Trend Following Moron TFM 10% System
Trend Following Moron TFM 10% System
The TFM 10% Market Timing System
The Trend Following Moron TFM 10% System is a powerful trading tool designed using Pine Script™, following the principles outlined by Dave S. Landry. This script helps traders identify optimal entry and exit points based on moving averages and market trends.
What the Script Does:
Visual representation of trend strength.
As long as it is trending in green band, trend is very strong and price is contained within 5% of the high.
As price drops to yellow band, strength is weakening and caution is advised. Price is between 5% to 10% away from52 week high.
As price drops in red band, it is to be avoided as trend is rolling over. Price is more than 10% way from 52 week high.
Moving Averages Calculation:
Users can choose between Simple Moving Average (SMA) and Exponential Moving Average (EMA) for daily, weekly, and monthly periods. The script calculates the moving averages to provide trend direction.
Trend Color Coding:
Moving averages are displayed in different colors based on market conditions: green indicates an uptrend, red for a downtrend, and gray for neutral conditions.
Highs Calculation:
The script calculates the 52-week and 12-month closing highs, which are crucial for identifying potential breakout points.
Level Definition:
Traders can set levels based on either Average True Range (ATR) or percentage changes from these highs, allowing for flexible risk management strategies.
Buy and Sell Conditions:
The script defines specific buy conditions: when the price is within 10% of the highest close and trading above the moving averages, and sell conditions: when the price falls below these thresholds.
Visual Indicators:
Buy and sell signals are visually represented on the chart with arrows, making it easy for traders to see potential trading opportunities at a glance.
Performance Labels:
The script includes performance labels that track the number of bars above or below the moving averages and the percentage change from the moving average, providing users with key metrics to evaluate their trades.
Interactive Table:
A table summarizing the buy and sell rules is displayed on the chart, ensuring that traders have quick access to the system’s trading logic.
Benefits of Using the TFM 10% System:
Streamlined Decision Making:
The script simplifies the trading process by clearly outlining buy and sell signals, making it accessible even for novice traders.
Customizable Parameters:
Users can tailor the script to their preferences by adjusting moving average types and lengths, ATR levels, and percentage thresholds. Bands are interchange able for ATR and Percent below 52 week high for volatility looks. But buy and sell are fixed in 10% threshold.
Risk Management:
By utilizing ATR and percentage levels, traders can effectively manage their risk, making the trading process more systematic.
Comprehensive Market Analysis:
The combination of multiple time frames (daily, weekly, monthly) allows for a well-rounded analysis of market trends, enhancing trading accuracy.
Indicators and strategies
Leonid's Bitcoin Sharpe RatioThe Sharpe ratio is an old formula used to value the risk-adjusted return of an asset. It was developed by Nobel Laureate William F. Sharpe. In this case, I have applied it to Bitcoin with an adjustable look-back date.
The Sharpe Ratio shows you the average return earned after subtracting out the risk-free rate per unit of volatility (I've defaulted this to 0.02 ).
Volatility is a measure of the price fluctuations of an asset or portfolio. Subtracting the risk-free rate from the mean return allows you to understand what the extra returns are for taking the risk.
If the indicator is flashing red, Bitcoin is temporarily overbought (expensive).
If the indicator is flashing green, Bitcoin is temporarily oversold (cheap).
The goal of this indicator is to signal out local tops & bottoms. It can be adjusted as far as the lookback time but I have found 25-26 days to be ideal.
bar_index inspectorThis is a tool for developers who are working with index based plots and find themselves adding the bar_index to their indicators on a regular basis during development and debugging.
What it does:
shows the bar_index in the status line and data window.
plots optional labels (bar index + time) into the chart every 10 bars
Custom 4-Hour Candle Colors with Opening Price LinesDescription:
This indicator enhances the visual clarity of 4-hour candles by allowing users to assign custom colors to each 4-hour time block on their chart. It also provides the option to plot horizontal lines at the opening price of each 4-hour candle, with the lines extending for a customizable duration (up to 36 hours), making it easy to track the opening price levels over time.
Features:
Custom 4-Hour Candle Colors: Define unique colors for each 4-hour candle block on the chart. You can configure the colors for six different 4-hour periods, making it easier to visually differentiate between different parts of the trading day.
Opening Price Lines: The indicator plots horizontal lines at the opening price of each 4-hour candle, with the option to extend the lines for up to 36 hours into the future. The lines can also have different colors, which you can configure separately for each time block.
Flexible Time Configuration: Set custom open times for each 4-hour candle block, allowing you to adjust the indicator to match specific market sessions or time zones.
Fully Customizable: Choose both the candle colors and the opening price line colors independently for each 4-hour period. This allows for a highly personalized chart setup.
Use Cases:
Session Tracking: Easily track different trading sessions by assigning specific colors to different time periods.
Key Price Levels: Keep an eye on important opening price levels throughout the day by extending opening price lines into the future.
Visual Organization: For traders who prefer color-coded charts for improved readability, this indicator helps to organize trading days visually by color-blocking each time segment.
Important Notes:
Due to TradingView’s limitations, the opening price lines can only extend up to 500 bars into the future. The indicator automatically limits the duration of the lines to this maximum.
The script is designed to be flexible and user-friendly, allowing for easy adjustments to suit different trading styles and market conditions.

Grade Table
• S/R Level 1: distance between neckline and 1st resistance area in % of the total distance between neckline and take profit. This is not for road blocks but pivot points etc before the initial run up/down in price. I have this set to 30% , this means that if there is a pivot point between the neckline and 30% of the TP level I weight it negatively.
• S/R Level 2: distance between neckline and 1st resistance area in % of the total distance between neckline and take profit. This is not for road blocks but pivot points etc before the initial run up/down in price. I have this set to 50% , this means that if there is a pivot point between the neckline and 50% of the TP level 2 weight it negatively but less so than level 1.
• S/R Level 3: distance between neckline and 1st resistance area in % of the total distance between neckline and take profit. This is not for road blocks but pivot points etc before the initial run up/down in price. I have this set to 70% , this means that if there is a pivot point between the neckline and 70% of the TP level 3 weight it negatively but less so than level 1 & level 2.
• Checkboxes are self explanatory, they are binary options, all are weighted negatively if checked and are weighted positively if unchecked. Divergence values for weighting are neutral if unckecked & weighted positively if checked.
• The select options are neutral weighting if set to neutral , if set to For its weighted positive and set to Against weighted negatively.
Technical Specification of the Scoring and Band System
Overview
The scoring system is designed to evaluate a set of technical trade conditions, assigning weights to various criteria that influence the quality of the trade. The system calculates a total score based on both positive and negative conditions. Based on the final score, the system assigns a grade or band (A, B, or C) for positive scores, and a "Negative" label for negative scores.
Scoring System
The system calculates the score by evaluating a set of 12 conditions (gradeCondition1 to gradeCondition12). These conditions are manually input by the user via checkboxes or dropdowns in a technical indicator (written in Pine Script for TradingView). The score weights vary according to the relative importance of each condition.
Condition Breakdown and Weighting:
1. Divergences (GradeCondition1 & GradeCondition2):
◦ 1H Divergence: +5 points if condition is true.
◦ 4H Divergence: +10 points if condition is true (stronger weight than 1H).
2. Support/Resistance at Neckline (GradeCondition3):
◦ Negative if present: -15 points if true (carries significant negative weight).
3. RB near Entry (GradeCondition4):
◦ Very Negative: -20 points if true (this is a critical negative condition).
4. RB can Manage (GradeCondition5):
◦ Slightly Negative: -5 points if true.
5. Institutional Value Zones (GradeCondition6 to GradeCondition8):
◦ For the trade: +5 points.
◦ Against the trade: -5 points.
◦ Neutral: 0 points.
6. S/R between Neckline & Targets (GradeCondition9 to GradeCondition11):
◦ Level 1: -10 points if true, +7 points if false.
◦ Level 2: -7 points if true, +7 points if false.
◦ Level 3: -5 points if true, +7 points if false.
◦ Use fib tool or Gann Box to measure any S/R levels setup according to your preferences.
7. News Timing (GradeCondition12):
◦ News within 3 hours: -20 points if true (strong negative factor).
◦ No upcoming news: +10 points if false.
Scoring Calculation Formula:
totalScore = score1 + score2 + score3 + score4 + score5 + score6 + score7 + score8 + score9 + score10 + score11 + score12
Where:
• score1 to score12 represent the points derived from the conditions described above.
Coloring and Visual Feedback:
• Positive Scores: Displayed in green.
• Negative Scores: Displayed in red.
Band System
The Band System classifies the total score into different grades, depending on the final value of totalScore. This classification provides an intuitive ranking for trades, helping users quickly assess trade quality.
Band Classification:
• Band A: If the totalScore is 41 or more.
◦ Represents a highly favorable trade setup.
• Band B: If the totalScore is between 21 and 40.
◦ Represents a favorable trade setup with good potential.
• Band C: If the totalScore is between 1 and 20.
◦ Represents a trade setup that is acceptable but may have risks.
• Negative: If the totalScore is 0 or less.
◦ Represents a poor trade setup with significant risks or unfavorable conditions.
Band Calculation Logic (in Pine Script):
var string grade = ""
if (totalScore >= 41)
grade := "Band A"
else if (totalScore >= 21)
grade := "Band B"
else if (totalScore >= 1)
grade := "Band C"
else
grade := "Negative"
Technical Key Points:
• Highly Negative Conditions:
◦ The system penalizes certain conditions more heavily, especially those that suggest significant risks (e.g., News in less than 3 hours, RB near Entry).
• Positive Trade Conditions:
◦ Divergences, Institutional Value Zones in favor of the trade, and lack of significant nearby resistance all contribute positively to the score.
• Flexible System:
◦ The system can be adapted or fine-tuned by adjusting the weights of individual conditions according to trading preferences.
Use Case Example:
• If a trade has 1H and 4H Divergence, RB near Entry (negative), and no upcoming news:
◦ 1H Divergence: +5 points.
◦ 4H Divergence: +10 points.
◦ RB near Entry: -20 points.
◦ No news: +10 points.
◦ Total Score: 5 + 10 - 20 + 10 = 5 → Band C.
This modular and flexible scoring system allows traders to systematically evaluate trades and quickly gauge the trade's potential based on technical indicators
Summary:
Maximum Score: 61
Minimum Score: -97
These are the bounds of the score range based on the current logic of the script.
Crossover CounterExplanation:
Crossover Detection: We detect the crossover of the 20-period and 50-period moving averages using ta.crossover().
Tracking Price Movement: After the crossover, we start tracking the price to check if it moves up or down by 2%. If an up movement occurs before a down movement, we increment the positive counter. If a down movement occurs first, we increment the negative counter.
Reset Condition: Once either a 2% up or down move is detected, we stop tracking until the next crossover.
Table Display: A table shows the counts of positive and negative events.
Bitcoin Cycle Master [InvestorUnknown]The "Bitcoin Cycle Master" indicator is designed for in-depth, long-term analysis of Bitcoin's price cycles, using several key metrics to track market behavior and forecast potential price tops and bottoms. The indicator integrates multiple moving averages and on-chain metrics, offering a comprehensive view of Bitcoin’s historical and projected performance. Each of its components plays a crucial role in identifying critical cycle points:
Top Cap: This is a multiple of the Average Cap, which is calculated as the cumulative sum of Bitcoin’s price (price has a longer history than Market Cap) divided by its age in days. Top Cap serves as an upper boundary for speculative price peaks, multiplied by a factor of 35.
Time_dif() =>
date = ta.valuewhen(bar_index == 0, time, 0)
sec_r = math.floor(date / 1000)
min_r = math.floor(sec_r / 60)
h_r = math.floor(min_r / 60)
d_r = math.floor(h_r / 24)
// Launch of BTC
start = timestamp(2009, 1, 3, 00, 00)
sec_rb = math.floor(start / 1000)
min_rb = math.floor(sec_rb / 60)
h_rb = math.floor(min_rb / 60)
d_rb = math.floor(h_rb / 24)
difference = d_r - d_rb
AverageCap() =>
ta.cum(btc_price) / (Time_dif() + btc_age)
TopCap() =>
// To calculate Top Cap, it is first necessary to calculate Average Cap, which is the cumulative sum of Market Cap divided by the age of the market in days.
// This creates a constant time-based moving average of market cap.
// Once Average cap is calculated, those values are multiplied by 35. The result is Top Cap.
// For AverageCap the BTC price was used instead of the MC because it has more history
// (the result should have minimal if any deviation since MC would have to be divided by Supply)
AverageCap() * 35
Delta Top: Defined as the difference between the Realized Cap and the Average Cap, this metric is further multiplied by a factor of 7. Delta Top provides a historically reliable signal for Bitcoin market cycle tops.
DeltaTop() =>
// Delta Cap = Realized Cap - Average Cap
// Average Cap is explained in the Top Cap section above.
// Once Delta Cap is calculated, its values over time are then multiplied by 7. The result is Delta Top.
(RealizedPrice() - AverageCap()) * 7
Terminal Price: Derived from Coin Days Destroyed, Terminal Price normalizes Bitcoin’s historical price behavior by its finite supply (21 million bitcoins), offering an adjusted price forecast as all bitcoins approach being mined. The original formula for Terminal Price didn’t produce expected results, hence the calculation was adjusted slightly.
CVDD() =>
// CVDD stands for Cumulative Value Coin Days Destroyed.
// Coin Days Destroyed is a term used for bitcoin to identify a value of sorts to UTXO’s (unspent transaction outputs). They can be thought of as coins moving between wallets.
(MCR - TV) / 21000000
TerminalPrice() =>
// Theory:
// Before Terminal price is calculated, it is first necessary to calculate Transferred Price.
// Transferred price takes the sum of > Coin Days Destroyed and divides it by the existing supply of bitcoin and the time it has been in circulation.
// The value of Transferred Price is then multiplied by 21. Remember that there can only ever be 21 million bitcoin mined.
// This creates a 'terminal' value as the supply is all mined, a kind of reverse supply adjustment.
// Instead of heavily weighting later behavior, it normalizes historical behavior to today. By normalizing by 21, a terminal value is created
// Unfortunately the theoretical calculation didn't produce results it should, in pinescript.
// Therefore the calculation was slightly adjusted/improvised
TransferredPrice = CVDD() / (Supply * math.log(btc_age))
tp = TransferredPrice * 210000000 * 3
Realized Price: Calculated as the Market Cap Realized divided by the current supply of Bitcoin, this metric shows the average value of Bitcoin based on the price at which coins last moved, giving a market consensus price for long-term holders.
CVDD (Cumulative Value Coin Days Destroyed): This on-chain metric analyzes Bitcoin’s UTXOs (unspent transaction outputs) and the velocity of coins moving between wallets. It highlights key market dynamics during prolonged accumulation or distribution phases.
Balanced Price: The Balanced Price is the difference between the Realized Price and the Terminal Price, adjusted by Bitcoin's supply constraints. This metric provides a useful signal for identifying oversold market conditions during bear markets.
BalancedPrice() =>
// It is calculated by subtracting Transferred Price from Realized Price
RealizedPrice() - (TerminalPrice() / (21 * 3))
Each component can be toggled individually, allowing users to focus on specific aspects of Bitcoin’s price cycle and derive meaningful insights from its long-term behavior. The combination of these models provides a well-rounded view of both speculative peaks and long-term value trends.
Important consideration:
Top Cap did historically provide reliable signals for cycle peaks, however it may not be a relevant indication of peaks in the future.
Fibonacci Levels with StatsPrimary Usage:
Drawing Fibonacci Retracements
Based on the past highs and lows, Fibonacci retracement levels (23.6%, 38.2%, 50%, 61.8%, 78.6%) are calculated and displayed on the chart. The Fibonacci levels are different for positive and negative lines, respectively.
Statistical Counting Function
Records the number of times each Fibonacci level is exceeded and tracks how often price reaches that level. This data can be useful for future price forecasting.
Cueing Symbols by Pattern Matching
Symbols are added to the queue when each Fibonacci level is exceeded. Depending on whether the price is positive or negative, different symbols (1, 2, 3, etc.) are assigned, which are used to predict the next move.
Change background color
Based on the number of times the price exceeds the Fibonacci level, the background color will change to green or red. The intensity of the color changes according to the number of consecutive times the price has exceeded the Fibonacci level.
Cue Size Limitations
Past symbols are added to the queue, but a size limit is set and old symbols are deleted when the queue exceeds a certain size.
Prediction Logic
Pattern matching is used to predict the next symbol based on patterns of past symbols.
Momentum-Based Buy/Sell SignalsBuy Signal:
Triggered when ROC > threshold and the MACD line crosses above the Signal line.
Sell Signal:
Triggered when ROC < threshold and the MACD line crosses below the Signal line.
Visual Elements:
Green labels with "Buy" are displayed below the bars for buy signals.
Red labels with "Sell" are displayed above the bars for sell signals.
The background turns green during a buy signal and red during a sell signal for better visual clarity.

V20 with Prices- Ashish SinghV20 with Prices
The V20 with Prices strategy is a unique tool designed to assist traders in identifying potential buy and sell levels by analyzing continuous bullish price movements (green candles). This strategy tracks streaks of green candles and calculates key price levels based on the highest and lowest points during the streak. It highlights potential reversal points, giving traders insights into where they could consider buying or selling based on price movement thresholds.
Key Features:
Tracking Green Candle Streaks: The V20 with Prices strategy identifies sequences of continuous green candles and captures the lowest price and highest price within the streak, helping traders identify potential turning points in an uptrend.
Next Buy and Sell Levels: After a streak of green candles ends, the strategy highlights:
Next Buy at: The lowest price of the streak, indicating a potential re-entry point if the price revisits this level.
Next Sell at: The highest price of the streak, indicating a potential profit-taking point if the price reaches this level again.
Both of these price levels are displayed on the chart, and traders can choose whether to show these levels via customizable input settings.
Movement Percentage Highlight: The strategy calculates the percentage movement between the lowest and highest prices in the streak. If the movement exceeds the user-defined threshold (default is 20%), it highlights these candles with a green background, allowing traders to quickly identify significant price movements.
Customizable Price Display: Users can toggle the display of the Next Buy at and Next Sell at price levels through input settings, providing full control over what is shown on the chart.
How It Works:
Green Candle Tracking: The strategy identifies a streak of green candles where the close price is higher than the open price. During this streak, the lowest low and highest high are tracked.
Price Movement Threshold: If the movement between the lowest low and highest high exceeds the user-defined threshold, the candles are highlighted with a green background.
Key Levels: After a streak of green candles ends (when a red candle appears), the Next Buy at and Next Sell at levels are stored and displayed, giving traders clear reference points for future price action.
How to Use:
Movement Threshold: Customize the movement threshold to filter significant price moves. A higher threshold reduces sensitivity to small movements, while a lower threshold increases sensitivity.
Customizable Price Display: Toggle the display of key price levels to match your trading style.
Ideal Use Cases:
Trend-following: The strategy is perfect for traders looking to identify potential re-entry points during an uptrend or take-profit points as the price reaches new highs.
Retracement Trading: Traders can monitor the Next Buy at level to capitalize on price retracements after strong upward movements.
Important Notes:
Disclaimer: This strategy is for informational purposes only and is not intended as financial advice or a buy/sell recommendation. Traders should always perform their own analysis before making any trading decisions.
Non-Repainting: This strategy does not repaint, ensuring that all displayed levels are based on actual price action.
Open Source: The logic and source code are transparent, allowing traders to modify the strategy if needed.

WPR Volume Candle [Atareum]AWPRVC (Atareum WPR Volume Candles) is clearly an awesome indicator produced by AtareumFX that is based on William’s Percent Range concepts by combination with volume. This is a new approach of volume candles that is combined with R% concepts and creates such a powerful tool to trace the market and assists traders to make better decisions surly and so much accurate. You can find this new indicator more useful because it has all benefits and advantages of William’s R% and cover its disadvantages. Also it is more powerful because of using volume in its calculations and generate a new candles which is more reliable and trustworthy.
Concept:
Using William’s Percent leading periods and calculations on redesigning new candles in combination with volume, that makes unique reform candles, but these new candles with their new cloud system clearly response to any reasonable price movement with so much information.
As you know if use R% there are some misleading fake signals generate by oscillator, also it could not show any sign of price moving trend which is almost confusing for beginners or even a pro trader! And finally this oscillator is so sensitive to price change that is so creepy to use for most of traders.
This new AWPRVC solve the problem and make all of them handy and useful for you.
The cloud system which is designed in AWPRVC shows the price trend moving from Bearish Zone (-100 to -50 percent) to Bullish Zone (-50 to 0 percent). You can trust the lead moving forward of the clouds in two separate Top and Bottom (Bull and Bear) lines which solely determine the trend and power of price moving. When clouds are close to each other means we continue the trend and when they get far away from each other means we will face powerful trend in near future. If they are in Bearish Zone we continue the selling pressure and vice versa. Following picture shows good sample of Long and Short positions in compare with so many fake signals generated on original R%.
Besides the cloud system of AWPRVC which is clearly show the price trend and it is completely enough for being sure about price moving trend, you can use moving average which is designated in it to confirm the price trend, also.
Also you can see this new AWPRVC candle by using volume within its conformation, make reasonable price candles which is no so sensitive and so creepy and make your decisions come true in peace and clear sense of market moves. You can see following picture which is showing although the real price candles are so unclear and nonsense of making decision but the AWPRVC candles lead you to make true and trustable position.
As you see this new combination of Williams R% oscillator with volume and also generating a perfect new cloud system will clearly help traders even pro to trust the signals and understand whole market movement better and all of original problems of R% solved and even make a most powerful, trustworthy and useful new indicator.
Parameters:
Section 1 : Candle colour setting for flourishing just as you desire !
Section 2 : Defining Periods of R% and source of candle data in combination with determining the smoothing type of moving averages and signal period.
Section 3 : Select using Standard candles alongside with redesigned cloud calculation type and three additional moving averages which can plot on each newly generated candles and standard candles on a chart with the type mode defined in the previous section.
Note: if you want to omit any or all of these moving averages, you can use 0 in period, instead of selecting "None" in the plot moving option!
Usage :
Overall:
Regardless of the additional moving averages which will lead to so many situations of market according to their types and designs, that is four different period for new redesign AWPRVC and three period for standard chart. You can easily select periods and type for these moving averages. Also, do not forget that signal moving averages is shown only on AWPRVC chart and have two different colour for upward and downward trends. Other moving averages are plot by just one single colour.
Cloud levels are so important because AWPRVC candles show respect to them and when they break the clouds upward or downward it is surly beginning of a trend. Do not forget we have 5 levels for tracing new AWPRVC candles move as follows : Ready for Short \ Long, Surly Short \ Long and Turn Trend which is in middle range of movement percent. Each level clearly shows what it means by its name.
Support and Resistance:
Any consolidation of AWPRVC candles in Ready for Short or Long Zones means the support or resistance level due to its nature, but important thing is how long the candles lasts in there or how many times repeated in the same level in AWPRVC chart zone in future.
For plotting the support or resistance you should trace range of AWPRVC candles consolidated and plot zone in standard chart candles just like following picture.
Divergence:
When standard price candles move downward but we see upward trend in clouds of AWPRVC candles that means we should face Bullish Trend because of the divergence and vice versa. You can see perfect example in following picture.
Signal:
Alert of Long :
Bullish candle cross both cloud down and up level simultaneously.
Confirmed Long :
AWPRVC candles cross up turn trend level and pullback to cloud up level.
Take profit of Long:
Any cross down of the AWPRVC candles from surly short level of chart.
Alert of Short :
Bearish candle cross both cloud up and down level simultaneously.
Confirmed Short :
AWPRVC candles cross down turn trend level and pullback to cloud down level.
Take profit of Short:
Any cross up of the AWPRVC candles from surly long level of chart.
Notes:
Use moving averages cross of standard chart candles as lead to be in positions more as they are good representative of trend.
As long as AWPRVC candles or Cloud levels are in Bullish Zone, you can stay in Long positions.
Cloud level thickness means the power of trend and can be use as confirmation of powerful trend, so when cloud levels tight or going to cross each other it means the trend is going to be reversed.
It is the result of many years of experience in markets and there are so many details about this AWPRVC chart which I am in the experiment phase to publish in the future, so please help me with your ideas and do not hesitate to comment and inform me any suggestions or criticism.
Theoretical price by volumeThis code is used to calculate a theoretical price range based on volume and price change and display it on the chart. Specifically, it calculates the “theoretical price volatility” based on price changes and volume, from which the upper and lower price limits are derived.
The price volatility is calculated by dividing the price change by the volume as the change unit volume.
Based on this volatility, we calculate the theoretical variation relative to the current price (“Theoretical Variance Difference”).
Based on the results, **Theoretical High Price (p_price) and Theoretical Low Price (m_price)** are calculated.
The chart displays the upper and lower bounds of these theoretical prices in color, and also calculates their mean and standard deviation (in the form of a Bollinger band) and plots them.
The background color on the chart indicates whether the price is within the theoretical price range, and at the same time, the mean and standard deviation of the theoretical prices are used to visualize price movements in more detail.
This indicator helps traders understand the impact of volume on price movements and helps them determine if prices are staying within the theoretical range or if there are unusual movements.
Pivot-based Swing Highs and LowsRelease Notes for Pivot-based Swing Highs and Lows Indicator with HH, HL, LH, LL and Labels
Version 1.0.0
Release Date: 29th Sept 2024
Overview:
This Pine Script version 5 indicator is designed to identify and display Swing Highs and Swing Lows based on pivot points. The indicator visually marks Higher Highs (HH), Lower Highs (LH), Higher Lows (HL), and Lower Lows (LL) on the chart. The release introduces an improved visual representation with dotted lines and colored labels for easy identification of market structure, using plotshape() and line.new().
Key Features:
1. Pivot-Based Swing Identification:
The indicator uses ta.pivothigh() and ta.pivotlow() to detect significant pivot points on the chart.
The length of the pivot can be adjusted through the pivot_length parameter, allowing users to customize the sensitivity of swing identification.
2. Swing Highs and Lows with Labels:
Higher High (HH) and Lower High (LH) points are marked with green downward triangles.
Higher Low (HL) and Lower Low (LL) points are marked with red upward triangles.
The plotshape() function is used to provide clear visual markers, making it easy to spot the changes in market structure.
3. Dotted Line Visuals:
Green Dotted Lines: Connect Higher Highs (HH) and Higher Lows (HL) to their corresponding previous swings.
Red Dotted Lines: Connect Lower Highs (LH) and Lower Lows (LL) to their corresponding previous swings.
The use of color-coded dotted lines ensures better visual understanding of the trend continuation or reversal patterns.
4. Customizable Input:
The user can adjust the pivot_length parameter to fine-tune the detection of pivot highs and lows according to different timeframes or trading strategies.
Usage:
Higher High (HH): Green downward triangle, indicating a new high compared to the previous pivot high.
Lower High (LH): Green downward triangle, indicating a lower high compared to the previous pivot high.
Higher Low (HL): Red upward triangle, indicating a higher low compared to the previous pivot low.
Lower Low (LL): Red upward triangle, indicating a new lower low compared to the previous pivot low.
Dotted Lines: Connect previous swing points, helping users visualize the trend and potential market structure changes.
Improvements:
Label Substitution: In place of label.new() (which might cause issues in some environments), the indicator now uses plotshape() to provide a reliable and visually effective solution for marking swings.
Streamlined Performance: The logic for determining higher highs, lower highs, higher lows, and lower lows has been optimized for smooth performance across multiple timeframes.
Known Limitations:
No Direct Text Labels: Due to the constraints of plotshape(), text labels like "HH", "LH", "HL", and "LL" are not directly displayed. Instead, color-coded shapes are used for easy identification.
How to Use:
Apply the script to your chart via the TradingView Pine Editor.
Customize the pivot_length to suit your trading style or the timeframe you are analyzing.
Monitor the chart for marked Higher Highs, Lower Highs, Higher Lows, and Lower Lows for potential trend continuation or reversal opportunities.
Use the dotted lines to trace the evolution of market structure.

Wick/Tail Candle MeasurementsThis indicator runs on trading view. It was programmed with pine script v5.
Once the indicator is running you can scroll your chart to any year or date on the chart, then for the input select the date your interested in knowing the length of the tails and wicks from a bar and their lengths are measured in points.
To move the measurement, you can select the vertical bar built into the indicator AFTER clicking the green label and moving it around using the vertical bar *only*. You must click the vertical bar in the middle of the label to move the indicator calculation to another bar. You can also just select the date using the input as mentioned. This indicator calculates just one bar at a time.
measurements are from bar OPEN to bar HIGH for measured WICKS regardless of the bar being long or short and from bar OPEN to bar LOW for measured TAILS also regardless of the bar being long or short.
This indicator calculates tails and wicks including the bar body in the calculations. Basically showing you how much the market moved in a certain direction for the entire duration of that Doji candle.
Its designed to measure completed bars on the daily futures charts. (Dow Jones, ES&P500, Nasdaq, Russell 2000, etc) Although it may work well on other markets. The indicator could easily be tweaked in order to work well with other markets. It is not designed for forex markets currently.
ANN Trend PredictionThis trend indicator utilizes an artificial neural network (ANN) to predict the next market reversal within a certain range of previous candles. The larger the range of previous candles you set, the fewer reversals will be predicted, and trends will tend to last longer.
The ANN is trained on the BTCUSD 4-hour chart, so using it on other assets or timeframes may yield suboptimal results. It takes three input values: the closing price, the Stochastic RSI, and a Choppiness Indicator. Based on these inputs, the ANN categorizes the current candle as part of an uptrend, downtrend, or as undefined.
Compared to an EMA-based trend indicator, this ANN identifies reversals several candles earlier. It achieves this by detecting subtle patterns in the input values that typically appear before a market turnaround. These patterns are somewhat specific to that chosen asset and timeframe.
The results are displayed using rows of triangles that indicate the predicted price direction. The price levels of the triangles correspond to the closing price at the last reversal. The area between the triangle row and the price is colored green if the ANN correctly predicted the move, and red if it did not.
This indicator is designed to showcase the capabilities and potential of ANNs, and is not intended for actual trading use. The ANN can be trained on any other input values, assets and timeframes for several predictions tasks.
You can use the Predicted_Trend_Signal of this Indicator in any backtest indicator. In the Backtester just grap the Predicted_Trend_Signal. downtrend = 1, uptrend = -1, undefined = 0

Burst PowerThe Burst Power indicator is to be used for Indian markets where most stocks have a maximum price band limit of 20%.
This indicator is intended to identify stocks with high potential for significant price movements. By analysing historical price action over a user-defined lookback period, it calculates a Burst Power score that reflects the stock's propensity for rapid and substantial moves. This can be helpful for stock selection in strategies involving momentum bursts, swing trading, or identifying stocks with explosive potential.
Key Components
____________________
Significant Move Counts:
5% Moves: Counts the number of days within the lookback period where the stock had a positive close-to-close move between 5% and 10%.
10% Moves: Counts the number of days with a positive close-to-close move between 10% and 19%.
19% Moves: Counts the number of days with a positive close-to-close move of 19% or more.
Maximum Price Move (%):
Identifies the largest positive close-to-close percentage move within the lookback period, along with the date it occurred.
Burst Power Score:
A composite score calculated using the counts of significant moves: Burst Power =(Count5%/5) +(Count10%/2) + (Count19%/0.5)
The score is then rounded to the nearest whole number.
A higher Burst Power score indicates a higher frequency of significant price bursts.
Visual Indicators:
Table Display: Presents all the calculated data in a customisable table on the chart.
Markers on Chart: Plots markers on the chart where significant moves occurred, aiding visual analysis.
Using the Lookback Period
____________________________
The lookback period determines how much historical data the indicator analyses. Users can select from predefined options:
3 Months
6 Months
1 Year
3 Years
5 Years
A shorter lookback period focuses on recent price action, which may be more relevant for short-term trading strategies. A longer lookback period provides a broader historical context, useful for identifying long-term patterns and behaviors.
Interpreting the Burst Power Score
__________________________________
High Burst Power Score (≥15):
Indicates the stock frequently experiences significant price moves.
Suitable for traders seeking quick momentum bursts and swing trading opportunities.
Stocks with high scores may be more volatile but offer potential for rapid gains.
Moderate Burst Power Score (10 to 14):
Suggests occasional significant price movements.
May suit traders looking for a balance between volatility and stability.
Low Burst Power Score (<10):
Reflects fewer significant price bursts.
Stocks are more likely to exhibit longer, sustainable, but slower price trends.
May be preferred by traders focusing on steady growth or longer-term investments.
Note: Trading involves uncertainties, and the Burst Power score should be considered as one of many factors in a comprehensive trading strategy. It is essential to incorporate broader market analysis and risk management practices.
Customisation Options
_________________________
The indicator offers several customisation settings to tailor the display and functionality to individual preferences:
Display Mode:
Full Mode: Shows the detailed table with all components, including significant move counts, maximum price move, and the Burst Power score.
Mini Mode: Displays only the Burst Power score and its corresponding indicator (green, orange, or red circle).
Show Latest Date Column:
Toggle the display of the "Latest Date" column in the table, which shows the most recent occurrence of each significant move category.
Theme (Dark Mode):
Switch between Dark Mode and Light Mode for better visual integration with your chart's color scheme.
Table Position and Size:
Position: Place the table at various locations on the chart (top, middle, bottom; left, center, right).
Size: Adjust the table's text size (tiny, small, normal, large, huge, auto) for optimal readability.
Header Size: Customise the font size of the table headers (Small, Medium, Large).
Color Settings:
Disable Colors in Table: Option to display the table without background colors, which can be useful for printing or if colors are distracting.
Bullish Closing Filter:
Another customisation here is to count a move only when the closing for the day is strong. For this, we have an additional filter to see if close is within the chosen % of the range of the day. Closing within the top 1/3, for instance, indicates a way more bullish day tha, say, closing within the bottom 25%.
Move Markers on chart:
The indicator also marks out days with significant moves. You can choose to hide or show the markers on the candles/bars.
Practical Applications
________________________
Momentum Trading: High Burst Power scores can help identify stocks that are likely to experience rapid price movements, suitable for momentum traders.
Swing Trading: Traders looking for short- to medium-term opportunities may focus on stocks with moderate to high Burst Power scores.
Positional Trading: Lower Burst Power scores may indicate steadier stocks that are less prone to volatility, aligning with long-term investment strategies.
Risk Management: Understanding a stock's propensity for significant moves can aid in setting appropriate stop-loss and take-profit levels.

Custom Moving Average Ribbon with EMA Table & Text ColorComprehensive Description of the Custom Moving Average Ribbon with EMA Table & Text Color
The Custom Moving Average Ribbon with EMA Table & Text Color is a highly flexible and customizable indicator designed for traders who use multiple moving averages to assess trends, strength, and potential market reversals. It plots up to 8 moving averages (either SMA, EMA, WMA, or VWMA) on the price chart and displays a table summarizing the moving averages’ values, periods, and colors. The table also allows for the customization of the text color, making it easier to align with your chart’s theme or preference.
Key Features:
Multiple Moving Averages: You can display up to 8 moving averages (MA), each of which can be customized in terms of:
Type: SMA (Simple Moving Average), EMA (Exponential Moving Average), WMA (Weighted Moving Average), or VWMA (Volume-Weighted Moving Average).
Period: Each moving average has a user-defined period, which allows for flexibility depending on your trading style (short-term, medium-term, or long-term).
Enable/Disable: Each moving average can be independently enabled or disabled based on your preference.
Moving Average Ribbon: The indicator visualizes multiple moving averages as a ribbon, giving traders insight into the market's underlying trend. The interaction between these moving averages provides essential signals:
Uptrend: Shorter-term MAs above longer-term MAs, all sloping upward.
Downtrend: Shorter-term MAs below longer-term MAs, sloping downward.
Consolidation: MAs tightly packed, indicating low volatility or a sideways market.
Customizable Table: The indicator includes a table that displays:
The Name of each moving average (e.g., MA 1, MA 2, etc.).
The Period used for each moving average.
The Current Value of each moving average.
Color Coding for easier visual identification on the chart.
Text Color Customization: You can change the text color in the table to match your chart style or to ensure high visibility.
Responsive Design: This indicator works on any time frame, whether you're a day trader, swing trader, or long-term investor, and the table adjusts dynamically as new data comes in.
How to Use the Indicator
a) Trend Identification
The Custom Moving Average Ribbon helps in identifying trends and their strength. Here’s how you can interpret the plotted moving averages:
Uptrend (Bullish):
If the shorter-term moving averages (e.g., 5-period, 10-period) are above the longer-term moving averages (e.g., 50-period, 200-period), and all the MAs are sloping upward, it suggests a strong bullish trend.
The greater the separation between the moving averages, the stronger the uptrend.
Use the table to quickly verify the current value of each MA and confirm that the price is staying above most or all of the MAs.
Downtrend (Bearish):
When shorter-term moving averages are below the longer-term moving averages and all MAs are sloping downward, this indicates a bearish trend.
Greater separation between MAs indicates a stronger downtrend.
Neutral/Consolidating Market:
If the MAs are tightly packed and frequently crossing each other, the market is likely consolidating, and a strong trend is not in play.
In these situations, it’s better to wait for a clearer signal before taking any positions.
b) Reversal Signals
Golden Cross: When a short-term moving average (e.g., 50-period) crosses above a long-term moving average (e.g., 200-period), this is considered a bullish signal, suggesting a possible upward trend.
Death Cross: When a short-term moving average crosses below a long-term moving average, it’s considered a bearish signal, indicating a potential downward trend.
c) Using the Table for Quick Reference
The table allows you to monitor:
The current price value relative to each moving average. If the price is above most MAs, the market is likely in an uptrend, and if below, in a downtrend.
Changes in MA values: If you see values of shorter-term MAs moving closer to or crossing longer-term MAs, this could indicate a weakening trend or a potential reversal.
How to Combine this Indicator with Other Indicators for a Solid Strategy
The Custom Moving Average Ribbon is powerful on its own but can be enhanced when combined with other technical indicators to form a comprehensive trading strategy.
1. Combining with RSI (Relative Strength Index)
How It Works: RSI is a momentum oscillator that measures the speed and change of price movements, typically over 14 periods. It ranges from 0 to 100, with readings above 70 considered overbought and below 30 considered oversold.
Strategy:
Overbought in an Uptrend: If the moving average ribbon indicates an uptrend but the RSI shows the market is overbought (RSI > 70), it could signal a pullback or correction is imminent.
Oversold in a Downtrend: If the moving average ribbon indicates a downtrend but the RSI shows oversold conditions (RSI < 30), a bounce or reversal may be on the horizon.
2. Combining with MACD (Moving Average Convergence Divergence)
How It Works: MACD tracks the difference between two exponential moving averages, typically the 12-period and 26-period EMAs. It generates buy and sell signals based on crossovers and divergences.
Strategy:
Trend Confirmation: Use the MACD to confirm the direction and momentum of the trend indicated by the moving average ribbon. For example, if the MACD line crosses above the signal line while the shorter-term MAs are above the longer-term MAs, it confirms strong bullish momentum.
Divergences: Watch for divergences between price action and MACD. If price is making higher highs but MACD is making lower highs, it could signal a weakening trend, which you can verify using the moving averages.
3. Combining with Bollinger Bands
How It Works: Bollinger Bands plot two standard deviations above and below a moving average, typically the 20-period SMA. The bands widen during periods of high volatility and contract during periods of low volatility.
Strategy:
Breakout or Reversal: If price action moves above the upper Bollinger Band while the shorter-term MAs are crossing above the longer-term MAs, it confirms a strong breakout. Conversely, if price touches or falls below the lower Bollinger Band and the shorter MAs start crossing below the longer-term MAs, it indicates a potential breakdown.
Mean Reversion: In sideways markets, when the moving averages are tightly packed, Bollinger Bands can help spot mean reversion opportunities (buy near the lower band, sell near the upper band).
4. Combining with Volume Indicators
How It Works: Volume is a crucial confirmation indicator for any trend or breakout. Combining volume with the moving average ribbon can enhance your strategy.
Strategy:
Trend Confirmation: If the price breaks above the moving averages and is accompanied by high volume, it confirms a strong breakout. Similarly, if price breaks below the moving averages on high volume, it signals a strong downtrend.
Divergence: If price continues to trend in one direction but volume decreases, it could indicate a weakening trend, helping you prepare for a reversal.
Example Strategies Using the Indicator
Trend-Following Strategy:
Use the moving average ribbon to identify the main trend.
Combine with MACD or RSI for confirmation of momentum.
Enter trades when the shorter-term MAs confirm the trend and the confirmation indicator (MACD or RSI) aligns with the trend.
Exit trades when the moving averages start converging or when your confirmation indicator shows signs of reversal.
Reversal Strategy:
Wait for significant crossovers in the moving averages (Golden Cross or Death Cross).
Confirm the reversal with divergence in MACD or RSI.
Use Bollinger Bands to fine-tune your entry and exit points based on overbought/oversold conditions.
Conclusion
The Custom Moving Average Ribbon with EMA Table & Text Color indicator provides a robust framework for traders looking to use multiple moving averages to gauge trend direction, strength, and potential reversals. By combining it with other technical indicators like RSI, MACD, Bollinger Bands, and volume, you can develop a solid trading strategy that enhances accuracy, reduces false signals, and maximizes profit potential in various market conditions.
This indicator offers high flexibility with customization options, making it suitable for traders of all levels and strategies. Whether you're trend-following, scalping, or swing trading, this tool provides invaluable insights into market movements.

Consecutive Beta with Dynamic Support Resistance [TrendX_]The Consecutive Beta with Dynamic Support Resistance indicator is tailored to harness trend momentum, recognize top & bottom reversals, and leverage dynamic support and resistance levels. This indicator introduces a new approach by combining the concepts of beta, consecutive counting mechanisms, and the supertrend structure, making it a fresh tool for understanding market trends and patterns.
💎 KEY FEATURES
Candle’s Relative Valuation Using Beta: The core of the TrendX indicator lies in using beta to gauge volatility. Beta serves as a measure of how an asset moves relative to the broader market, helping traders understand whether the asset is more or less volatile in different market conditions.
Counting Techniques for Momentum & Reversals: By employing counting techniques to reach a significant threshold, the indicator can measure trend momentum and spot top/bottom reversals.
Dynamic Support & Resistance: This feature relies on consecutive beta counting to dynamically adapt support and resistance levels. These levels are key in predicting potential entry and exit points following the general trend direction.
⚙️ USAGES
Initial Start and Distance: Customize the initial start point and distance for better control over trading strategies. For instance, starting at 1 and using an even distance of 2 will yield odd consecutive counting series;
Phase 1 Completion for Reversal Strategies: This initial phase focuses on identifying short-term reversals;
Phase 2 Completion for Support/Resistance: A support level forms after completing two bullish phases, while a resistance level forms after completing two bearish phases. This structure helps in clarifying trend directions when breakout these key levels.
🔎 BREAKDOWN
Phase 1:
The indicator counts consecutive candles that show a higher Beta than in previous periods over a given length. The completion of countings only succeed when the whole series is uninterruptedly counted, or else countings will be canceled. This strict adherence to consecutive counts serves to ensure that only strong, sustained momentum is recognized and also helps filter out noise, weak signals and establish the initial direction catalyst, setting up for further trend analysis.
Phase 2:
After Phase 1 ends, the Phase 2 counting mechanism begins. This phase focuses on bottom reversals through consecutive higher beta candles, and top reversals by counting lower beta candles. At this stage, interuptions will not cancel the counting process. The ability to continue counting in Phase 2 allows for a broader perspective on market behavior. Even if individual candles do not consistently meet the criteria for consecutive counts, the cumulative effect of higher or lower beta readings over time provides valuable insights into market sentiment and trend direction.
Dynamic Support & Resistance:
After Phase 2 completion, if the average of high, low, and close surpasses both recent support and resistance levels from Phase 2, an uptrend is confirmed, which the support level is displayed. If it drops below these levels, a downtrend is indicated, where resistance is displayed instead of support. The result is displayed through a colored supertrend-line (teal for uptrend, red for downtrend).
