he hurts it and then we move up to new highs. I could be wrong but that seems to be the current relationship. Under 412 and SPY may be holding a grudge. All other market analysis from yesterday still looks ok, just wanted to update thoughts on the SPX500. Good luck!

ES1! look for it to move lower 8.20.22 A few weeks ago I posted on the ES and the Russell futures that the bullish swing we were observing with likely turn into a reversal and a significant move lower...Because we were likely in a bear market that would go considerably lower. My characterization of the market at the beginning of this video was not clear. We've had a bull market since 2009, the market did trade lower off the top creating lower lows and lower highs, and this last swing higher is likely to create a much larger swing lower. In the meantime, bear markets offer opportunities the consequence for buyers. Send a lot of time talking about range boxes and grids. I spent a lot of time emphasizing the importance of selecting your tools carefully. Simply deciding to use the tool such as an ocelot, and not understanding how counterproductive and out of sync certain tools can be to a trading strategy can be enormously detrimental to your results. In my opinion, even if you used tools that I would not use in my training, it is still worthwhile going through the rationale because you may find many conflicts, and potentially counterproductive decisions that could have been avoided with a little more introspection. A good trading system is more complicated than designating an entry, a stop and a target.
Rty1! ES8.13.22 The Russell and the ES have foolish Swings, but the bigger pattern suggests that these markets will move lower and possibly make new lows. The bigger picture is that we are probably in a significant bear market....And I would be waiting for my trigger too short....As well as taking profits on the swing higher.
es118. 2. 22 ES1! I am a big fan of range boxes and grids. It started with range boxes for me, and then it evolved into grids. However, there are some caveats to this, and that's what I'm explaining on this video. When you trade a grid or a range box, it is very important that you are trading with enough range, and you must be objective about it. Generally, if you have sufficient range in a box, you have a good chance a winning trade with a good risk and reward. My method of charting accommodates markets that range and then double the rain higher or lower. In other words, I take more extremes into account. I can only imagine that most traders who don't have any experience with range boxes, would find this too subjective and too unreliable. I don't think they're right, but if you try to get me to put harmonic patterns onto my chart, I'm not going to do it... even if you can show me that you make profits with it. Range boxes are so simple I would suggest it is worth a few weeks of Effort before you ignore the possibilities. I can trade without range boxes for cribs, it's sometimes it's easier to use them. As with every other tool, you still have to make discretionary decisions as a trader. I am sorry about the background noise in the video, I had a fan too close to me, but I decided to post the video because I got enough of my points through, and there will be follow up on this so I don't have to repeat this video again. I'm thinking of drawing the grid did I refer to and posting it below this video when I have time. You don't have to have perfect boxes for perfect grits, you have to have realistic expectations for your stops and your rewards and charting it helps you make those decisions.

ES1!8. 2. 22 I'm looking for the ES To start moving lower the small stop. The market news is Bearish, Walmart and PB Have bearish news, and there are indications that we are entering into a recession with higher interest rates, and probably lower employment this is a very dangerous time for the markets.
Bulls or Bears In Control of E-mini S&P, Nasdaq, Interest Rates? When it comes to day trading the most important part of any strategy is understanding what type of market environment we are in. Are the bulls or bears currently in control of the E-mini S&P 500 ES1!, E-mini Nasdaq NQ1!, E-mini Russell 2000 RTY1! and Interest Rates? In this video I share my thoughts on who is in control and where I think the next critical areas are in those markets. I also go over my simple process for identifying the market environment using Bollinger Bands, Simple Moving Average, RSI and an Auto-Anchored VWAP to the beginning of the year.
